He’s trying to be Riley Green, the country music artist. And I kind of like it. Okay. The can the Canada goose. They sell jackets. You look up in the sky at any moment, you’re going to see a Canadian goose. You look out on the mound at the Rogers Center every game. It seems like Jos Bereios is taking a bump. This guy does not miss a start. He leads Major League Baseball with 232 starts since the start of 2018. How about the dark eyed junko? Oh, Kevin Gosman’s got a 2.59 RA and a 179 opponent’s average over his last nine starts. And the dark eyed Junkos are neat, even flashy little sparrows. And to close it out, one last. There’s a cedar wax wing. No, no, no. I got a wing for you to wax here. Right, Max Sherzer? Here we go. Now, it’s cedar wax wing and treat to find in your binocular viewfield. It’s really three and three because the Mets hold the tiebreaker over the Giants. So, it’s Giants and Reds both at three back. Yes. Right now, I think the bigger question is how much panic should there be in Mets kingdom and how much belief should there be with the Giants? You always think that it’s up to New York. You’re not. Oh, I think it’s up to New York. I think New York is a better team than the San Francisco Giants. That doesn’t doesn’t mean what what I’m witnessing right now happening. Let’s take a look at the Mets remaining. This is what’s interesting is they they can’t get swept here at Philly. We can’t you can’t have a four game sweep this late in the season against a divisional foe and think you’re going to So with not only that, Dro, guess who’s coming to town for the Mets weekend? Jacob Deg Grom on Friday night with the Rangers at City Theater. But I almost feel like you got to stop worrying about who we’re who we’re playing and start figuring out what the what the problem is with us. Yeah. I I mean Maniah started to figure it out at the end, but they have to find a way to piece together some like Klay Holmes has to go out today and and kind of relax everybody. Find a way to win this game against Christopher Sanchez, split this series with Yeah. And as far as the Giants are concerned because we have we weren’t paying attention to him in the in that middle part of the season, Willie Adamus for had gotten off to such a bad start. 182 million feeling the weight of the world to try and live up to that. It took him some time. He has gotten redot. Raphael Devers swinging the bat. Robbie Ray last night pretty darn good out on the bump figuring out Pig I think it’s his name was Pigger throwing a buck 02 out of their bullpen last night there I always look at the postgame press conference to watch Bob Melvin’s postgame press conference in June and compare it to now I mean he’s lit up like a Christmas tree so you know the energy within that clubhouse is is real and remember Lauren mentioned the Giants still have seven games with the Los Angeles Dodgers the Mets are two talent two yeah uh also So, the Reds after they’re done with San Diego, they go to Sacramento and then they have the Cardinals. So, that’s what their uh upcoming schedule looks like. And a little fortuitous timing for us.
