Good dude. Never understand adults who fight for balls. Take a selfie with it if you want then give it to a kid.
I’ve only had 2 chances at getting a ball, one was a a homerun by the Braves which another fan have hit off his arm while he reached over me. He ended up with it and we had no kids around us. Another was a foul ball that fell and bounced off a ladies head and rolled to me. No kids around again so lucked out.
Stay classy San Francisco!!
SF fans have class.
Unlike Philly sports fans.

The Phillies Fan (Woman) was wrong and deserves criticism, but giving balls to kids isn’t a must. When people go to games, lots have never caught a baseball. Many have kids, nephews at home that would like a baseball caught at a game. One thing is going out of your way and taking the ball from a kid, another is catching a baseball and being forced to give it up. You don’t need to give up a baseball.
If you’re on TV shown keeping the baseball instead of giving it away could be because that person has people they’re going to give the ball when they get home. It’s not always about the kid next to the adult not getting the baseball. Yes, there’s Aholes, but this is so political. If you don’t give up a baseball to a kid, basically that makes you Trump or Hitler.
Watching the Giants broadcast for years and seeing this regularly, I thought this was the norm everywhere. Philly Karen made me realize that that is not the case.
That’s how it’s done — nice work
This is the way it’s done – hella classy & sweet!
Just how it should be!!
I say this as somebody who was hit by a baseball at my first game and had my frat brothers laugh at me.
