Not trying to read too much into this but sounds like he’s not thrilled with how he feels.. fingers crossed we get the same Barzy back (or one who shoots the puck 😉)

Might as well shut him down and tank again.
I wouldn’t read much into it. I don’t think he’ll even fully know how it feels until it is tested in game action. That he’d be 100% ready to suit up for a game tomorrow is the most important part.
Not to be a pollyanna but this is not glass half empty material, for me
“It doesn’t matter if im in pain, i have 6 more years in my deal” probably not what he meant
Im not too, too worried. If it’s annoying but not stopping him, fine. He was bound to lose a step too. With his hands and IQ, I think he’ll be able to massage his game a bit to stay up to his standard
well we know he didnt get the injury from shooting the puck lol
“Not encouraging” is an understatement.
That is a terrible quote.
It’s really a nothing burger… hockey is a physical game. I’d hazard a guess that an overwhelming majority of players in the league, maybe even all of them, never feel 100%. As long as he feels completely ready to get out there and play again who cares.
This also reminds me of the talk a few years ago about how Aaron Judge was never going to be 100% again after the toe injury. All he’s done since then is put up two more all time great seasons. Good players find a way

No one is ever 100%, it’s impossible.
