Wins don’t mean much as a stat anymore for pitchers but it’s satisfying having 2 16 win pitchers. Both lefties. Both with over 170 innings pitched rocking a low 3 ERA. I love my lefties and Fried + Rodon have put in a great season thus far. I miss Gerritt. Can’t wait for him to be back.
Also crazy to see it over again bc at the time it felt like the game was unwinding. But Fried stranded runners on 2nd and 3rd no outs to keep the game tied. Belli hit a double the bottom of the inning and that was the winning run.
he didn’t have good stuff at all today and he found a way to figure it out. Ace.
They basically scored off errors (and timely hits). Max was damn good considering.
