Dallas Cowboys MEETING w/ FORMER FIRST OVERALL PICK DE Jadeveon Clowney!

Don’t look now, ladies and gentlemen. But the Dallas Cowboys could be prepared to make a real move, like a serious move. One that’s going to bring a player in that’s been productive as recent as last season. Not a guy that was productive three years ago or somebody that’s been a failed experiment. No, we’re about to bring in a hired hitman by way of defensive end Java Clowny. According to reports by Josina Anderson, the boys, they could be about to get a lot more physical and a lot more dangerous on that line. Let’s get right into it. She says free agent edge rusher Java Clowney is in Dallas today to meet with the Cowboys. Oh, this right here is spicy, ladies and gentlemen. She said, “A league source told me Wednesday morning, free agent edge rusher Javon Clowney is meeting with the Dallas Cowboys Wednesday to see if he can help bolster the team’s defense. The Cowboys host the Giants or the Littles on Sunday. This is absolutely amazing. I don’t know about this breaking news graphic. It’s a little but this is amazing news coming from one Josina Anderson this morning. And I’m going to tell y’all this. I know there’s a lot of people out there that’s going to instantly have the knee-jerk reaction. Oh, we’re trying to go and get another one of these washed guys. Blah blah blah. Look, man, I don’t want to hear none of that. The way some of y’all drop to y’all knees and start sucking off Howy Roseman for going to get Tank Bsby for the Philadelphia Eagles. A position by the way, which he won’t even really be playing a whole bunch of snaps, man. Y’all forgot they got Saquon Barkley right there. So, they didn’t just technically upgrade a position, bro. They literally just got more depth at a position. something the Cowboys have done very well at all off season long, which kind of showed through in the fact that we got rid of a Michael Parsons, didn’t add another pass rusher to that room, and we still were able to finish with the second highest pressure rate in the league for week one. You can see here that only five defenses generated pressure on 40% of their opponents drop backs in week one. And it didn’t include one defense that I’m sure a lot of people thought would be at the top of this list, but it did include the Dallas Cowboys as the second highest rated defense for this category, right behind the Pittsburgh Steelers, generating a 44% pressure rate. The Cowboys had a 42.4% pressure rate. So obviously, they weren’t having all that much trouble rushing the passer as it is. This is one of those type of moves that y’all have begged and pleaded with the Joneses to make to keep up with the Roseman’s and they went and bolstered a position that’s already performing well but could end up finding some slippage later in the season. Jadeon Clowny, if they’re able to seal the deal on this one, I really really like this move. Not as a every down starter, but as a guy coming in in the rotation, there’s no way you can look me in the face and say he can’t help the Dallas Cowboys. If you actually take a look at where he is in his career right now, he’s 32 years old. So, this is a veteran. It wouldn’t be more than a one-year type of deal. But if you look at it, man, he played last year for the Carolina Panthers and actually got five and a half sacks for the Carolina Panthers last year. He played for the Baltimore Ravens in 2023. That defense that was a triple crown defense. Remember the defense that helped Lamar Jackson rob Dak Prescott MVP because they had a defense that was literally number one in every category across the board. Uh Java Clowney was on that defense. Not only that, he started 15 games for that defense. Not only that, he had nine and a half sacks for that defense. So yes, Java Clown’s humongous self, 6’5, 265 lbs were really 15 sacks over the last two seasons. You’re damn Skippy. He can help the Dallas Cowboys accomplish what they trying to accomplish this season. And I’m going to tell you this right now. the Cowboys make this move, can’t nobody look me in the face and say the Cowboys ain’t trying to win something this year. Now, I know we all said this was a a a growth and evaluation type of season where they’re going to try to develop guys. They’re going to have to try to help guys grow, figure out who works in their system, who doesn’t, and then they were going to evaluate who they need to get rid of. But man, this is starting to look more and more and more like Jerry Jones and that front office were as impressed with the Cowboys in week one as we were. And Jerry’s comments after the game kind of echoes that sentiment. But not only they were impressed, but they were moved to the point to where they’re like, “Hey man, we may be able to make some supplementary moves here to really make a run at this thing.” And I’m telling you right now, Java Clowny, this is the type of move that absolutely won’t hurt. And if you don’t think that he perfectly fits the culture that Brian Shottimer is trying to build, I don’t know what to tell you. Remember, this was a guy that again played on that 2023 Baltimore Ravens defense. So, we know we know we know he knows how to play with in structure. He is a seasoned veteran. He’s on the last couple of years of his career and he’s probably trying to win a ring at this point. And I think that Javon Clown, if he comes to Dallas, that is going to go a long way towards adding a serious punch to that defensive end room because he’s big, he’s physical, he has that competitive fire, and I think that he would fit in with with the culture that the Cowboys are trying to craft here. And not only that, he could bring some of that experience that he gained from being on those 2023 Baltimore Ravens. He could bring some of that experience and help assist the Cowboys and trying to accomplish whatever missions they’re trying to accomplish this season. Before he was with the Ravens, he was with the Browns for two seasons and had 11 sacks in two years there. Before then, he was with Tennessee. Didn’t have a good year at all in Tennessee. Probably his worst year of his career outside of his rookie year where he got hurt. But beyond that, man, Davon Clowney, he’s had 58 sacks over the course of his career. And if you break it down, even with the zero sack seasons he has, he’s had two zero sack season. You break it down, he still average seven sacks per season over a 17game average over his career. So at minimum, what you would be adding to your defensive end room is a guy that’s going to get you more than five sacks, a handful of sacks plus. He’s going to add physicality. He’s going to give you another big body to throw out there. And this is a guy that you won’t have to worry about those outside runs with. And this is a guy that’s still an athletic specimen and could absolutely help supplement this defense. So, I really really like this move if y’all can’t figure it out yet. And to be completely honest, I don’t know why we haven’t done this a little bit sooner. So, if Java Clowney is the guy that the Cowboys are planning to bring in, I am all for it. bring the former number one overall pick to Dallas. Yes, he is a relic. Yes, he is 32 years old. No, he is not in his prime, but yes, he’s also still productive at that position, especially being asked to do what he’s going to be asked to do with the Cowboys, and that’s going to be get after the passer. Collapse that pocket. Be a big physical imposing body. Sign this man immediately, Jerry. Don’t let him leave Dallas because again, it can’t hurt us. It can only help us. And I would never be against a move that can’t hurt us and can only help us. This would be a low investment, high reward type of move. Think Carl Lawson on steroids from last season.   11. I didn't realize that he was still available and this would be a great move. He is good against the run and above average pass rusher. His biggest problem is that he ask for too much money for his services which is one of the reasons why it is hard for him to stay on one team.

  19. I’m with you, go Jerry sign him. He helps with run, can pass rush, and veteran rusher always helps…Fowler (we poopoo him when he came the first time, second time…don’t hear the concern) is an example of it can work.
