  3. Nothing in baseball hits quite the same as a Stanton Dong. Such a weird and violent swing that absolutely demolishes balls.

  4. I don’t know. One time I met Stanton at a popular SoHo nightclub, and he accidentally bumped into me and made me spill my drink. Not knowing who he was, I screamed, “Hey, watch where you’re going, fucker!” He turned around and saw I had beer all down my shirt, and at the same time I realized it was Stanton. He apologized profusely, and I accepted it, and he invited me to sit at his table and we chatted all night. Eventually, he invited me back to his place and I accepted, and we got there, and I watched him open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur.

  10. The comparison between how his at bats look when he hits a HR vs a strikeout is insane. Watching the strikeouts you’d think the dude isn’t able to hit a volleyball. Then this happens.

  17. Sometimes I cringe at his swings at low and away sliders but when a pitcher fucks up and leaves one in the zone it’s almost an automatic HR.

  29. I feel like he plays better when he’s angry. This was clearly a don’t get swept at home dinger.
