So this means one of two things.
1. Broderick Jones is half-assing his role.
2. He CAN’T play any better and is going to continue to get worked on the line.
Don’t see him being a Steeler for long.
Move him to farther left tackle. It’s his natural position.

I call on Mike Tomlin to stop playing young guys out of position for multiple years and fucking up their development.
I and so many others were downvoted all the time for saying that the RT switch would mess up his development. People who have played OL know switching sides or positions on the line is not easy and ultimately never feels as good as your main position.
It’s hard enough for top veteran OTs to do this and we forced a young developmental career LT to play RT.
And for what? Dan Moore? A mediocre tackle we didn’t even end resigning? Wins? We went 10-7 both seasons with an immediate playoff loss. QB development? 4/5 of the QBs in those two seasons are no longer on the team and the 5th is currently our backup in his 8th season.
Ridiculous.

As I recall there was another O-Lineman we had play out of position, traded him off and now he’s a probowler. What was his name again
Oh Yeah Kevin Dotson. Just think if he palyed his natural position and was coached by someone who was competent at his job (Munchack).

After watching live, I went back and watched all our offensive plays again and specifically watched Broderick every play. He went against 3 guys.95 just manhandled him every time. Literally grabbed Broderick by the chest and had his way with him. #9 beat him with speed, he got the last sack against Broderick. #72 broderick didnt play play bad againstbit even 72 beat him sometimes. On most running plays, Broderick man mad the tackle so it wasn’t jist bad pass blocking from him. His technique is so bad. He has no leg drive what so ever. As a lineman, blocking down ( when guys inside gap ) is the easiest block, he couldnt even do that. Yes our line coach is bad but there’s no need for him to be telling a 4th year 1st round pick to drive his fn legs
