Despite all the insane overreactions being expected, they’re still disappointing. I get it was a long off season, but damn do people need to chill out.
both teams coming off a loss and Miami was humiliated. The game is in Miami which the pats never seem to play well plus Tua is 8-0 against us not an ideal scenario
Patriots losing and Bills winning in primetime is always the worst combo on a Sunday.
Ugu I am so tired of sucking.
Definitely too early to panic, but that was an ugly game.
Hope Gonz0 comes back soon, hope Landry’s ankle is ok, and maybe we unleash Maye some more week 2!
Least the Sox won after, still hopeful for this team. Go Pats!
Overreaction Monday here we go bb
People need to chill with Maye/Team expectations. He is raw and there are going to be growing pains. People expecting a giant leap and an 11-6 team this year were crazy. Like I hope that still happens but being realistic. I think 8-9 wins and Maye having a 2:1 td/pick ratio would be good goals regardless of what happens playoff wise.
Gonzo’s business decision to sit out will go on until at least week 4. Not expecting wins any time soon. Maybe grab one against Carolina and start 1-4 if we’re lucky.
The miscommunication among the DBs multiple times yesterday needs to get fixed or Hill and Waddle will feast Sunday, and if Gonzo isn’t back it’ll be ugly
Will we see Glassalez back this week?
The loss stunk, but to anyone who expected a playoff team maybe this helps bring you to reality. I say that though, to say there was reason to be optimistic. In spite of what so many people are dooming over, Maye had a very good first half and the offense looked competent—something that I wouldn’t have said with Brissett last year even when we beat Cincy. Maye looked like he had a better control of the offense and while his feet were happy the pass protection was better than last year.
It wasn’t until the pick and Vegas amping up pressure that things went sideways for the offense. So let’s keep some perspective and think a little about what happened well in spite of the loss.
