Yankees’ Trent Grisham is SIZZLING starting off September (Is he having his career season?)
Gisham is ready. Rasmusen is ready. And let’s do it here in Tampa. So two and two on Gisham. Highfly ball deep right field. Low is back. Track wall. See youa. Deja vu all over again. The Yankees start the game with a home run. They’re up one- nothing. Trent Gisham with that short swing is able to pull his hands in and hit it in the right field bleachers. Back on top. The Yankees offense averaging 5.19 runs per game. That’s number one in baseball. Top of the order. Here’s Trent Gisham again. Homerred in the first. Struck out looking in a third single to left in the fifth. Highf fly ball right field and deep. And that is gone. Another home run for Gisham. His second of the night. The Yankees third. All solo shots. They’re up three nothing. He hit it hard, but he hit it so high. Didn’t know if it was going to have the carry, but he got enough of it to get it out of here. Top of the order. Here comes Trent Gisham, Aaron Judge, and Ben Rice. Here’s the one. Pick drive deep to right. We got a three nothing ball game, everybody. Second deck. Trent Gisham, his 24th home run. RBI number 49. Man, did he hit that a long way to the second deck. And that was a no doubter as soon as he did it. And this there’s the Yankees going strong again when they hit home runs. And that’s how they score. Those are hits also. 106 mph went 46 ft. That was a moonshot. That’s one of those laser shots. It was behind majestic 400. Big hole left side of the infield. Story the short stop. He’s playing up the middle. 01 breaking ball. High fly ball. Right field looking up Garcia. He’s done it again. Trent Gishim everybody with his second home run tonight. 25th of the season. And it’s a five nothing New York lead. And another pitch right in the middle of the right in the middle of the plate. Caught by a young man out there. Exit field of 105 mph. I kind of like that. Uh for him it’s getting harder and harder hit. The distance 413 ft. And just think of him guys back last year and look at what he’s done this year. Sixth career multi homer game for Trent Gisham. And the look on Dustin May Stace. He can’t believe this is happening. Gisham turns on that, rocks it deep to right field. Leaping is Cruz and that ball is gone. Trent Gisham with home run number 26. A leadoff one at that. And the Yankees with an early one- nothing lead. Well, you just keep being impressed by Trent Christian. But yeah, you had a better angle than me cuz I didn’t know if Cruz got to that ball or not. It was close. But what to start and then it looked like Dylan Cruz might have come down with it. The way he leaped. I tell you, you talk about your heart is waiting as a hitter. Oh, there’s a laser. That ball is gone. Trent Gisham home run number 27 and the Yankees have broken it open. It’s a 94 game. A deep dish deposit from the Yankee center fielder. That was not Pizzeria Uno duo. That was Quantro a fouragger. Man, how good has he been for the Yankees and seemed to do it off at lefthanders is really impressive as well. I mean, his 27th home run, by far the best year of his career, by far. When it comes to American League outfielders, Gisham tied for fifth in homers, second and on base, seventh in slugging, and 10th in war. Base is loaded. Two out, Yanks leading one- nothing. And Gisham providing the separation that is gone. A grand slam for Trent Gisham. The career year continues and it’s five nothing Yanks. Little fast ball. He loves the ball middle in and he’s not afraid to hit the ball up because he’s got such a flat swing and eventually all those walks needed to catch up to Yandre Gomez and Gisham just made him happen. Big spot here trying to build on this two nothing lead. Pitcher Gisham swing on hit to left field and deep going back out and it is gone. A grand slam. Another one for Trent Gisham. A 6 nothing Yankee lead. That’s his third slam this season. The Crawford box is just about 315. And listen to these Yankee fans. 29th home run for him. 358 ft. That’s all it is out there. That’s all you have to do that. And this is the summer of Trent Gisham. This is unbelievable what this man is doing. Big hit after big hit. Wow. Boy, I wasn’t kidding when I said he get if he can get one run or two run or three on four. Man, oh man, that’s impressive. Drilled deep to right field. There it goes. See youa. A long home run for Gisham. His 30th of the year. It’s a three-run shot and the Yankees lead eight-3. 30 times he’s gotten to do that this year. 30. His careerhigh was 17 coming into this year. What a season for Trent Gisham. Trent Gisham. Have a year. He shortened up on the bat. I could see he was shortening up. He choked up at the bat. He was short and powerful to the ball. That was beautiful. Homer number 30. Number 30. How about that? And no, you didn’t have it on your bingo, Carrie. No, I don’t think anybody had that on the bingo card. No chance.
As of August 20th, Trent Grisham has hit 9 home runs, recorded 19 RBIs and has helped bring the New York Yankees within TWO games of the AL East title!

THE BIG SLEEP
hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey
I guarantee once Grish signs a new contract we will never see these numbers again .
Basically Replaced Soto,
For a fraction of the price, and puts up similar Production this year
Definitely a career season. His other best season was 2021: .242 w/ 15 homers, 62 rbi, .808 ops, 112 hits, 62 runs, 54 walks.
He's clearing or will clear all of those and on a more important team/season!
The Yankees have so many players with over 20 Homer's
Judge 43, Grisham 30, Jazz Chisolm Jr 28, Bellinger, 27, Ben Rice 23, Austin Wells 20,
Stanton has 19 despite barely playing, Volpe and McMahon also have 19 Allready
Grish has been calm and great on both ends all season.
Yankees have the most homeruns of any team this season. Hopefully this translates to a World Series win too.
