All right, we have the third series of the year between St. Louis and Milwaukee. The Brewers currently lead that matchup four games to three. Both teams currently coming off getting swept in their last series. The Cardinals got swept by the Mariners while the Brewers got swept by the Rangers in Texas. Milwaukee should be in a good position to bounce back in this one though. They will have Quinn Pier on the mound. Pster has remained super solid. He has been unbelievably unbelievably consistent all season long. 367 RA on the year. 17 straight wins that Milwaukee has had with him on the mounds. That is a very, very impressive streak there. It’s going to be hard for St. Louis to break that given that they’re just not hitting well right now. Collectively, they are only hitting 203 in their last 10 games. They’re also only averaging three runs a game in that span. St. Louis also is not going to have great support on the mound either with Palante getting the ball. Palante just cannot be trusted. 528 RA on the season, 684 in his last five games. Frankly, the Brewers are at home. Preachers on the mound. He’s a far better option than Palante is. Milwaukeee is not going to lose four games in a row here, especially against this struggling Cardinals lineup. And I think Palante could be in for a tough one against this Brewers offense. So giving Milwaukee on the run line for this free pick in this game. And that will be it for me.
