Cam Ward is still that dude 🔥
There is legitimate reason to be encouraged if you’re a Titans fan in how Cam Ward performed, which is a wild thing to say considering how many times he was sacked and the lack of productivity from the Titans offense. But there’s just that that factor to Cam Ward. What did you see from him? How has he responded to what I’m sure was a disappointing week one? Anytime you lose a football game, you’re going to be disappointed. Uh, but it is the beginning of a rookie season that I think should have Titans fans feeling optimistic about what this could turn into with Cam. Well, looking at all the national analysts, the the raves over Cam Ward, you’d think he threw for three touchdowns and 300 yards on Sunday. I mean, they’re like, look at how he’s getting the ball out. Look at his composure. How did he see uh Calvin Ridley running this way when he’s under pressure here? The reviews outside have been amazing. Now, the stats, not great, Bob. 112 yards passing, six sacks. But what he said yesterday, his demeanor is incredibly calm. I mean, you know, for a rookie quarterback, he’s like, you know, he was asked yesterday, it’s like, how do you, you know, how do you handle, you know, a loss versus a win? Is it any different? And he’s like, no, there’s another game to play. And, you know, I’m not going to get on the receivers who drop passes because I’m going to get picked off. you know, the sacks.
