I don’t really know what to make of this stat other than “if he had caught those passes, he would have a lot of yards”.
20 of those should have been realized …
I just know that D Hop would be catching those balls in stride
He’s an edible
The two position groups I was worried about ended up showing a lot of promise. WR could be decent if Ridley gets to 1k+ yard Ridley and not drop the ball Ridley. I think he does better against other teams moving forward, that was a tough matchup. If Ayomanor becomes a legit WR2 all of a sudden the WR room doesn’t feel so thin. The interior linebackers were way better than I expected as well. Looks like in those less deep position groups there are players taking advantage of the opportunity.
Does he even account for drops or does he just take moon balls that didn’t connect??
Idk if this is already what it takes into account but in my opinion the only valuable version of this stat would be yards lost based on drops, like if the pass was off by 10 yards I wouldn’t count that towards unrealized yards for the reciever
