Kingery had the slowest whiff pitches in baseball history

If baseball history started like 6 years ago.
and he clearly didn’t have his best stuff
What’s so weird and aggravating about this is the man plays baseball for a living. He warms up by playing catch. When playing catch he’s throwing the ball 60-70 mph, pretty effortlessly, and fairly accurately. Why not just do that? Why go to this 30-40 mph that’s practically slow pitch softball?
Also.. it’s Kingery. Not like he’s an everyday starter anyhow. So if he’s in there, let him go nuts. I get it, that you don’t want your every day type of player to blow out his arm while pitching in a blow out, but for a backup utility guy, let him do what he can.
