Personally, I believe Spencer Rattler really wasn’t all of that bad. He was definitely not the reason that the New Orleans Saints lost this football game. I mean, obviously, you would have liked to see him have a little bit better of a day. You would have liked to see him find the end zone. I thought it was his overall best outing that we’ve seen since he’s been drafted, including in the preseason. And in my personal opinion, I thought Rattler was good. I didn’t think he was great. And in my personal opinion, I also think Rattler needs to be great more often because they don’t have enough talent around him to just be good. And especially if this Chris Olive chest injury is something that lingers, that’s going to be a major major problem. Again, I thought he was good, but I didn’t think he was great. I didn’t think he was really all that bad. Like I said, he was not the reason you lost this football game.

Chris Olave is always injured you can't have a guy like that as your number 1 WR he's too injury prone.

It’s a breakdown of every Saints offensive play and tell me what you see I’ll say 60% of this wasn’t on Rattler Our receivers weren’t open most plays due to our routes. And that big throw as well to Rasheed that was picked in the endzone watch the breakdown Rasheed almost stopped running in the route . It’s a lot of things need to get cleaned up.
Anything for clicks, Spencer Rattler stinks at football.. it amazes me that it is so easy to see and yet people are blinded.. one read zero arm strenght, zero arm talent, slow processing, non Athletic, QB. You can flip it any way you want. Shough outplayed Rattler in every aspect in preseason. The coach is brilliant , he is waiting to start Shough so the fan base is 1000% behind a QB change.. Shough does everything better than Rattler…

Rattler telegraphs what he is gonna do before the snap & his cadences are not consistent. Next game what his feet & how he stands before the snap. If he is gonna drop back to pass he has one foot back, if it’s a pitch, handoff, screen or short quick pass, he stands a bit more straight up with both feet under him. Inconsistent cadence causes pre-snap penalties. The young man has a lot of talent & he is physically gifted but as a former linebacker, I looked for anything & everything that gave away the play. Rattler is an open book!! Next game, watch him pre-snap, everything from his head movements as they come to line, how he stands & how he sets his feet. By the 2nd quarter, you’ll know what he is gonna do before he does it. UNLESS they catch it this week while studying film & they work on it. Which is what I’m really hoping for!!

I think we have the defense that will keep us in a game and the offense should match the defenses aggression. I'd like to see the offense take more risks down field, I think their 2 minute drill in the 1st half was interesting but the play calls weren't.
I agree too hopefully he'll get better n im down with Rattler n Moore on what they're doing. 3rd and long situations. Defensively, 3rd down play calling was 🚮. That’s the only thing I could see. A few key drops on offense, but hey, you can’t catch ‘em all. 🤷🏾♂️ This team has the tools. I’m actually proud of this team. 🖤⚜️💛
He can’t throw more than 15 yards comfortably or consistently. The few times he did was a int or a bad ball
He was not the problem. Maybe catching a ball would have helped. Maybe the ref’s calling pass interference would have helped. Maybe playing Kamara more would have helped.

The Saints have to run the ball more! If Spencer Rattler has to throw the ball 46+ times, they’re in trouble. He’s not ready for that. They averaged over 4 yards a carry, even Kendre Miller looked good at times. Run the ball, set up some play action and build Rattlers confidence.
Penalties killed major of the drives can’t expect him to overcome that the whole game

Juwan Johnson and Blake groupie lost the game. Simple as that. Rattler did great. Get those points we win the game. Everyone should see that.
Penalties. Penalties have plagued the Saints for so long, they should develop a way to overcome their penalties since they can't figure it out the other way.
I think they should give rattler a whole game and give shough a whole game
But either way we suck our defense has always been great so has our o line and receivers we just can’t find a QB we need to tank !!!
