Why is Peralta the guy we decide to have go multiple innings? In fact, whats with the absolute insistence on only allowing relievers go one? It’s not new, but Montgomery’s bullpen management is horrendous.
Worst 9/11 ever
Live by Trout, die by Trout.
His ABs in the clutch/late innings all year have been abysmal.
GIDP on ball 3 against a guy who can’t find the zone just can’t happen. Lost the game on that.
Glad we play 12 inning for that shit
Thank you Ray so good
Lugo isn’t ready for primetime yet. His outfield defense is incredibly sus.
Pathetic. That’s all. Chances to play spoiler and they can’t get that done either.
Watch everyone criticise the bullpen management when the 7 (!!) relievers we used are a large part of the reason we even got to the 12th
Shitty ending but it is what it is
im so fucking SICK of this guy managing dude, he has to go after this season
Angels fucking suck
Why was teodosio taken out? Why weren’t they using Chafin?
At least we can no longer see the Astros on top of AL west today
Hey, our bargain bin team faught just as hard as a team vying for first in the division. It sucks how it ended, there were some mistakes, but they showed a lot of fight and avoided what looked like was going to be a total blowout.
Yes, our bullpen is spent but their bullpen has gone through two days worth of extra innings so at least they’re worse off.
Yeah, we lost, but I’m a newer baseball fan and.. is this why the Mariners have never won anything? That was a genuinely abysmal performance by them against a team they’re supposed to be significantly better than. Like, truly sloppy baseball. Do they know they’re fighting to tie the division lead? Are they always this close to choking the wins they get? So many questions
Their team of All Stars barely beat our team with half the team being back-ups and waiver wire pick-ups at their home in the 12th inning. Says more about their team than ours.
It’s rough out in these streets when you gotta rely on Sammy Peralta.
Eh, it is what it is…we aren’t a good team, they are. We go again
I’m upset, but not that upset. it was a good fight, im proud of them.
Trout! 1 HR away from 400 let’s do it
It’s okay to be mad but aside from the angels not scoring more than 1 run in extra innings, you really can’t be mad at anything.
Bullpen management was good
Defense from Bryce was fantastic
First baseman did great
Trout homer
Offense caught up
Nolan and Jo in this game changes it
This all goes back to having a quality starter. This shit happens to often
Sad outcome but Trout finally ended his HR drought and we had a lot of fight. We are usually spoilers for the mariners in their post-season run up.
