Not my circus, not my clown.
Fuck em.
If I lost that much due to stupidity, my mental health would be shot as well. That said, I have been surprised the other baseball Aybars didn’t give him *really* firm guidance early on.
My sentiment is the same as other people’s. Despite being disgusting, Wander is still just a dude, and almost everyone would have a hard time coping with the fact they threw away so much to ‘mess with’ a minor.
You kind of can’t undo something like that and I don’t think he should come back to MLB, but I hope he can at least live the rest of his life as normally as possible (!!! far away from the Rays !!!).
The whole thing is a great tragedy.
Understandable, he fumbled a 115 million and a career for a little girl.
He destroyed his life and career due to his own choices. My sympathy goes as far as the fact that people like this don’t spring out of nowhere. The people around him failed him and his victims. I hope he gets the help he clearly needs, just like I hope the victims do.
Yet people still wear this dudes jersey
