Stupid ass Troy Aman. uh Cowan, JJ McCarthy, the number 10 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft versus Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson and the crooked Chicago Bears failed state and we we just just get to see the life drain from their eyes. Cena can’t see us because it’s going to be glorious. So, the first march towards the Drumardi starts tonight and the offense, the defense, everything is going to be ready to rock and roll and also the debut of JJ McCarthy. Quarterback one, getting it done and all of this stuff. I understand. Hey, the Packers are looking good. Hey, the Lions, whatever. Uh, hey, they should have brought Aon Rogers through for four touchdowns yesterday. Do not care. Quarterback one in your heart. Number nine in your program. That’s right. It’s kind of glorious. Absolutely fantastic. Also the chess match between the overrated Ben Johnson. Uh so Ben Johnson Lions I feel like it’s going to be something that Ben Johnson is terrible away from the Lions. Aaron Glenn is bad against the Lions as well as the Lions are terrible without Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn and Dan Campbell is just a nerd. Cannot do anything. I think that’s exactly what’s going to be happening. So yeah, I I I know I understand that the Vikings have had a rough go against uh Ben Johnson lines before. No factor. No, no factor whatsoever. I feel like we’re going to whip somebody’s ass. The defense is going to absolutely bring the house uh on Caleb Williams. Uh they’re going to shut down the running game. DeAndre Swift, what? Whatever. And even without Harrison Smith, which we’ll get to, I feel like we’re going to be good to go. All right. Other other side of the ball, Justin Freaking Jefferson. Bright lights, big city, all eyes on him. Big- time stage. I feel like Jefferson is is certainly going to show up and show out. No Addison, no factor. Uh quarterback make his NFL debut, no factor. Get going to get after things. So, I I I just cannot wait. You know, Jaylen Johnson dinged up. Kyler Gordon late addition to the injury report is well questionable with a hamstring of his own. So just bring it. Just bring it. I I love when Jefferson gets to hang out with his his son Jaylon Johnson. That’s right. Also the other wide receiver, Adam Derome, Ezekiel the I I love that the return of Thelen is like the the 17th largest story of this game. All right, but the doing some great work in the red zone. Third down, sitting down. Hey, I wonder if Bryce Young would have liked uh having Thelen around yesterday in Duval. It’s kind of weird. Yeah, but Thelen helping out his guy JJ McCarthy. They got together a bunch during the offseason the last two years. And I honestly think that JJ McCarthy was a deciding factor of Theelan getting his way back to Minnesota. Absolutely. But unfortunately, like we said, Harrison Smith ruled out uh by the Vikings on Sunday. Uh Harrison Smith illness has been downgraded out and will not travel with the team. And you we’ve already talked about like thoughts and your theories about what’s going on and you know the fact that Harrison Smith absolute leader always there for his team. So not traveling with the team. So no 45minute plane ride, no six-hour drive where you know team uh a team intern could have drove him in a team van. I don’t know. It’s kind of odd, right? But uh by and large all all the signs point to him progressing getting back. Kevin McConnell saying he’s more of a physical thing than a mental thing. So I I think that Harrison you know practices his his way back into game shape but was a limited participant at the end of last week and hopefully will progress this week and be back because you know Harrison Smith yes he is 36 and the Vikings are going to have to learn to live without him eventually. Also, the fact that he’s been out since August 11th means that the current existing DB group has had to communicate and work on things. So, I think that’s going to be a plus. But Harris’s leadership out there on the field. Flores calls him an extension of of himself, but it’s okay. I mean, Theo Jackson is going to be for real. Cam Beasy, but oh, we don’t have a clip of uh Cam Beasy doing doing a his touchdown dance or sorry, turnover dance to a game. a lot was absolutely fantastic to see Cam Beasy. Colts fans are going to love him. All right, but uh here and now Theo Jackson, Josh Mattel, carry on my Jay-word son, Cleassie, hero of the preseason. It’s time to step up. Now, archery is a meditation with in itself. Uh, I shoot a bow as well. Uh, you know, McCarthy talked about he’s got a Matthews. Matthew’s fantastic bow. Same one as me. Uh, he probably draws heavier than I do. I don’t know. I don’t know. Maybe. Actually, I I want JJ McCarthy to be out here like Cam Hayne style, just like pulling back on a 84lb bow, 90 lb bow, just like And there is something to it where, you know, you take some time, you know, no music, just out there just like there’s something to it, right? And I don’t know, like, of course, it’s the most on brand thing ever. Uh, and also he probably does it after meditating normally and then um do doing some sort of chance hanging out in a cave. We do have a graphic, but uh he had to pick off Aua, of course, had the turnover. Sy, he faked the hamstring injury, which I feel like that’s bad karma. You know, I I know that Jefferson did that against the Bills in 2022 and then 2023 had the hamstring. So, I don’t know. Put a hex on that. Uh but then I I I don’t know what what the whole thing is where you’re bouncing around on on your back. You’re like shrimping from jiu-jitsu. Just I I don’t know. I don’t get it. Actually, I’m kind of surprised that that JJ McCarthy hasn’t gotten into jiu-jitsu because that that’s also another art. It’s really good. The jujits. Uh, he probably only does the Americana. Anyways, also former Vikings round league slinging Sam Darnold aka Seattle’s quarterback had a chance to have some heroics late, but then he got strip sacked by his right tackle. And this was after like he threw a dart to JSN. like him and Jackson Smith and Jigba were on the same page all day long, but fell short. And then of course, all of the McCarthy haters than losers point to this, but this game was less about Rogers and more about the Jets defense just being a mess, right? And also Jets special teams. Hey, hey, Rogers had that really good strip of the kick returner on that kick return, just fantastic. But four touchdowns, whatever. But I I feel like was he efficient? Sure. Well, was there anything outstanding like did he drop any piss missiles? No. Make fine decisions? Yes. Against a very bad defense. But it is what it is, right? Also, it’s not like he doesn’t know the stadium or something like that. But hey, this is what I I’m worried about because hey, if JJ McCarthy comes out and has a whatever game, everyone’s just going to be like, “Oh, I told you. When did I tell you? I told you.” Blah, blah, blah. No. Future’s now, old man. That’s right. JJ McCarthy, ride or die. Sink or swim. Thick or thin. That’s right.
