And just like that, the Phoenix Suns get there, guy. Come on, Malawatch. Yes, it says the Rockets because that trade with Kevin Durant cannot go through until I believe July 6th. He is a Phoenix Sun and he fell right into the Phoenix Suns lap. This is exactly the developmental high upside player I wanted the Phoenix Suns to go after. Big defensive anchor. He is insanely athletic. And one of the things I really love about this guy, the lateral quickness at 7 foot with a 76 wingspan. He is not going to be the type of player that has switched on to guards and cannot hold his own. This guy, I believe, could be a future defensive player of the year candidate year in and year out. I absolutely love this selection for the Phoenix Suns. I cannot believe he fell into their lap, but I am incredibly excited that this is the high upside player that Phoenix Suns fans deserve. Congratulations to the Phoenix Suns front office, who I’ve been very critical of. This was the right pick.
