Now, the Phillies are arguably playing their best baseball of the season. and they have won 10 of the last 14 games and are really hitting the ball. Uh they send Walker Beller to the hill and they pick them up from Boston and Walker is actually going to be in there for Philadelphia for the rest of the season. I think there’s only 16 17 games, but Philadelphia is going to go to a six-man rotation for the rest of the year. They’ve got 11ame lead on on the Mets and they’re they’re going to want Walker just to basically eat up innings. So, uh that’s what he’ll be there for. He’ll be able to get on the postseason roster and there’s no doubt he could be very valuable with the experience he has, especially what he did for the Dodgers last year in the playoffs. The Royals will send Michael Lorenzan to the Hill. And Lorenzan was hurt in uh about the first two weeks of July. I think it was July 7th or 8th and when he came back in mid August he has now started five games. Through those five games, three of those games he’s allowed four runs in under five innings. So um that’s not that’s not that good for for Michael especially when Kansas City needs to win this game tonight. The way these teams have been trending with Philadelphia winning so much and Kansas City on a on a losing streak here, I totally understand with people that want to uh play the Phillies. It’s a good number, 130. But for me, just don’t trust Beller. Bottom line, he gets he gets losing his control. He gets beat up a lot. Just don’t trust him. So, we will pass on the side here, but we will play the total. will play the total over nine. Uh the Phillies, as I said, they’ve been crushing the baseball. Their last three starts alone, they’ve averaged over eight runs a game, and I don’t see that changing tonight. Uh we we actually like that a lot for this over. Beller now did make a start for Philadelphia’s farm team in Lehi Valley. I think he only went a three innings or so. But for me, ever since all these injuries for Walker, you have to remember that he’s also had two Tommy John surgeries. Had one back in 2015 and that too. So, I mean, he just there’s no doubt even though Kansas City doesn’t score a lot, this could be a game where they’ll put up a bunch of runs knowing that this might be their best chance to beat Philadelphia this weekend. So, uh we do like Kansas City to put up some runs here. No doubt we believe Philadelphia will hit Lorenzan around just as teams have since he’s been back from his injury.
