Well, Rizzo was a MUCH better player.
Busch is fine, but he’s not a 5-WAR player like Rizzo was.
Nothing personal, but I wish Rizzo would’ve been the veteran off the bench this year instead of Turner
Im happy to see Rizzo retire a Cub, but I’d rather DFA Santana and let Rizzo actually play out the rest of the season as a bench bat if he wants it…
It’s not even close. Rizzo is the best 1B I’ve ever watched. Not based on stats but his baseball IQ at that position was crazy good.
