Cincinnati Reds vs San Diego Padres (09-10-25) MLB Game Predictions, Picks and Best Bets

[Music] 959 960. We’ve got Andrew Abbott and the Reds sitting at plus 126. Nick Paveta Padres’s minus 140. Total 7 and a half flat across the board at minus 110. Corby, this is the last leg of the Blazing Sevens parlay. We’re going to have Peralta, Paveta, and Flity. That’s at plus 950. Paveet is another guy. He’s real I mean, he can be shaky at times. He’s one of those guys who can be inefficient, but he’s been going deep into games. He’s been getting strikeouts, doing what he needs to do for the Padres’s. I expect more of the same today. I’m going to take those sevenks from uh Paveta. This game does kind of feel like an under to me. Both pitchers able to get out. I don’t I wish it was eight, but I I’m curious to think what you what you think on this total here, Corby. Yeah, I would lean towards a Reds team total under. I made this number a little bigger for the Padres’s. I Yeah, I mean, it might be the least hot of takes, but man, this Padres’s team is so good. Like, from an expected batting average standpoint, they have basically nine guys in the top 10 percentile of hitting the baseball. All of them hit it hard. All of them have a high exit vo. Like, they have the bats. Um, playing at Petco obviously doesn’t help run. So, a Red’s team total, honestly, I’m I’m going to price this while you talk, but um a Red’s team total under wouldn’t wouldn’t be the worst bet in the world. We’ve seen them kind of fall off the cliff, give up their playoff aspirations, and uh our World Series tickets look pretty bad now. But, um yeah, I mean, I I I I don’t want to buy into like this Padres’s idea that they can somehow win the whole thing, but like this team is unbelievable. probably the best seven eight n uh hitters in the league. If you look at their lineup and go seven, eight, nine, I think it’s in my view, it’s one of the best uh in the league. What do you think on this one? Kenny Padres’s keep rolling. Redsky falling. What do you got? I don’t know. We’re talking 789, man. I don’t know. Harrison Bader, Brandon Marsh, Bryson Scott might have might have something to say about that. I mean, I mean, dude, Harrison Bader, I guess that this guy was just born to be a Philly, so we can talk about him a little later. Um yeah. Yeah, this this is a weird one. I I I debated uh again another another uh righty that just seems to love lefties is Raone Lauraniano. I thought about doing something with him. I thought the price could be a little better, so I didn’t do it. Um I bet it’s been weird, right? Because you look at him obviously he he pitches for the Reds, so he’s pitching at home in one of the most hitter friendly parks on Earth. And over the last two years, and especially this year, like his home and away splits are like the opposite of what you expect. He has way better numbers at home in that hitter friendly ballpark than he does on the road. And he just the dude has just been getting shelled on the road. And he’s coming off, you know, probably his worst home start of the year. Got got tattooed by the Mets. Last road start got on by the Diamondbacks. Last road start before that was a little shaky against the Cubs. So I just don’t trust him anywhere other than Great American Park. So this would be something with the Padres’s or or nothing. I just I I I couldn’t find, you know, a price combination that I liked enough. But this would be Padres’s or nothing. I I think so, too. What do you Corby, did you find what you’re looking for there? Red’s team total. What do you think? No, I was trying to poke around at like some kind of fun way to play this. Um I haven’t found a price that’s good enough. I could keep clicking, but as of now, I haven’t found something. So, I was thinking like a Reds team total Padres’s run line um SGP, but it it pays 173, so don’t really care to do that. Let’s see if I can keep poking real quick. Yeah, I mean you could like this is uh this is in in the weeds and it’s not going to give you the greatest price, but it won’t be on the show because it’s just too much to ask behind the scenes, but on on uh on your sports book, you can do Red’s team total under three and a half, Padres’s team total over three and a half, and the Padres’s minus one and a half run line get plus 240. Basically, those other two have to happen. You can’t you can’t win, you can’t lose all three. So, I there’s a ton of correlation, probably a pretty good price. If you can get like a boost for like three legs, it’s a really good uh way to play that. I love the correlate, but it’s also the reason my record’s like night negative 17. A lot of correlation can go really wrong really fast and you’re next thing you know, you lose one thing, you’re losing three things. But for purposes of the show, we are locking in Nick Paveta as the final leg of the Blazing Sevens parlay along with Flity and Peralta. And that’s at plus 950. I wonder [Music] [Music]
