According to reports, the Sixers have been looking to trade Kelly Ubé and or Andre Drummond to clear up some money to resign Quinton Grimes and stay under the first apron. I have no issue with the Sixers looking to move Andre Drummond in a salary cap move. He wasn’t all that good last year. Played injured. You have Adam Bona. You have Janai Broom. But if the Sixers trade Kelly Ubé, get nothing in return in a salary dump move. I think it will be a bad decision. I’ve talked about trading Uber in the past, but that was to make an upgrade on the roster because little bit inconsistent offensively, especially from behind the three-point line, can be limited, especially come playoff time. But he’s a good player. He brings you energy, effort, does good things defensively, and does do some good things offensively as well. So, if they trade UB for absolutely nothing, I think a big mistake because you can trade Drummond and still save enough money to bring back Grimes and be under that first apron.

Completely agree, Oubre is an extreme value for what he does and his salary. I wouldn't want to trade him unless it was for a legit starting PF because you're almost assuredly not getting his value back.
