That’s also flat across the board at minus 110. All right, Corby uh Kate Horton coming off his uh no hitter if you will. I took his five strikeouts again. Still getting plus money number. He’s shown a propensity to get to here. Braves are playing for nothing. Give me Horton. Five plus Ks plus 127. Super quick and easy. What do you think here, Corby on this one? Cubs versus Braves. Yeah, I don’t mind the Horton. Obviously rooting for it for old Ken, but I’m going to go a different way. Kyle, when is the last time Spencer Strider had seven strikeouts? July 23rd. So why in the world would this line be seven plus? Add just some just some baby plus money. Just feels like, you know, everyone says the books know. So why don’t you listen to the books? Not the reason I’m actually playing this, but I did think it was interesting to see Spencer Shrider, a guy who has all the all the stuff in the world. He even has a base runner rep. Uh, and every time I see his name, I think of the base runner rep, which is just unfortunate at this point. Um, a guy who has all the stuff in the world, has not looked good. One strike out, three, two, two, six, getting a six and a half. Corby, by the way, was just against the Cubs, the same very same team. Does that concern you at all? No. So, there there’s there’s a whole bunch of factors that would theoretically want you to point towards an under. They just played the Cubs. He’s looked bad. All of these things, they don’t really have anything to play for. Why use your guy who’s coming back from injury? And yet my number shaded. It wasn’t a ton, but it shaded towards the over here enough for me to bet the seven plus strikeouts. Plus, I think I saw 114. Um, I’m going to take Strider to go over his strikeouts. I think when you’re using some kind of like analytic model and it can point you towards an over, while every human bias would say under has to be the move here, it makes a lot of sense for me. So, gonna play the u the over at plus 110. Shout out to Andreas behind the scenes. Yeah, plus 110. Seven and plus. Kades here. What do we think on this one, BDub? Our boy Spencer Strider. Uh, he’s not our boy this year. He’s really falling off. Kade Horton trying to lock in this rookie of the year. What do you think here? Cubs Braves beat up. Yeah, I you know, I I jokingly said uh earlier today that uh you know, Strider is not going to be the same unless he switches over to a meat-based diet because he’s a vegetarian. But maybe not that I’m not joking at all because his numbers have been really really poor. Um, you know, I have him in and this this comes from in 2023 one of the best bass winner raps of all time. In fact, Kyle probably he didn’t pen it. He kind of improvised the 99 on the gun in the shower. In the shower. Yeah, it is a be probably the best. You know, I I spend spend, you know, hours and hours with pen to paper writing bass winner raps and Kyle comes up with the best line. but he hasn’t hit 99 on the gun for a long time and uh I I just I think it’s really concerning if you’re the Braves. He’s 22% worse than average. Having said that, you know, the love for Kate Horton, I’m not seeing it with the numbers and and like the numbers are okay. 60 percentile location plus 47 percentile stuff plus the median strikeout percentage only in the 33rd percentile. But having said all that, he’s he’s better in the model uh than than Strider is. And then the Cubs really better offensively, fourth compared to 10th with the Braves. And then the Cubs bullpen is kind of making some progress in that base winner ratings. And you know, we talked about how bad they were at the beginning of the year, but they’re number six now. So that’s pretty surprising with the latest updated base winner bullpen ratings. I like the Cubs here. I’m going to go with the Cubs really kind as as a pick them which is really surprising to me uh given all the components that go into this game. So I think that’s a good play. Uh go with go with the Cubs full game. Kyle, let’s go. Liking the Cubs a little bit here for purposes of the show. We’re going to lock in a couple strikeout props.
