Okay, it’s the third and final game of this series between these two teams. Toronto took game one four to three. We’re still waiting on the outcome of uh of game two on Wednesday. Very important series for both of these teams. They’re each leading their respective divisions, but Toronto is making a push to win the American League overall. And Houston is fighting to hold on to the top spot of a very tight AL West. on this mound or on the mound for this one. It’ll be Christian Javier for the Astros and Kevin Gosman for Toronto. Javier is only on a six uh six start of the season. In his first five, he has a 443 erra. He does have a couple solid outings in there, but his efficiency and depth is of a concern. He’s only averaging four innings an outing at the moment through those five. It’s not that the Astros bullpin has been bad, but you just can’t trust that Javier is going to get the team into the sixth or even fifth inning. So, that is something to consider. Now, the Jays will have their ace on the mound with Gauzeman. He’s been throwing great. He’s a 273 RA in his last five starts, but the offense has not been backing him up because in those five games, Toronto has only won one of them. He has faced the Astros once this season already, and they did get after him a little bit, but I’m actually not too concerned about it. That was back in April, and he has been far better in the second half of the season than he was in the first half. His RA was 419 pre- all-star break, and since then, it’s been 259. Though the Blue Jays bats have failed Gossman recently. Entering Wednesday’s game, they were hitting 317 verse right-handed pitching. So, I think they can get after Javier in this one and take a win at home to wrap up this series. So, give me the Jays on the money line for today’s free pick in this one.
