Chicago Cubs fans are CHECKED OUT
I just find this season so bizarre. Like, this is going to be the weirdest 90 plus win team we see. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this. I’m curious how older fans feel about this team compared to other teams in the past because I grew up being extremely excited about a Cubs team that was making the playoffs or was in line to make the playoffs. It’s just so weird to me right now seeing like so many fans checked out as if this team’s not making the playoffs.
Despite owning the 4th best record in baseball, it feels like Cubs fans are checked out in mid-September. Agree or disagree?

2016 ruined the Cubs forever more. They will make the playoffs, be eiliminated quickly and the charm of the "lovable losers – always hoping for 'next year' " no longer applies. The Cubs and their fans deserve each other. Go Sox!!! (LOL – yeah theres a lot of anger here!)
