  1. Manny is playing really good, huh? He’s such a superstar and reliable. Great leader. Upstanding guy and has always played clean baseball. So clutch too. So glad the guys have someone to look up to. And the way he chews gum and blows bubbles after a strikeout is MLB The Show cover material.

  2. If I was press, I would ask why shidt would he tell Merrill to bunt with 2 on and no outs…when he’s been one of the hotter hitter in the lineup? Risk getting my credential revoked? Like wtf?

  3. The division is still too close to call in my opinion. Yes my Dodgers took care of business with the Rockies, but we’re talking about baseball and any and everything is possible. So don’t give up yet on your Padres….yet. Let’s see how the weekend goes. If LA can manage a series win in SF or even better, a sweep then you guys might be in real trouble.

  4. This team is unwatchable, Victor needs to be fired ASAP.. I'm pissed i bought tickets for a game this weekend… this team will be smoked in WC round. No offense, shitty manager, Inconsistent pitching

  5. Did we trade six minor leaguers at the deadline for Laureano and Mason McCoy, or Laureano and O’Hearn? Somebody might want to remind Shildt! The fact that O’Hearns spot in the lineup made the final out is comical. Mason McCoy should NEVER be in a close game. This offense and Shildt need to clean it up ASAP.

  6. Shildt is a joke. He outmanages hinself and because of his stupid moves is stuck with johnson to try and save the game! What a joke! Ive also heard from someone in the know that the clubhouse is in shambles. Lots of drama.

  7. A thought, as much as I would love to see a hit to bring in the 2nd run. In your opinion J & J, would you have Iglesias bunt so Merrill's fly ball would have scored the run? Appreciate all you guys do. šŸ‘Š

  8. Preller sold the future to win today. If that don’t work it’s going to be ugly for the padres. No one left to come up in a few years, you
Have guys signed well into their 40s with untradeable contracts .2027-2028 this team will be in huge trouble.

  9. I'm a blue fan. Why is the division lost. Only 3 games. SD is stacked, they can turn it around. They have rockies coming up, while LA has SF and philly next. Not done at all
