🚨Detroit Lions Fans Get GOOD & BAD News

We got some good news and some bad news, but I say predominantly good news for you folks today. In today’s video, we’re going to get into the injury report. What’s looking like for both the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears, we got a massive game on Sunday. The coordinators of our football team spoke, Kelvin Shepard, John Morton do the takeaways there. We’re going to get into it right now. Let’s go. The first injury report came out and it is some good and bad news. I say predominantly good news especially for our Detroit Lions. Let’s go ahead and get into it right now. Jack Campbell, he was a full practice dealing with an ankle injury mess practices earlier this week. Full practice, that’s an indication he is good to go for game on Sunday. Taylor Decker did not practice dealing with that shoulder cleanup that he had earlier in the off season, but we got good news on him. We’ll talk about in a second. Sony Vaky limited practice. If the Lions need him, he finally should be good to go. Trevor Noah, limited practice, backup linebacker for the Lions looking positive there. Terry Arnold dealt with the groin injury week one early in the game. Full practice should be green to green for that game on Sunday. Daniel Thomas, Lions backup safety. Full practice as well. The one player that did not practice was Taylor Decker. However, John Martin came out and stated Taylor Decker will be playing in the game on Sunday. That is significant, massive, positive injury news because if he couldn’t play, remember Dan Skipper is dealing with injury, Jamarco Jones placed on IR, it would go to Giovanni Manu. And that is definitely what we don’t want to have when our offensive line has been a weakness so far with this team. So, great news there. And again, great news here. Terry Arnold, Jack Campbell should be good to go for the game on Sunday. Positive injury news each week. Go through the injury front. We know what it can do to a team. And in a second, we’re going to talk about the Bears injury news. But before we do that, we’re trying to get to 88,000 subscribers by Sunday. Right now, we are 794 away from 88,000 subscribers. If you’re one of those individuals, go ahead and hit that sub button right now. The Bears injury report. This is what they got going on here. Jaylen Johnson, their number one quarterback who did not play week one verse the Vikings. Full practice, good to go on Sunday. That’s what I’m hearing. Same with DJ Moore dealing with a a groin. Should be playing in the game on Sunday. Quarterback Josh Blackwell, limited practice. TJ Edwards, limited practice. With that said, he could be playing in this game. Most likely he will be. His brother of the Lions, Penua Noasu played in favor of him last week and you could tell it really hurt their defense. Edwards should be good to go and that’s their best linebacker on their defense. That’s bad news for the Lions. Good news for the Bears. Roshan Johnson limited practice as well. Their running back Grady Jarrett did not practice and that is a good uh defensive tackle for them. Kyler Gordon and Jada Walker limited and did not practice as well for the Chicago Bears. But the big names for the Bears in TJ Edwards and Jaylen Johnson. They should be good to go for the game on Sunday. And that gives a Lions offense a little bit more challenge because they’re not going to look as bad when you have TJ Edwards out there in favor of Noah Su who if you watch the game his back was to the quarterback a lot and you don’t want to have that when you’re a linebacker for a defense because then you get picked apart. Edwards a Pro Bowl player is going to do a much better job in there. The Lions though, we have an opportunity to show that our offense is dominant. You want to have their good players out there in Jaylen Johnson and TJ Edwards. For me, yes, I kind of do. We need to be a team that beats teams even when their starters are playing because if we have to rely on their starters to be out, does that sound like a Super Bowl winning team? No, it doesn’t. So, in regards to the Detroit Lions, I am happy that we’re getting healthy. super excited that Terry Arnold’s groin is not serious because if you watch the game before his injury, he played well before the groin injury. Then the groin injury occurred. He fell off a cliff. Then he was on the sideline when he no longer was able to compete. He had to put Rocky Sin in there. So, if he’s a full go, that’s going to be really good for the Lions secondary. But, is he still dealing with something? Is still going to affect his game? Is there anything lingering? If he plays, we will find out. Hopefully not. Don’t want that to occur. Need him to be on the field. Again, 794 subscribers away from reaching a new goal of 88,000 subscribers. This is what he said. Yeah, because we’re doing plays that they’ve done. Now, there’s some young guys, right? So, we just got to make sure we give them the right looks, all the different types of right looks to make sure they know exactly what they’re doing. And that’s what they’ve done. Morton said, you know, we did extra period in runs this week and I think it’s going to help. Go ahead. So, I think that’s what you do. Um, it’s easy fix. It’s an easy fix. Again, they’re not in panic mode right now, but 2.1 I ain’t going to cut it. It ain’t going to cut it. This should never happen again. That’s what Morton said for him. and he talked about about the offense in the coordinator speaking. He was in there giving his, you know, thoughts about the offense. It’s an easy fix. I truly hope it’s an easy fix. But I don’t believe it is an easy fix. Why don’t I believe it’s an easy fix? Well, the problem is that if it’s an easy fix, why was the offensive line getting dominated? Because I felt like that was issues in regards to not having Frank Ragnau, in regards to having the young players. And I think that’s going to take time. that in itself. Now, I do think it will get better, especially I think it’ll be better. The offensive line will play much better this Sunday than it did against the Packers. And there there’s multiple reasons why I do believe that to be the case. First off, it’s a home game, so the crowd is not going to be as loud. It’s not going to be as hype. So that’s going to give the communication for the young players there an opportunity to listen or hear that they didn’t hear in the game. The communication issue. So I don’t think that’s an easy fix. I don’t I think that’s going to be a difficult fix right there. And they’re talking about they they have to dumb down the offense. There’s too much That’s to me that’s not an easy fix. That is issues. That means there’s there there’s a lot of communication issues with the players and that can hurt. That’s my take on this one. Now, I’m going to be getting into what my man Kelvin Shepard said and he talked about Terry Arnold and he had a different approach to his media session. I encourage everybody to watch it. This is what he said about Terry Arnold. It’s by learning by previous mistakes. You guys have been around here. We got the exact same play San Francisco last year, said Shepard. Turn it on. 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearl. Learn from your mistakes. You’re a professional. If you’re injured, come out of the game. If you’re injured, come out of the game. We’re not making excuses. No, no, no. We’re not making excuses, Shepard said. Just like I have to play. I call I should have called. That’s on me. A player has a job to do. That’s on them. We all earn our paycheck. There won’t be any free rides this year. We all come to the stadium with a job. Do your job. Point blank. Period. I give him a 10 out of 10 for that. Uh, in one word comment right now in the comment, give me a a word expression with Shep and compared to John Morton. He takes accountability. Watch that um press conference that Shepard did. He com he takes complete and utter accountability. That’s what I love. There’s going to be mistakes, especially by young coordinators. He made mistakes, right? Dropping back Aiden Hutchinson, the Davenport. I’m sure he’s he’s going to make mistakes, young coordinator. He takes accountability and he takes his players take accountability. I can follow that. I can listen to that and I can say yes, I appreciate that. That’s all I ask. He takes complete accountability. That’s why I have trust in Calvin Shepard. The way he talks, he put it on Terry Arnold. He puts it on his players. No, do your job. We’re professionals. No excuses. We don’t have time to wait. No time to wait. And that’s what concerns me about John Morton here. There’s definitely a different feel between the two. A different feel. One is accountable, I feel like, and the other one maybe a little bit excuses. That’s my personal take. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe you guys say, “Mike, man, no way.” I hope I’m wrong. I want it to work out, but I there is concerns and I I hope this offense blows up on Sunday and puts up a ton of points and shuts everybody up, including myself. But right now, I listen to Shep accountability. I listen to another It’s just It’s not that big of a deal. I don’t I I I really don’t like that it’s not a big deal approach. I love the shepherd approach, the angry approach. And by the way, if people think he was being mad at the media, hey, as long as he’s being equal mad to everybody, I I appreciate that. If he wants to if he does want to get mad at media, as long as he’s mad at himself and he’s mad at the players, hey, that’s accountability, right? And he did make a great point, and he’s a thousand% correct about this, how he made Jordan Love not do the uh quarterback run. Now, if he does that to Caleb Williams on Sunday and they contain Caleb Williams and we don’t get sacks and the Lions win and the defense does good, that is something that I’m not going to get mad at the defensive line, they I would rather them contain Caleb Williams than anything because of his legs. Kelvin Shepard. I love what I heard from him and each week. I just That’s what you want to see from these coordinators. Just get better each week and be accountable. Be accountable. You do that. That’s progression, not regression. I can And if you look in the game, I thought the defense progressed throughout the game. I thought it got better. That’s what I didn’t see from the offense. So, so far so good with Calvin. I’m a little bit concerned about John Morton, but give me your thoughts in the comments below.

  3. Nothing is EVER been an " easy fix!" Simply, we are the Detroit Lions and nothing is given to us! Whether it's an easy or hard fix, it has to be fixed!
Detroit is NOT the only one's that have fixes!

  4. They were playing like they were in practice or preseason. All of the players look like they were not full go and eased up like you were in practice

  5. Shep strikes me as an inspiring coach you’d want to go to battle for on the field, similar to Dan Campbell. Still need to see inspired results on the field, though and I’ll remain cautiously optimistic about him until we’ve gotten through a good chunk of the season.

For Morton, I got nothing optimistic to go on right now, but again not gonna start thinking conclusively until there’s a more fair sample size of results to base on.

  6. Hit the sub button folks let's show the other NFL YouTubers we love our Lions content creators! Mike's a good dude and gives the best info he can muster. It costs you nothing so sub up unless your a bears, packers,Vikings fan in disguise 🥸

  7. Hoping this works out if not then ben johnson will be breathing a sigh of relief by dodging a bullet in not hiring morton and it might be time to start considering shopping for a new offensive coordinator

  8. Im hopeful our interior oline can perform. Honestly, i don't have much faith in our starting center. If oline struggles this week…we are in big trouble for the season unless Brad can make some big moves. But it's clear, our oline is not what it was prior years.
