“Just” 11 miles into the heart of LA?! Lol…that’s at least an hour and a half if he has to get to the arena by 6pm for shoot around or something.
I thought the post said “11 minutes away,” which would have made it funny. But 11 miles in many cities can take a while, especially in LA. Even in a city like Portland it can take 30-40 minutes with traffic.
Driving 11 miles to downtown LA can take close to an hour.
11 miles In LA could be Santa Monica to staples
I mean, thats a long distance for any high traffic city?
Yeah guys we get it LA has traffic, probably should’ve left earlier
Phil Jackson: “Well, why didn’t you leave earlier?”
11 miles in LA is pretty much international travel. you gotta bring a passport and shit
I’ve got a feeling he was late a lot.
11 miles in two hours.
Sounds like LA traffic.
I live in Miami. My job is 9 miles away and it take me an hour to drive there. Throw in a major event like Ultra, Art Basel, Rolling Loud, or Boat Week it’s a wrap. So I kinda understand
he was bowling, Phil
Crazy to think Bynum is only 37….
There’s always helicopter
In LA, distance is measured in time, not miles.
Bynum lives about an hour away from the arena. An hour and a half isn’t unusual during rush hour if there’s literally any kind of accident or construction.
He left at 5 and thought he was safe.
My entire country is 14 miles wide lmao
Still if you live in LA you should know 11 miles is a long drive and leave early as hell. I live in the same city I work and it takes me 45 minutes to get there despite being 6 miles.
Westchester is by the airport, Staples is by downtown. It’s a 30 minute drive through the streets, and 25 with the freeways with no traffic. He definitely waited and hit traffic jams.
Did anyone watch the video? They said it too him 2 hours!! Classic LA traffic
11 miles in Los Angeles my dude. 5 lanes one way, congested as fuck, bumper to bumper. That’s LA.
Fun fact.
Most people in LA won’t know how far 11 miles is.
We go by units of time.
How far is LA to Orange County? “About 45 minutes”
That’s far af in LA
Should’ve get a chopper like Kobe
Tell me you’ve never commuted in a big city without telling me you’ve never commuted in a big city.

We squeezed every last bit of basketball juice out of him. I legit wonder what he does now
So everybody else just teleported to the arena on time? Feels like this from these comments.
That’s why he went out the league quickly
He really is an enigma
11 miles in LA can take an eternity.
Why is everyone saying it takes long to drive that far? Still completely Bynum’s fault
And this is before waze to help you..
“Just 11 miles away” in Los Angeles is not the same as “just 11 miles away” in say Minnesota.
Tell me you’ve not been to Los Angeles without telling me OP
