NBA LIVE! Golden State Warriors vs LA Clippers September 12, 2025 Warriors vs Clippers 2K Preseason

ers Collins at power forward. Zubots in the middle. Beal and Kawhai operate together on the wings and it’s Harden in at the one. Lots of basketball savvy vets on the floor tonight. Grant, these guys know the game inside and out. Well, the IQ is so high on both sides. You know, BA, you expect to see lots of intelligent play and I always get excited to see teams with this much experience. Peele rebounded by Butler and it’s Butler with the ball for the Warriors. Here’s Green. It’s rebounded by Zubots. Leonard on the wing. Moody defends. Collins. No good. I thought he had that. I think he did too. Butler surveying the floor. just five to shoot. Moody from outside. Can’t get his first shot of the game to fall. And let’s send it over to Alli Leforce. Tyron Lou gave me a few minutes to catch up with him. We talked about the mindset needed when squaring off against Jimmy Butler. And coach said Jimmy is a firecracker. You don’t want to set him off or he could explode in your face. I told our guys just to focus on the game and not give any extra motivation out there. We’ll see if they prevent Butler from popping off. Back over to UVA and Ally. Thanks, Leonard. Right side. Kicks it out to Collins. Pass to Beal. And it’s going to be a 3second call. The Warriors have gone 0 for three from the floor to begin this one. Outside Moody. Here’s Green. [Applause] Butler up top. Collins defending outside. Green. Clock at six. Outside for Butler. And again, it’s the Warriors missing for Los Angeles. They’ve gone one for three so far. Field. The pass to Harden. And the foul called on Brandon Pajimki. That’s his first foul. [Applause] Outside Harden on the take. Shot clock at six. Pass to Collins over Butler. And you know Butler is known for being a lock down defender and he doesn’t back up at all. Refuses to give an inch. [Applause] First quarter of basketball just over two and a half minutes played so far [Applause] outside Green. Golden State needs to get off a shot. Curry from deep three-point land and that misses. That would have put him up. No doubt Stephen Curry is the best shooter of all time. Talk about what makes him special. Well, BA, he can hit shots under the most difficult circumstances offbalance with only a sliver of daylight. And this is why teams often choose to double him the moment he crosses half court. Smart move by Kawhai using the pump fake to draw the foul. You think back to the prime years of Kawhai Leonard Clark, he was absolutely dominant. Yeah, he really was. I mean, so few wings could dominate the way Kawhai did when he was healthy and in his prime. I mean, he could score at all three levels, especially in that mid-range game. Absolutely lethal. And then defensively, he was u a stopper. He would just turn people’s water off. In his peak, he was as good as any two-way player we’ve had in the league. Grant, the Clippers were finally healthy in the playoffs last season, but it still wasn’t quite enough. Yeah, but they gave us a dramatic sevengame series against the Nuggets, who then went on to push OKC to seven games. So even if it wasn’t the outcome the Clips wanted, still a heck of a season. That misses. So he splits the free throws. You know, when you talk Kawhi Leonard, you start with his defense and I don’t know if there’s a better wing defender around. [Applause] Butler against Collins outside Pajki. Green with a screen on Beal. Here’s Pajki and the Warriors miss again. And he probably thought he was going to bury that one though. Pass to Collins. Nice ball movement by Los Angeles. Here’s Leonard. And once again, off the mark by Los Angeles. They still need this outside. Moody. And here is Green. Green. A screen. Vajimky. Ooh. Can’t tie it up as that one’s no good. And the defense got away with one there. I mean, that’s a shot he typically makes. [Applause] Harden surveying the D. Pass to Leonard from 11 ft away. Warriors with the rebound. Trying to find a spark here. Yes, indeed. A rough stretch offensively. They could really use a basket. Back to Moody now. Here’s Green. Here’s Pajki outside. Curry. Puts up a deep three and James Harden pulls it down. The Clippers lead by three. Collins a screen. Harden. The pass to Collins. It’s good off the assist from Harden. Well, you got to admire the precise passing of Harden. All he needs is a little crack to thread the needle. Pass to Pajimski. And here is Green. Left side. Curry. It’s rebounded by Zubots. Zubots has got rebound number five here tonight. Leonard passes to Zubots. Collins outside. Leonard inside, defended by Pachimsky. Shot by Leonard. No good. And it’s Green with the ball for the Warriors. Still without a basket in the game. Outside. Curry. Shoots over Harden. That’s good from Curry on the assist by Green off a pass. Steph Curry. That one is always going in or almost always going in. Leonard finds Beal. Back to Leonard. Pass to Harden. Jacks up a three. Pajimky grabs the board. Warriors trail by three. Now here’s Curry defended by Harden. And it’s Stephen Curry with the three. Curry’s got five points. That’s Curry’s game. I mean, you can’t give him a sliver of daylight out there. Zubox with a screen on Curry. Green against Harden. Leonard for three. Here’s Zubox. And count the basket. He was fouled. And he’s going to the line for one more. Los Angeles shooting their third free throw attempt of the game. Done. He’s checked in for Collins. The Warriors also with a sub. He’s checked in. Find the lanes. One shot. [Applause] Warriors trail by three now. Curry. Five points in the game. goes up on the wing. The Clippers grab the miss and the defense gets bailed out by the miss. He usually converts that pass to Harden. Be surveying the D down low and it’s slammed in by Zubox attacking the rim with power. Tremendous finish. Really piling on the lead with a dunk like that. Now here’s Curry. Green finds Heel. Outside Curry out to Heel. This one for three and it’s good. Assisting on the play was Curry. Confidence oozing from the corner shot. Heel staying true from deep. Right here. Right here. Beal outside. Pass to Leonard. [Applause] Five to shoot. Oh, nice finish from the low block. That was good. And the Clippers lead by four. Skilled at getting inside and doing work down there. Kawhi Leonard is a confidence. Butler passes to Moody. Outside. Curry outside. Butler. Let’s go with a three. And the Warriors with another three. Seems to me like Butler is just always in rhythm and under control. His next shot is never far away. And so Ty Louu calls a timeout and we might see some changes. Coach potentially looking to adjust. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] And the Clippers making a change here. Batons checked in. [Applause] Outside Harden done outside. Shot clock at five. Pass to Leonard. Fires the three. Here’s Zubox. Drops in the layup for two. Zubox has got seven points in the game. And you like the balance here. Not just falling in love with the three ball. Scream by Post. Here’s Hee outside. Kaminga. Here’s Butler. Come get it. Out of bounds. It’ll go to the Clippers. So for the Clippers, Brook Lopez has checked in for Zubots and it’s Beal in for Leonard. Jackson Davis has checked in for the Warriors. Here’s Harden. No points yet. Come on, let’s go. Pass to Lopez. Launches it. Knocks it down from distance. And the Clippers lead by six. Part of Brook Lopez’s value is his ability to space the floor, especially as a big guy. Back to Heel. The basket drops and he gets fouled on the shot. One free throw coming his way. This is why you put the ball in his hands. An accurate pass hitting a moving target. And he’ll be shooting his first free throw. Yeah. You know, that was one spot where they didn’t have to worry about him at all. I mean, at the free throw line, he was automatic. [Applause] and the free throw. No good. Everybody knows about how Buddy Heield is an incredible three-point threat, but what I love, here’s a guy with a bunch of years playing 80 or more games. Love that durability. He’s ready to go whenever they call his name. Now, here’s Butler. Oh, they moved. Six to shoot. Outside heel takes a three. Rebounded by Lopez. Los Angeles leading by four. Pass to Beal. The three. Jackson Davis grabs the miss. That’s staying connected to the shooter and timing the contest. All right, on the line we’ve got our insider Shams Terronia. What do you have for us, Shams? Thanks, guys. Well, a new start for Bradley V with the Clippers. He’d resisted trades from Phoenix last season with his no trade calls, but easy to see why he’d welcome joining this team. A ton of veteran talent and after trading away Norm Powell, there was a real need for his talent. They’re happy to have him. All right, CHS, appreciate the report. Time now to hear from our reporter Ally Leforce. Thank you guys. The Clippers are remaining competitive even with some shifting pieces in their roster. Star play creator James Harden said quote, “We’re legit and our defense is really good. Offensively, we know what we want to get to and we hang our hats on the defensive end.” Guys, back over to you. A heavy veteran roster. Ally Leforce with the report. Thanks, Ally. And then Harden with the jam. Harden is sneaky with that ferocious dunking ability of his. You can tell he enjoys throwing it down with power. Outside, Kaminga fires the three. Another three for Golden State. Defensively, you have to stay connected to him on the perimeter. About 3 seconds between the shot clock and the game clock. [Applause] Harden. The pass to Dunn. Back to Harden. Nice ball movement by Los Angeles. Be outside. from downtown. Can’t hit that one. So, at the end of one quarter of play, still a close game. It’s Los Angeles. They lead by one. And the second quarter about to get started. We’ll be back in a moment. [Applause] And if you’re just joining us, it’s been a pretty even game through the first quarter. And what do you guys think so far about the offensive approach for the Clippers? Well, great play down low. I mean, you expect the defense to adjust, collapse maybe, but that should open up things on the perimeter later in the game. They’ve also displayed a real unselfishness as a team, moving the basketball well, sharing the rock and giving everybody a chance to participate in the offense. We’ve got Bogdan Bdanovich. Chris Dunn is out there with Bradley Beal. Then there’s Nicholas Batum. And it’s Lopez in at the center position. That’s the group for the Clippers starting the second. Now here’s Beal. Pass to Lopez. The Clippers got to hurry. Late clock here. Off target from outside. The Warriors leading. Heel passes to Curry. Outside. Heel. Takes the three. rebounded by Dunn. Given his range, you’d expect him to capitalize on that opening. And here’s Beal. Back to Dun beyond the arc. That one falls coming off Beal’s feet. Beal’s got three assists in the game. Boy, how about Chris Dunn getting the ball in a great spot, making the deep attempt look elemental. And here’s Curry for three. Fourth three. Stephen Curry. This is just fun. These teams are trading threes back and forth. Nothing like answering back. One team gets three, you fire three of your own. Boom. Pass to Batum. Lets it go from deep. Rebounded by Heield. Golden State has gone one of two from deep in the second quarter. [Applause] Outside Curry [Applause] outside Kuminga from behind the ark. It’s hauled in by the Clippers. Batum with it now. Guarded by Curry. Pogdanovich from long range. Always a nice way to start. Makes his first one. When Bodon is set in the corner, feed him. He loves those shots. can make him in his sleep outside. Curry the three ball. Matum pulls it in. The Clippers in the lead. Pass to Dun. [Music] Beal outside. The three and the Clippers hit again from deep. Beal’s got such a fluid shooting motion. It really helps him on those catch and shoot opportunities. Now here’s Curry defended by Dunn. Curry passes to Heel. Outside Curry right side. Kaminga. There’s the three. Offensive rebound. It’s hard not to want payback when you give up a three at the other end, but it can force you to rush things. Bdonovich no good. Warriors trail by five. and Grant Stephen Curry said his goal was to play meaningful basketball games. With the arrival of Jimmy Butler, that proved to be the case. Yeah, the Warriors have been looking to get Steph some help. The fit with Jimmy was questioned, but it’s worked out better than most people expected. Some changes for Los Angeles. John Collins comes in for Batum, and it’s Harden in for Bdonovich. Greens checked in for the Warriors. Pajimky comes in for Jackson Davis. And so Ty Louu calls a timeout. I think right now he might be looking at some adjustments. [Applause] Heat up [Applause] here. Heat. [Applause] Heat. [Applause] done outside. Nice ball movement by Los Angeles. [Applause] Pass to Collins from deep and again it’s Clippers missing. Really good shot contest there and made it tough for the shooter. [Applause] Outside heel, lets the three fly. Bradley Beal with a rebound. And this is exactly who you want taking that shot. He just missed it. Harden against Curry. Back to Harden. Six on the shot clock. Here’s Dun. And once again off the mark by Los Angeles. Pass to Pajimsky. Now here’s Curry to stop the drought. Brains the triple. Curry’s got six points in the quarter. And the shooting mechanics of Curry, they are as pure as anybody who’s ever played. He’s such a dangerous shooter and scorer. Now here’s Harden. Five points in the game and the Clippers miss again. Pass to Pajimsky. Back to Curry from deep. It’s hauled in by the Clippers. Now Harden right here. Beal outside. And here’s Lopez for three. The shot. No good. Outside PJsky. Pass to Curry. Here’s Green outside. Heel. Right side. Curry. The three is up. He can’t get it to go. He’s letting it fly, but the results just have not been there. And the foul called on Draymond Green. That’s his first foul of the game. And so Ty Louu calls a timeout. Coach taking this moment to speak to his guys, maybe alter some of the game plan. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] Leonard’s checked in for the Clippers. Bogdan Baganovich comes in for Dunn. Jimmy Butler’s checked in for the Warriors. Moody comes in for healed. [Applause] Golden State on D. Trailing by two. Pardon from outside. Rebounded by Green. Green’s got his fifth rebound in this one. Pass to Pajimsky. 43. the offensive rebound. That one is off. Los Angeles shooting just 38% for this game so far. Leonard fires for three and Harden gets it to go on the assist by Leonard. Harden’s got eight points. Well, Grant, when you watch an NBA game today, do you wish you played in this era? Oh, no doubt. It’s a lot more open and there’s a greater emphasis on skill and player health. Oh, and by the way, those checks aren’t too bad either. Los Angeles leading by five. Leonard passes to Collins and it goes as the official calls the foul. Count it and he’ll shoot one more at the line. And in the big market of Los Angeles with a sparkling new arena, Grant, the Clippers are confident they’ll be able to attract star talent. Well, the expectation is they’ll continue to compete with Harden and Kawaii and then in a few years perhaps time to make some big moves. Heels checked in for Curry. Free throw is good from Collins. And it’s Butler with the ball for the Warriors. Eight-point game. Pass to Moody. Bdanovich against Heel over Bdanovic. And the Warriors miss again. And here are the Clippers now. They lead by eight. Biggest lead of the game. Outside Harden and here’s Leonard guarded by Heield. There’s Bdonovich with the three. The Warriors pull it in. He’s got four rebounds in the game. Offensively, it’s been a struggle for him. Yeah, they need to string together some shots to have any kind of chance. Three-pointer off the mark. You kind of wonder where his head’s at. The shot selection hasn’t been there. And of course, that one was just crazy. Outside Harden three-pointer. Pajimsky grabs the board. Warriors trail by eight. Pass to Butler. Outside PJsky. Back to Butler. Out to Heel. Five on the clock. Here’s Pachenski. Rebounded by Kawhi Leonard. Leonard’s got four rebounds in the game. Pass to Harden. Back to Leonard. Here’s Collins. A chance to push it to double digits, but it’s off the mark. Butler passes to Heel. [Applause] Now Pajimski. Heel. The screen on Harden [Applause] outside for Green to get back on track. It’s rebounded by Los Angeles. Collins has got four rebounds now. Leonard with the ball now. Pajimsky defending outside. Bogdanovich. It’s good. And the assist that time from Leonard. Bdonovich has got five points in the quarter. This speaks to the level of confidence Bogdanovich possesses. Looking to shoot immediately off the catch. And Steve Kerr wants a timeout. We might see him looking to make some tweaks to the strategy. [Music] This is going to take patience check. [Music] Oh yeah. [Music] your back and all that like this is going to take you slow in it might take. [Applause] So for the Clippers, Ivita Zubat checked in for Lopez and it’s Bradley Beal in for Bdanovich. [Applause] And the Warriors with possession here, trailing by 10 [Music] to the paint. Can they get it? The shot by Butler. No good. Well, the Clippers shooting 35% on the second so far. Outside, Harden launches a three and the rebound goes to the Warriors here in the second quarter. He’s been cold from distance. I think he may need to adjust his approach. Green with a screen on field outside. Green off target with the three. The Clippers lead by 10. Harden finds Beal. Collins outside. Butler against Harden. Here’s Collins. And Collins with the slam. Whoa. Did you see that? John Collins. Little bit of sauce on that slam. Of all the accolades James Harden has racked up, what do you think he’ll be most remembered for, Clark? You mean aside from his beard, which is pretty impressive as well as his game. I mean, I think his scoring ability, the way he did it, he was one of the first to really kind of master that step back three against good defense. His ability to get to the rim, draw fouls, and make plays for others. I think all of that is part of what we will remember about James Harden. A chance here to catch up with Ally from the sideline. Thanks a lot, Brian. James Harden is very comfortable at the controls of the Clippers offense and coach Tyoo said he sees the game how I see it from a point guard’s point of view, a coach’s point of view. How teams are playing us defensively, how we can capitalize and take advantage of it. Back to you, VA. A tremendous IQ. All right, Ally, thanks a lot. Now, here’s Pajki outside heel pass to Green. Now here’s Moody. Here’s the three. It’s rebounded by Zubox. Zubox has got rebound number eight now. Be outside. Now Leonard three-pointer. They get it back. Zubox and it’s slammed in by Zubox. And I just love how he’s making the effort plays that everyone around him appreciates. It is certainly making an impact tonight. Well, you know, if you’re not going to take care of the defensive glass, it’s going to be hard to come away with the win. And so, it’s Los Angeles closing out the quarter ahead by 11 points. They’ve been aggressive in transition and find themselves in front. Well, now a minute to check in with Ally Leforce. She’s courtside. Hey, Ally. Thanks so much, guys. Zoo, a strong first half for this team. What was the mindset that gave you guys the lead? We just had to be ourselves, you know, just be ourselves, move the ball, place the unselfish, and uh we’re going to get oursel an offense. Stay true to you guys. Ally, as always, thank you. We’ll be back right after the break for the third quarter here on 2K Sports. [Applause] Heat. [Applause] [Applause] Heat. [Applause] And as we dive into the second half, we’ll find out if the next two quarters are any different from the first two. So far, it’s been a runaway. Man, it’s been quite a game for Stephen Curry. Well, if he’s hit threes like he did in the first half, he’s going to have a monster night. Yeah. You know what? The defense is going to adjust. They’ll be ready for him now. So, I’m sure they talked a lot about how to slow him down. [Applause] And so, it’s Curry with it. He brings it up for Golden State. 11-point game. Kicking off the second half. Here’s Steve Curr’s five down low. It’ll be the tenacious pair of Butler and Draymond. Curry and Pods pairing up in the back court. And it’s Moody in at the small forward. The Clippers shooting about 41%. Pass to Collins. Leonard outside. [Applause] Shoots a fade away. It’s rebounded by Jimmy Butler. Butler’s got his fifth rebound in this one. And here’s Curry. And a great assist by Butler as that one goes. Curry’s got 14. This is exactly the kind of unique range that Curry has. I mean, as soon as he crosses half court, you got to get up on it. Pass to be [Applause] back to Leonard. A deep three. Here’s Zubox. And that one drops. He’s got 11. Boy, his activity on the glass so valuable to this team. Outside PJsky. And here’s Butler outside. Another three for Golden State. Perhaps not the forte of Butler’s game, but he does have the range to hurt you from the perimeter. Collins outside. Nice ball movement by Los Angeles. Zubat the screen out to the right wing. The three is up. They get the rebound. Oh, a clear foul there on the missed shot. So, he’ll get a pair at the line. And you know, under the circumstances, that’s a good foul. You just can’t let him have that throw down. This is his second trip to the line in the game. [Applause] No good on the free throw. Make sure you get the and he sinks the second. And we’re just about two minutes into the second half now. Warriors trail by eight. Curry passes to Green. Outside Butler. [Applause] And here’s Curry for three. Rebound by the Clippers. Leonard’s got his fifth rebound in this one. Here’s Beal. Gets it to fall from the right block. Seven points for Bradley Beal. His position might be shooting guard, but Beal has no problems taking it inside. The three from Curry and that one’s good. And Green with the assist. Their strategy has been pretty simple here in the second half. Attack from three-point range. Certainly. I mean, they saw a weakness in the perimeter defense and took advantage of it. And so, Tyoo calls a timeout. He’s going to gather the troops and talk it over. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Just over two and a half minutes gone by in the second half. Outside Harden kicks it out to Collins. Leonard passes to Beal. He hits it just before the shot clock expires. Bill’s got four points in the quarter. Such a tough guard. I mean, Bill mixing it up inside. Coming out on top in that battle. Outside for Green. Puts up a three. Good. And Butler gets the assist. Butler’s got his fourth assist in this one. Great work collapsing the defense then kicking it out. Pass to Leonard. [Applause] It’s Beiel on the wing. Offensive board and it’s slammed in by Zubox. Oh, nothing soft about that. Was not going to be denied. Just took the dunk that was right in front of him. Well, you know, if nobody’s going to put a body on him, then that’s going to be the result. Pass to Butler outside. Curry over Harden again. Golden State. Huge night for Curry in a great rhythm thus far. That’s always bad news for the team he’s facing. Zubox screen. Outside Harden to the inside out to Leonard from the ark. Here’s Zubox and it’s a big finish right on Draymond Green. Oh my goodness. Can you say immediate entry into the highlight reel? What a tough PA. It’s showtime now, man. They built up a lead and they’re starting to rub it in. And why not? A little salt in the room. The more plays they make like that, the more they’ll have these guys reeling and on the ropes. Offensive rebound. Oh, Green with a block. Green takes great pride in his defense now. He loves the nine shots at the rim and playing bigger than his 68 frame would lead you to believe. Curry against Harden. Pass to Pajimsky. Outside Curry. There’s the triple. Curry with another miss. The Clippers lead by 10. Here’s Beal [Applause] to the middle. Tipped. It’s stolen by Green. Butler passes to Green. Fires from deep. That’s good from Curry on the assist from Green. Curry’s got 22. Part of Draymond’s value, the playmaking he gives you out of the front court. Now here’s Leonard. Tightly guarded. Got a piece of it. Oh, and a fast break for the Warriors. Butler soarses in the to cap off the break. Blazing speed on display from Butler. Superb at finding a way to get behind the defense in transition and taking what he gets. Beal outside. Zubox screen from outside the arch. Be no good. Warriors trail by five. Moody passes to Butler outside. Curry puts up a deep three. The Clippers grab the miss. They held a 12-point lead earlier. Field. The pass to Harden. Collins right side. Green against Sububox. Shot clock at six. Harden from outside fires in the triple. Harden’s got 11 points. Capable of doing great damage from outside. For Harden, I think it’s simply about shooting with confidence. And Steve Kerr wants a timeout. Coach probably just checking to make sure everybody’s on the same page here. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Heat. [Applause] Heat. [Applause] Done. He’s checked in for the Clippers. The Warriors also with a sub. Heels checked in for Moody. [Applause] Butler on the wing. Tries to keep it alive and it goes out of bounds. Last touch by Butler. [Applause] And it’s Beal with the ball for the LA Clippers. They’re leading by eight. Zubox with a screen on heel. Beal finds Zubox and he gets it to go. And trust me, when the D’s slow to react, he’ll be the first guy to make them pay. Boy, the defense looks shell shocked. I mean, they’re on the ropes right now on their heels. And a moment now to quickly take a look at the offensive approach for the Clippers. Well, you know, their offensive rebounding throughout this one has been clutch, timely. I mean, it’s kept the ball out of the enemy’s hands and gotten them lots of second chance points. That’s a winning recipe. They’ve also been showing us standout play on the fast break, working as a team to create easy opportunities. Here’s Butler outside for Green. The three is up. Good. And Butler gets the assist. Butler’s got five assists in the game. You’ve got to respect Green at the arc. If he gets open out there, he can make you pay. Get stolen by Heel. Inside. Here’s Green over the defense. Green gets it to go inside. Coaches love to see ball movement, especially when it gets you that kind of look. Heel outside. There’s no Back to Harden. Pass to Zubox. Zubox screen. Clock at six. And there’s a whistle. He’ll head to the line to shoot two. That one on healed. He’s made three or four free throw attempts in this game. And because he struggled with his free throw shooting so much last season, I thought he was hesitant at times to be aggressive. Wasn’t looking to draw contact and was trying to avoid getting to the foul line. He misses the free throw. And some changes here for the Warriors. Post is checked in for Draymond Green. And it’s Kaminga in for Stephen Curry. [Applause] And that trip coming up empty, missing both. Warriors trail by six. Here’s Butler. Butler goes for it inside. Easy to see why Butler gets so much respect for his competitiveness. I mean, he thrives at finishing through contact. [Applause] Leonard looking over the floor. Just five on the clock. Back to Beal. There’s the three. Rebounded by Heel. He’s got five rebounds tonight. No question this offense has some firepower and they’re looking very confident in all that they’re doing right now. Nice ball movement by Los Angeles. Beal outside. Out to Leonard looking to win this cold spell. Good work defensively by Post. Aggressive mindset, but the defender just as determined to send him away empty-handed. Dominga shot is off. The Clippers lead by four. Pass to Dun. And here’s Zubatz. Up top, Harden. He’s got 11. Back to Zubots. Here’s Dunn and he can’t stop the drown. Another miss. Warriors trail by four. And here’s Kaminga for three. Kawhi Leonard comes up with a rebound. And there’s a minute 45 left in the third. And count that. Two points and a chance for one more at the line. an incredibly strong player. Leonard able to convert through the contact. He shot two free throws in the games, made one and miss one. Yeah, those were fine numbers he posted um at the line. It was hard to find fault with anything he did from the strike. Here’s what Los Angeles is going with right now. Lopez comes in for Zubatz and Batum is subbed in for James Harden. [Applause] And for the Warriors, they’re shooting nearly 60% from the floor in the third. Heel finds Butler. A minute 29 left in the third quarter. Six to shoot. Heel from outside. Knocks down the triple. He’s got 11. Quite simply, one of the best three-point shooters in this game. That’s Buddy Heel. [Applause] Beal outside. [Applause] Leonard passes to Batum. Now Lopez [Applause] back to Batum. Done outside. Counted from distance. He has six. When you find some room, take advantage. Rise up and fire. Pass the post. left side healed outside Butler. There’s the triple rebounded by Lopez. Lopez has got four rebounds in the game. 9 seconds separating the shot clock and game clock. Leonard for three. Oh, and another three for the Clippers. Claw getting rid of it in a hurry. Nice quick release that time. And it’s Butler with the ball for the Warriors. Trailing by 10. [Applause] [Applause] off target from the baseline. And here at the end of the third, it’s a doubledigit ball game. It’s Los Angeles up by 10. Don’t go anywhere. The final quarter is coming up next on 2K Sports. [Applause] With three quarters behind us, let’s see what this fourth period holds in store. The Clippers lead by 10. It’s Collins at power forward with Lopez at center. Harden and Dunn. They man the back court and it’s Bogdanovich in at the three. So that’s the lineup on the floor for the Clippers. Lopez can’t hit and he almost made them regret defending him so loosely. Kuminga the pass to Curry. Back to Kuminga and he’s going to the line for two. The official saw contact while he was going up. [Applause] Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. [Applause] That free throw misses. [Applause] And the second free throw is good. Los Angeles leading by nine. Harden. The pass to Bogdanovich. Back to Harden. And then Harden with the jam. And he just driving the stake in him there. He’s a guy just never lets up. And that’s terribly demoralizing for a defense, guys. I mean, they know he’s going to keep coming and coming and coming and that they may not have an answer for. Curry shot is off. The Clippers shooting around 44%. Not bad. Dunn uses the glass to finish the layup and the Clippers lead by 13. Tell you what, guys, there’s no way you’re stopping Dunn when he’s that close to the hoop. Kaminga down low. Bdonovich on him. Nice shot by Kaminga. Hey, if you give him room, he’s going to score the ball. Outside Harden the three. He can’t hit that time. Warriors trail by 11. Pass to Kaminga. Oh, Kaminga just a menace inside. Excellent feed from Steph Curry. Collins with a screen on Kaminga. Outside. Harden launches it. The Warriors pull it in. Post has got a rebound number five here tonight. The three. That’s good from Curry on the assist by Heel. Curry’s got 25 points. Straight up. Curry is as good as anyone and perhaps the best we’ve seen from three-point range. There’s Bogdanovich with the three. Warriors with the rebound. Jackson Davis has got four rebounds in the game. Pass to Curry for three and James Harden pulls it down. Harden’s got four rebounds now. done with it and it’s heel picking him up and it’s Lopez with the jam. The big fella with the big finish. Lopez rocking that rim on the wing. Curry defended by Harden. The basket counts and one. He’ll go to the line. A chance at a three-point play. This team looks to him to score the ball. They feel good when he’s taking the shots. Pajimskis checked in for Kuminga. One shot [Applause] and that one falls for Curry. When you talk about shot mechanics, Curry is as close as you can get to perfect. I mean, you can tell he puts a lot of work into that part of his game and it pays off. Fires for three, nails it from beyond the ark. Curry’s got 31. With the defense trying to protect the interior, he pulls at the arc and drains it. Pass to Lopez. Now Bdonovic. Back to Lopez. That shot is off. Good work defensively by Post. And Curry’s got the ball here for Golden State. So far in the fourth, they’ve allowed just six points. Now here’s Post covered by Lopez. Six on the shot clock. Curry passes to Heel and he misses the go-ahead basket. Los Angeles has got nothing to fall from outside the arc here in the fourth. 0 for four. Pass to Bdonovic. Back to Harden from behind the arc. Nails it from three. Yes. So much of Harden’s work happens at the top of the key, but he can also work you over from the corners. Warriors trail by five. [Applause] To the inside and post gets it to go. They’ve still got work to do, but it’s impressive how they’ve battled back. I didn’t think it was going to happen for him quite honestly, but they finally turned it on. Turned it up a little bit. Now they’ve got to come up with some stops. And Lopez gets it to go. He is so tough to deal with inside. Lopez just too big and too skilled. [Applause] Here’s Curry. It’s Pajki on the wing. The three-pointer off the mark. Harden against Curry outside. Harden [Applause] done outside from outside off the mark. Warriors trail by five. Outside heel down low and the basket is good. Hey, when you’ve got a laser-like heel that can score it, those assist opportunities just go way up. Collins with a screen on Curry. Harden with it. Pass to Collins. [Applause] Don outside. Sinks it from distance and the Clippers lead by six. Man, what a gorgeous pretty jumper from Dunn and he is a cintillating player who you have to respect from there. And Steve Kerr calls timeout here. He’s decided it’s time to clarify the situation, leaving little room for error. Heat up [Applause] and the Clippers will go for a different look here. Ivita Zubach checked in for Lopez. Matum comes in for Collins. Leonard’s checked in for Bdonovich. And it’s Bradley Beal in for Dunn. A moment to hear from Alli Leforce. During that break, coach Steve Kerr had some advice for the team. He was harping on the number of offensive rebounds that they’ve given up. He told them they have to recommmit to the defensive glass. He said, quote, “We’re not walking away with the W if we don’t box out.” A simple message, guys, but an important one. Appreciate the report, Ally. Inside, Green can be very aggressive and physical, allowing him to do work scoring the ball. Pass to Beal. Nice ball movement by Los Angeles. Leonard inside, defended by Pajki. Nice D from Moody to the middle. Here’s Butler. Not going to go that time. Batum with the defensive effort. Los Angeles leading by four. Outside Harden [Applause] from the ark. Warriors with the rebound. Pass to Moody. Here’s the three. It’s rebounded by Zubox. Zubox has got rebound number 19 now. Incredible board work. The against Curry. The pass to Harden. Now here’s Leonard. The three ball gets rebounded by Jimmy Butler. He didn’t make them pay for that weak defense, but they just can’t rely on him to miss those kind of shots. Pass to Curry. [Applause] Now Moody outside. Green takes a three. Man, a great assist by Butler as that one goes. Butler’s got his seventh assist of the game with that last one. Here’s Leonard. [Applause] Looks him outside. 43. The rebound by Moody. Moody’s got four rebounds in the game. The Warriors trailing outside Pajki. on the wing. Curry down to five on the shot clock to take the lead. Rebounded by Kawhi Leonard. Leonard’s got his seventh rebound of the game of that last one. Outside for Harden. Back to Leonard. Let’s loose for three. Old Green rips down the board. And the Warriors shooting just 42% so far in the game. [Applause] can capture the lead and hold it. And that’s been an issue. Five lead exchanges tonight. And timeout called by Tailoo. He wants to make sure they’re purposeful with the game plan. [Applause] [Applause] Collins. He’s checked in for Baton. Here’s Beal. Here’s Leonard. That’s too easy for Leonard. Leonard doesn’t shy away from these moments. Embracing his role as a leader for his team. And so it’s Curry with it. He brings it up for the Golden State Warriors. Now Butler and out of bounds, Los Angeles will have it. Honestly, I have no idea what happened right there. That was wild. The Clippers shooting about 43% in this one. And it’s Jimmy Butler with the foul. That’s his third foul so far. Here’s Beal. Now Collins. Clock at six. Here’s Leonard. Shoots a three and that three is knocked down by Kawi. Oh, in pressure moments. He’s a guy you trust to make big shots. Now Butler fires the three. Zubox pulls it down. A minute 31 left in the fourth. now healed. Collins, the triple drop. And if you foul a big like Collins, you better not let them get the shot off or they’ll have a chance to put up another point. [Applause] That’s all you. Here’s Curry. [Applause] 116 left to play in the fourth. Puts up the tray. Zubac pulls it down. No need to rush here. Take your time. Take your time. This is where you can reset and try to get a good shot. Here’s Collins now. Leonard. Shot clock at six. Look at it goes. Stepping up and nailing an important shot to put this away. And you know, this run shows what kind of attitude this team has. I mean, the win is there. Go get it. Now a timeout called by Golden State. They’re down by nine. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. outside. Moody, Butler, Curry. We’ve got 33 seconds left in the fourth quarter here now. Curry. Six to shoot. Moody. And he can’t stop the run as that misses. And Harden’s got the ball here for Los Angeles. 13 points was their biggest lead of the game. So, the Clippers win it. Even early on in this game, they appeared happy to be playing at home. And it makes a huge difference. Once they started to get into a groove, you never really felt like they wouldn’t come out on top. Well, now we have some time to check in with Ally Leforce. Ally James, congratulations on a big win, but I ask you this, where does this team need to continue to grow? Uh, you know, our backbone, what we’re going to rely on is our defense, and um it’s on us now defensively to be able to lock up, be able to communicate, and be able to sustain it for full quarters. And once we get that at a high level and consistently, uh, there’s going to be a problem. Thanks, James. Back to you. All right, Ally. Thank you. And that’ll wrap it up, folks. For Alli Leforce, Clark Kellogg, and Grant Hill, this is Brian Anderson thanking you for watching the NBA, presented by 2K Sports. And let’s leave you with our player of the game, Evita Zubox.
