Kawhi’s $1.75M “No-Show” Payday Was Late. A Clippers Owner Invested $1.99M. We Got Receipts.

  1. Lmao that math ain’t mathin… looks shady as hell, they really think ppl ain’t gonna connect those dots 💀

  2. They really went through the co-owner, not even being subtle and trying to hide their tracks getting this payment through. This is just absurd lmao

Edit: Alright, also, this part at [38:31](https://youtu.be/mKJyKFdT8rQ?feature=shared&t=2314) is just ridiculous. The guy invests all this money for 0.072% of the company – **that they say in the purchase agreement is already in default**

I just really can’t wait to hear how they try to explain this whole thing away, it’s incredible the work that Pablo has done on this

  3. Pablo is the man. the more information that comes out. the worse it looks for the clippers and Kawhi. I hope the nba throws the book at the clippers and Kawhi.

  4. Dropping this at 2am pacific is cold. People gonna wake up to a bomb.

I’m pumped to see what else is in here

    Edit:

Pablo found bank statements. **Payments to Kawhi are marked as “Critical”**. He’s also found they were late on payments, so a mysterious new investor shows up and gives them just what they’d need to pay Kawhi. It just so happens to be the only other person who owns a piece of the Clippers, Ballmer’s old roommate, Dennis Wong.

He also did this at the point in time where the company was clearly failing, so it was obviously not a good-faith investment. **It seems to be the worst look yet.** Another fatal blow by Pablo.

Banger video, do recommend people watch.

  5. Just when you thought the Clippers involvement with Aspiration couldn’t get any more shadier, it becomes even more obviously shadier than we knew.

  6. What a piece of work this guy is. Fuck you pay me for doing nothing?
The spurs got lucky losing him.

  7. Pablo is this summers Kendrick. We’re all just sitting around waiting for him to drop his next bomb

  8. Kawhi: “On top of the principle is compounded if you’re late. That’s 1.75 million one week from today. Don’t give me that look. This is your problem. I will not fuckin enable you”

  9. Pablo Torre deserves his flowers for how well he’s doing his job with this whole story, it’s very apparent to me he’s one of the very few who claims to be a journalist who actually holds journalistic standards and has integrity.

It was pretty eye-opening how many people in the industry were quick to puppet the talking points/agenda the split second this story came out. Night and day difference between Pablo and pretty much everyone else in the industry.

**We love you Pablo, keep doing your thing homie.**

  10. Honestly this shit is whack, how many people follow the rules for 50-60k a year, yet these guys break the rules to make 20 mill. Maybe I’m jealous, but seriously wish players loved the game more than money.

  11. Hollllly F!

    Watching this live now.

Getting chills. Pablo gonna go into the journalism HOF if his career stopped today.

  12. Just know that if you’re ever in a room with Pablo and he has sealed file folders in front of him….its a wrap my guy.

  13. Pablo is baiting these people to try and explain their way out of this fiasco not knowing all the exits are blocked

  14. Just found out the r/LAClippers has banned any post from the PTFO YT channel. Pretty par for the course for a sub that locks down after losing when up 3-1

  15. I like how Pablo’s last three episodes, including this one, are being rolled out. Kawhi and Clippers being dodgy as fuck, the GOAT streaker, and now back to Clippers being dodgy as fuck. It is almost like his team and him are so confident in their research, they are fucking with Ballmer and co. Make billionaires uncomfortable, Pablo. Doing god’s work.

  16. I know it’s a small detail, but the Clippers’ minority owner’s daughter having a job at Aspiration seems like the sort of everyday nepotism that billionaires and the ultra rich just do habitually while claiming they work so hard and homeless people should get a job and earn a living, or whatever.

It could just be a coincidence. She could be incredibly qualified and have worked her ass off there.

But it sure seems like Aspiration was just being used as a fig-leaf slush fund for more than just Kawhi Leonard, and this more mundane version (“we’re giving you millions of dollars, so please be sure this resume gets your attention, as a favor”) happens everywhere all the time.

“It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.”

  17. I doubt Adam Silver would have the balls to do it but in addition to stripping away draft picks from the clippers, Kawhi should be banned from the nba. He’s just as culpable since him and uncle Dennis demanded the same bs from Toronto. He’s almost single handedly responsible for making load management throughout the whole season a normal part of the game. They wouldn’t need gimmicks like the nba cup if dickheads like Kawhi didn’t treat the regular season like part time employment thus turning it into a joke

  18. NBA didn’t even need to bother hiring the Law firm, cause Pablo is looking though all the documents for free

  19. Pablo is a national treasure! Can’t wait for him to get discredited by the billionaires hiring PI’s to bury this man by finding dirt.

  20. So all I’ve heard is punishment for the owner but does anyone know what kind of punishment kawhi would get?

  21. Lol why they are even paying him like he’s Spurs Kawhi. The guy is never available and even when he is it’s the first round loss at best

  22. An actual journalist out here doing proper journalism in this age of PR regurgitating morons and hot takes specialists.

Pablo is a rare breed man. This is award worthy investigative reporting.
