NBA LIVE! Denver Nuggets vs Golden State Warriors September 13, 2025 Full Gameplay 2K26 Preseason

contest. Each of these teams excelling in rebounding. Yeah, that’s what both hang their hat on. This is a pride matchup. When you identify as a rebounding team, you never want to lose that battle. Now, Golden State’s starting five. Butler is the four and Green operates as the small ball center. Backcourt pair will be Curry and Pajki. And it’s Moody in at the three. Gordon for three and Moody pulls it down. on offense. Here are the Warriors. Pass to Pajki and Curry has it in the corner. The kick outside to Butler and the three off target. About a minute played so far here in the first. Jokic good for the basket. Starting off one for one with that shot. He’s so skilled on the interior. Joic plays with so much force and leverage down low. Butler against Gordon. Pass to Curry. Locket six. Golden State needs to get off a shot and the Warriors miss again. Not quite enough defense that time around. Just lucky he was off. Johnson the pass to Joic. Murray surveying the D. Shoots off the step back. Off to a good start as he hits his first shot attempt. And let’s be honest, Murray has never seen a shot he didn’t like, especially these mid-range jumpers. Butler pass it to Moody. Good. And Butler gets the assist. And once he got to the 10, I think he was surprised to find himself that wide open. Easy possessions like that literally are just a gift. You just dream of them. He’ll gladly take those. Curry against Murray. Johnson from outside. His first shot is a miss. 0 for one to start the contest. And now, let’s send it over to our courtside reporter, Ally Leforce. Well, I spoke with the head coach of the Nuggets. He said, “Let’s be honest, Jimmy Butler is one guy we have to be aware of at all times. When it comes to a player who’s as versatile as he is, that means the D has to be versatile, too.” That means showing Butler various looks and various defenders, guys. All right, Ally, we thank you for that. They double team Johnson. Gordon, the pass to Brown. Well, Nuggets need to get a shot off here. And it’s Joic missing and so Curry will bring it up for the Warriors. Richard, be honest. Did you expect Curry to have this kind of career when he was drafted into the NBA? I don’t think anyone expected Steph to have such a transformative career. He’s more than a superstar. He’s an icon and an excellent ambassador for the game. Denver’s gone 03 from three-point lane. Nothing yet going outside. Here’s Gordon from outside. Pass to Brown. Joic with his screen on Kirk. Murray for three. And again, Denver no good. Warriors have gone two or six from the field. Butler finds Pajki. Curry on the wing. Pulls it up again. Golden State. And we talk about the importance of versatility. He’s really got it all on the offensive end. Murray outside trying to get something going. Pajinski grabs the board. And he might have thrown himself off when he saw how much space he had from three. Wants to get it to Butler and does. Using his strength and athleticism, plays like this from Butler just motivates his team. They could use a big shot here to get this offense going. Too many empty possessions right now. They need the basket. So, David Adelman’s decided to call a timeout here. He made the decision to huddle up with his guys and talk about strategy. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Denver with the ball. Trailing by four. Pass to Brown. Johnson in the corner to stop the run. And again, Denver no good. Warriors have gone 50% from the field to this point. Four of eight. Here’s Pachki. And a miss there on the triple. And for the Nuggets, they’re shooting in the early going here. Pretty dreadful. 22%. Murray against Curry. Murray kicks to Johnson. Denver with a new 14. Joic with a screen on Kirk. Pass to Joic. Here’s Johnson. Four on the shot clock. Takes the three and it’s Joic missing. Warriors leading by four. And here is Curry. Green passes to Butler. Now Pajki misses the three. Pass to Yic. Murray outside. Gordon inside. Guarded by Kurt. Hits it from three-point lane. Joic has got five points so far. And you just can’t give any breathing room because he is a threat to fire from anywhere. Now Moody Majimsky on the wing still scoreless. Pick works well there. Not much resistance from the deep. Yeah, that just comes down to a lack of effort. The defender has to do a better job fighting through the screen. Green against Brown. Here’s Murray. Back to Brown. And here’s Joic outside. Jimmy Butler with the rebound. Warriors leading by three. Curry finds Pajki. Golden State moving the ball around. Curry is inside. Curry on him. Tries it from 19 and it hung on the rim but wouldn’t fall for it. And so it’s Johnson who brings the ball up for Denver. Well, Richard, you had an interesting view of the start of the Warriors dynasty. Yeah, I was very, very blessed to be a part of that Steph Clay in Draymond’s first playoff run back in 2013. Matter of fact, some of the Warrior fans are still mad at me for some missed free throws, but I was 90 years old. Let it go. Well, their passes occur. Hits the three-point bomb. He has five. Such a quick release. As soon as the ball touches his hands, it’s gone. The Nuggets trail by four. Pass to Joic in the corner. It’s Gordon. And here’s Joic. Murray outside. That’s in coming off the assist from Joic. Murray’s got five points so far. And that is how you respond to Murray knocking down one of his own from beyond. And so Steve Kerr decides to call a timeout. Coach is going to take a few minutes to regroup and go over the strategy. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Big group substitution here for Denver. Valen Junas. He’s checked in for Joic. Peyton Watson comes in for Gordon. Hardaway’s checked in for Johnson. And it’s Bruce Brown in for Christian Brown. Kaminga against Hardaway. Heel dishes to Butler outside Kaminga. No good on the triple and it’s trail. Pass to Murray. Outside Hardlay. This one for three. And the rebound goes to the Warriors. Come on. Now here’s healed. Get it. Come get it. Post finds Heel. Back to Post. Shot clock at six. In the corner. It’s Heel off the mark there with the three-point shot. It’s time to send it over now to our reporter Ally Leapors. Hey guys, the Nuggets have gotten used to success. Nicole Joic said, quote, “Winning is a lifestyle for us. It’s really good when you’re winning. Everybody’s happy. Everybody wants to play. Everybody is buying into the system. I was here when we were losing. So, I do not want to go back to that, guys.” There’s your good with him in the lineup. Okay. Thank you, Ally. Brown outside. Pass to Watson. Murray for three. That’s good. in the assist goes to Watson. Murray’s got eight from way out there, right? Jamal Murray’s ever expanding range. Here’s Post outside. Ginga. Here’s Butler. And slam dunk by Butler. Now flying high and throwing it down with the one hand. One of his favorite moves right there, guys. Murray. Well timed pass and he goes straight to the bucket for the layup. He’s got 10. And inside Murray’s attacking mentality pays off. He just works hard to find his own shot. Butler feeling it out a bit. Three-pointer healed. It’s hauled in by Watson. And here’s Brown. He’ll bring it up for Denver. Murray outside. Back to Brown. Pass to Watson. Murray outside now. Valenunis. Back to Murray. And there’s the foul. It will go on Bruce Brown. That is his first foul of the game. The Warriors trailing. healed outside. Joic with the steel. It’s 9 seconds separate in the shot clock and game plan. Watson kicks to Joic. Fires from deep. Gets it to goal from beyond the ark. And the Nuggets lead by five. The three-point stroke from Joic. It just looks confident. now. Here’s Curry. He’s got five. Pass to post with one on the clock and no luck with that time on the buzzer beater. What a performance by Jamal Murray. He has been the story for the Nuggets. He got into double digits for the quarter with 10 points total. Back right after this. and hope you’ve enjoyed the broadcast so far. Halfway through the first half in this one. All right, we’ll take a look now at how the points have been generated so far. A scoring breakdown for Denver. They’ve really been dialed in from deep. This is a team that has a ton of confidence in their outside shooting ability and you can’t turn it over against this team. That’s a recipe for disaster and we’re seeing the results of that. So with Butler sitting on the bench, here’s the group that Steve Cerr has on the floor. A pair of shooters at the guard. Curry and heel. There’s Jackson Davis out there with Quinton Post and it’s Kaminga in at the three spot. Nothing better than a hustle plays like that. It gets the whole team amped up. Sets the example for everyone. Yogic finds Hardaway. Now here’s Yic most covering. And it’s Brown missing. And here’s Golden State trailing by two. And Curry has it in the corner. Golden State moving the ball around for the three. It’s hauled in by Watson. Denver’s gone 0 and2 from def. So G8, when you think about Steph Curry’s legacy, he changed the way the NBA team is playing. Man, it is hard to find a player who’s had the impact of a Steph Curry, making us rethink what is possible. Curry’s endless range has really inspired a generation. That’s Curry. on the wing. Heel trying to answer back, but that three is off the mark. The Nuggets leading by five. Over in the corner, Brown. Here’s Joic post covering. Six on the shot clock. Hardway for three. He’s just scored his first basket with that shot, making him one for four. Oh, excellent preparation from Hardway Jr. primed to attack. Pass to Jackson Davis and the call up against Joic. That is his first foul of the game. And the Nuggets making a change here. Tyson’s checked in. And for those of you just joining us, we’re almost two and a half minutes into the second quarter. Curry outside. It’s good from long range. Curry’s got 11 points. They will take that option every time. Up the floor. Curry from the corner. Here’s Brown and finished off by Brown. The finish was nice, but the setup was better. Yeah, G. The pick working to full effect before the stuff. Yeah, you like the pick to set up the open shot, but when it leads to a dunk, okay, even better. He’ll take it on the wing. Heel guarded by Hardway. And so it looks like the Warriors will retain possession here. Great instincts from him to get a hand on that pass and tip it out. Yeah, I think he was hoping to maybe even get the steal, but I agree. He’s still got a good outcome. And the Nuggets making a change here. Maji’s checked in. Then for the Warriors, Draymond Green comes in for Quinton Post. And it’s Brandon Pajki in for Trace Jackson deep. And there’s the foul on the shot. He’ll go to the line for two. It’s his first trip to the line. First free throw is good. And now we’re being joined by our 2K insider Shams Cherano who’s calling in with a good story. Shans, what do you have? Thanks. With players signing rich extensions highlighted by Devin Booker’s 2-year $145 million max contract, we’re quickly approaching a time when so-called supermax players will be making over a million per game. As shocking as it sounds, the reality is that the best players are already worth more than that to their teams. It’s all about results. Thanks so much for the report, Shams. And here’s Yic outside. Warriors trail by five. Pass to Pajki. Kaminga. Kicks to heel. Outside. Curry. Lets it go from the wing. Makes a big high bounce and goes in. Curry’s got 13 points. So challenging to guard and pick and rolls. Curry excels at exploiting the defense in these sets. Brown the pass to Joic. In the corner, it’s Gordon. Two on the clock, buries the long range jumper. Gordon’s got his first puck of the game and he’s on the board for three. Curry gets to Green. Healed from outside. Joic grabs the miss. And so it’s Joic with it. He brings it up for the Denver Nuggets. Six-point lead. Now Brown. No scoring in this one. Tries the double. Pass to Brown. Off target from three-point range. Here’s Curry with the three. The three ball from Curry. And this is the game plan for him. He’s a big part of their floor space. Yeah, you got to know where he is at all times, especially when he’s roaming around the perimeter ready to fire. And Kaminga throws it down. And how about the incredible timing on that alley? He absolutely hammered it down. Round the pass to Hardway. Gordon with the screen for Hardaway and he’s good on the three ball. Hardway has got six here in this quarter. Silky smooth with that jumper. Hardway Junior’s mechanics are what make him so deadly. And we saw last season the Nuggets GA in the final week of the regular season making a coaching change and a shift in their front office. A pretty rare situation. Seemed like there’d been a power struggle and rather than choosing sides, the decision was to just make a fresh start. A different look for Denver. Johnson comes in for Tim Hardaway Jr. and Murray subbed in for Brown. Jimmy Butler. He’s checked in for the Warriors. Moses Moody comes in for Buddy Heel. Pass the B. Some nice passing by Golden State. Curry. Curry is just lethal from outside. Nuggets have gotten just over 50% of their shots to drop here in the second quarter. They’re five for nine. Joic against Green. Brown wide open. That’s in coming off the assist from Joic. Joic has got his fourth assist in this one. Outside Butler and the call up against Joic. That’ll be his second foul of the game. And now only one away from being in the penalty. On defense, the Nuggets. Four-point game. Curry against Murray. Just five on the clock. The kick outside to Butler. Tried to come right back with a three of his own. It’s no good in the corner. Murray with it. Back to Joic. Pass to Brown from outside. Off the mark. Warriors trail by four. Outside Butler now. Moody outside. Curry. Here’s Pachki. No good from outside. Nuggets have gone six of 11 from the floor. Over 50% shooting here in the second quarter. Shot by Gordon wide open. Hands it from downtown and it’s a seven-point Nugget lead. Curry kicks them up and it’s Pajki in the corner. Lets it go from deep. Trains the three-pointer. Pajk’s got five now. How about dueling from long range? Just going at each other. Take that, he says. I see your three and I’ll raise you another three to the paint. A steal. Pass to Moody. Back to PMski outside. Butler and Curry has it in the corner. The shots good on the assist by Butler. And it’s now only a one-point Nugget lead. This is what Curry does best. He is so creative at getting into rhythm and staying high. So David Adelman’s decided to call a timeout here. Coach needs a moment to talk things over. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Onis Valenunis who’s checked in for Nola Yic and Golden State also making a change. Heels checked in. Murray with it. He’s got 10. And it’s Gordon finishing it off. Out of nowhere, Gordon just soaring in there. And that athleticism carries him straight to the hoop. Butler against Gordon. Pass to Curry. Six to shoot. Here’s Butler with the drive. There’s his third field goal. And now he’s made half of his six shots. Signature move by Butler. He’s a slasher by nature. Really goes hard to the cup. R.J. When you talk about Jimmy Butler, he is definitely a tone setter. Yeah, Kevin. On the court and in the locker room, this man is tenacious. He lets you know exactly what he’s thinking. Teams fear him and sometimes his teammates do as well. And that’s on the defense there. Got to know the scout on the court and understand that he loves his shot. Outside Curry Denver grabs the miss. Here’s Brown. He’s got six. Kicks it out to Johnson. Off target with his three and close to making the defense pay for the lack coverage that time. Moody. The pass to Butler over in the corner. Green. The kick outside to Butler. Puts up a deep three. Rebound by Murray. He missed that one, but I’ve seen him drill shots from that distance in warm-ups. Even though he is capable of hitting that shot, I’d like to see him work for a better look in that situation. Pass to Brown. Here’s Gordon and it’s Curry with the rebound. Warriors trail by four. Outside. Green out of bounds. Denver takes possession. Horrible mistake right there. You hate to see unforced turnovers like that. And the Warriors making a change here. Pompeki’s checked in. One turn left here in the second. Pass to Alen Junis. Now Johnson defended by Moody and Draymond Green picks up the foul. That’s his first foul. There’s 57 seconds left in the first half. kicks it out to Gordon. Shot clock at five. Denver passing it around. A three ball. And I love what Butler gives this team on the defensive end. Can guard a number of positions and does a good job with his health team. And again, it’s the Warriors missing. Nuggets leading by four. Murray dishes to Johnson on the wing. Murray guarded by Curry. There’s the triple. Curry good. Murray’s got 13 points. And this is who Murray is. A natural scorer who looks for ways to get himself going. Butler in the corner. Off the mark and the drop continues. And so we wrap up the first half. Nuggets ahead up by seven. And we’ll be back right after halftime for the start of the third quarter. We’ll see you in a bit. and happy you could join us. We’ve got two quarters left to go in regulation. Curry has been sensational. Yeah, he’s just been raining down on him from deep here. Talk about dialed in. If I’m his teammate, I keep feeding the hot hand, especially since he’s been on fire from deep. Also in at the guard spots, Murray and Brown Johnson is in the front court alongside Gordon. And it’s Joic in at the center filling out the middle. That’s the groove that David Adelman’s going out there with to start the second half. inside. Here’s Butler. Butler hammering it home. Oh, power flush with a long hang on the rim at the end of that. That could, you know, that could be a catalyst for him. It really could. And it’s Joic in the corner. Picks it out to Johnson. Three off the mark. And the well is running dry for him right now. Nothing falling. Yeah. And the risk now is that he gets inside his own head. Time to take deep breaths in through the nose, out through the mouth, and let the game come to you. R.J., there were questions about the two timeline approaching Golden State. But some of those young guys have made a difference and some haven’t. But those team friendly contracts of those younger players, that’s one advantage and a way to keep that energetic talent around their young stars. Back to Brown. Johnson kicks to Murray and it’s Joic in the corner. High Joic from distance. Oh, but how about the touch there and and there are a lot of bigs today who can impact the game on the perimeter. And I got to say Yic is up there with the best of it. Let’s go to the sideline and see what Ally Leforce has dug up for us. Ally, take it away. Thanks a lot, guys. Nicole Yokic is a family man through and through. He said, quote, “Basketball is not the main thing in my life and probably never will be.” And to be honest, I like it because I have something more at home, something that’s more important than basketball. Back to you. Some good perspective. Thanks so much, Ally, for the report. Shot clock at six. Murray outside from outside the ark. Pajki grabs the board. Pajk’s got his seventh rebound here tonight. Butler up top. Back to Curry over Brown. Nice shot by Curry. No good. See that miss? That miss right there. It’s why teams try to avoid the mid-range jumper these days. Pass to Joic. In the corner, it’s Gordon. A three-pointer off the mark. And you could tell he thought that triple was going to fall. Cutler loves the three-point look. And this is why Butler is so dangerous. He’s not afraid to take any shot if he likes the angle. Murray outside. Johnson finds Brown. Good ball movement here by the Nuggets. Johnson can’t hit. And here’s Curry who brings it up for the Warriors. Since halftime, they’ve only allowed five points. They kick it out to Green. Launches it and it’s Denver with the rebound. Gordon’s got five rebounds tonight. Pass to Murray. Kicks it out to Johnson. Green against Joic for three. Murray and Moody pulls it down. Moody’s got his fourth rebound in this one. Pajki on the wing. Covered by Brown. Back to Pajki to the middle and stolen by Gordon. Now Brown, he has six. Pass to Joic. Outside for Murray. Good. And the assist goes to Joic. Joic has got his fifth assist in this one and operating off the ball. Credit Murray for staying engaged, ready to fire when asked. And so Steve Kerr decides to call a timeout. He’s going to make some adjustments to the game plan. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Warriors trail by seven. Pass to Green outside. Butler Curry on the wing. Jacks up a three. Denver grabs the miss and never Greg an allstar, but he is a star. Jamal Murray can flat out play and he’s had his hurdles to overcome with injury over the years, but he’s never one to shrink from a challenge and he remains a prolific shot creator. Right block shot and there’s another one for the Nuggets. Oh, the Joker taking over. He’s had his way offensively making it look easy. Outside Green up top. Curry. He’s covered by Murky with it. He has five. over Joic and again it’s the Warriors missing. The Nuggets leading by nine. Here’s Brown to the inside. Outside for Murray offline with his three. Golden State’s gone a less than productive two of six from three-point land in the second half. Butler against Gordon. Here’s Moody. A three-pointer. No good. You know what though? Sometimes you can be too open. I think it may have surprised him and that’s why he missed. Here’s Brown. And again, it’s Denver. Unwilling to let up even for a moment. That’s his killer instinct. Just fanning the flame. Always plays hard until the final whistle no matter what the situation is. To the left side lane. Moody connects from three-point range. Moody’s got five now. An absolute superb facilitator because Curry is such a lights out shooter. It opens up passing lanes for him. Curry against Murray. Pass to Brown and it’s Joic in the corner. It’s stolen by Green. And here is Curry. He’s got 25. Takes a three. Denver grabs the miss. Gordon’s got seven rebounds in the game. Here’s Brown. He’s got eight. Gage draws the double. Ripped away. Butler with the ball now guarded by Murray. Shot is good and the Nugget lead is cut down now to just five on the basket from Curry. A three-point specialist can’t let Curry get any space to fire from the corner. That’s a recipe for disaster. So, David Adelman’s decided to call a timeout here. He’s going to take a few moments here to check in with his team and regroup. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Now the Nuggets. throw some changes. Onis Valenunis, he’s checked in for Joic. Aiden Watson comes in for Gordon and it’s Brown in for Cameron Johnson. Then for the Warriors, Quinton Post is checked in for Draymond Green. Jonathan Kaminga comes in for Moody and it’s Buddy Heel in for Curry. Now here’s Valenunis still without a basket. Murray kicks the Watson off target from outside. Warriors trail by five. Pass to Pajki. Here’s Post. He’s covered by Murray down low. It’s stolen by Watson. Here’s Brown and blocked. That one goes careening off the glass. Healed against Brown. And here is Butler. Healed from outside and the Warriors. Another three. Well executed play. Anytime you can get healed something in rhythm off the catch, you have done your job. Murray down low, defended by Butler. Offensive rebound. Menunis. Good. Yeah. Coach’s pet peeve there. No box out. Oh yeah. You think you got to stop and it’s wasted because of sloppy work on the glass. You literally practice that every day. He right side. The shots good on the assist by Butler. He’s got six points. And that’s what He is paid to do. stretch the floor for this offense. Murray outside. Alan Juna sets a screen from Earl. The kick out to Brown. Just four to shoot and it’s out of bounds. They say it was last touch by Brown. Those are the turnovers that have coaches pulling their hair out. Why do you think I’m bald? Tim Hardaway Jr.’s checked in for Denver. And the Warriors also making a change. Grace Jackson Davis has checked in for Brandon Pajki outside. Butler Butler on the move. They kick out to heel over Watson. And again, it’s the Warriors missing. Butler against Brown. Murray down low. Hardway for three. Warriors have gone seven for 16 the second half from the field. Shooting a bit under 50%. Butler on the way. Healed outside. Pass the B. In the paint, Butler. Strong move by Butler making sure that was a quality possession. Now Brown Jun is with the ball. Pass to Murray. Watson for three. It’s rebounded by Kaminga. The Warriors leading. Healed the pass to Butler. Driving to the basket, shoots over ground again. Golden State. You just got to be up on Butler at all times with one of the more efficient scorers in our game. The shot and game clock separated by four. Murray for three. And the rebound goes to the Warriors. And he has been ice cold from beyond the arc here since halftime. And he continues yet to fire away. He has got to tone it down if he wants to help his team. Yeah. Heard the whistle and then kept his focus and able to still knock it down. The Warriors shooting their third free throw attempt of the game. And going back a season ago, they were a pretty average team at the line. About 76% alto together. One shot. 6 seconds left to play here in the third. D2 from Murray. Beats the buzzer. Wow. Yeah, that’s just an amazing way to get that ball off in time. Talk about being poised under pressure. Big time shot from him there. And we’ve watched three so far in this one. The Warriors on top as they wrap up the third quarter with an energy burst, a 19-4 run. And fourth quarter basketball will be coming your way on 2K Sports right after this. And now, let’s go back to a play from earlier as we show you our State Farm assist of the game. Yeah. And I I like the fact we get to see this pass one more time. A magnificent feed. And you love to see your offguard taking over the playmaking duties with this much skill. Not just playing selflessly, but also making a smart decision with the ball. Well, this has been a great contest so far, and I imagine the fourth quarter could have even more action in store for us. So, with Butler sitting on the bench, here’s the group that Steve Kerr has on the floor. A pair of shooters at the guard. Curry and heel. Red and post is out there with Trace Jackson Davis. And it’s Kaminga in at the three. The small for pass to Joic. Six on the shot clock. Jones for three. The Warriors pull it in. Curry’s got seven rebounds in the game. To the middle. There’s Kaminga. And Kaminga throws it down. And he can do a lot more damage to the rim than that when he wants to. Oh, you’re right. Oh, and with the lead they’re enjoying, I’m surprised he didn’t put a little something extra on that one. Inside. Here’s Post. Takes it up with both hands and rips it down. The D just kind of stepping aside and letting him get to the rim. There’s a reason, GA, the lead is what it is right now. Yeah, it’s going to take better rim protection than that if they’re going to climb out of this hole. Joic kicks to Jones. Hardway up top. Covered by Heels and Hardway gets it to go. Comfortable for me anywhere on the floor. Hardway Jr. will take the mid-range if you give it to him. Warriors leading by four for three. He can’t hit. Nuggets have gone two or three from the field to get the fourth quarter start. Healed against Joic on the wing. Hardway. Good. And the assist goes to Joic. And now just a one-point Warrior lead. A go-to shot for Hardway Jr. He can really hurt defenses from downtown. Golden State moving the ball around. It’s three outside and it’s Joic with the rebound. Yic has got rebound number seven for him tonight. Brown outside. Back to Yic. Jones for three. And they get it back and the rejection by Curry and he recovers it. And here’s Curry who brings it up for Golden State. Pass to Jackson Davis played in with a nice touch off the glass. Well, as we move into the fourth, it’s been an even game, guys. Teams have exchanged the lead five times thus far. And we’ve got a timeout from David Adelman. He’s clearly intent on wanting to lock in and make sure everyone’s on the same page. Heat. Heat. Denver making a switch here. Brown’s checked in. Pajki, he’s checked in for the Warriors. And now, let’s swing it over to Ally Leforce on the sideline. I was able to listen in on what the Nuggets coach was going over with his team. He ripped into their perimeter game and their energy level, saying to his guys, “You’re just running through the motions out there. There’s no hustle or desire to chase them off the three-point line or to try to get open looks from deep on the other end, guys.” And as always, Ally, great job. Thank you. And here’s Joic. The kick out to Brown. That’s in coming off the assist from Joic. Joic has got his seventh assist in the game. Warriors have gone three of six in the field so far in the fourth quarter. Pass to post and here is heel. He’s covered by Brown outside Cur by Heield. Nobody around. And right away they with a three-pointer of their own. Love the response there from Hill. Matching threes. Joic passes to Brock. That shot off. Good D by Heel. Golden State’s gotten just one of four three-pointers to go down for them here in the fourth. Here’s PMski outside. Curry lets it fly and the Warriors tack on two more. Pick works well there. Not much resistance from the deep. Yeah, that just comes down to a lack of effort. The defender has to do a better job sliding through the screen. Joic with the bucket. Spacing things out a little. Smart of Joic to take advantage from that mid-range. It’s Curry outside. That one’s not going to go. Denver’s gotten off four three-pointers in the final quarter and two of them have fallen. Brown finds Brown. Here’s Yic. Post covering. Pass to Watson. Just five to shoot. Brown. No good. The Warriors have gone five for nine from the field in the final quarter so far. But Jensky’s shot is good. Confident and composed on the three-point shot at a critical juncture. Brown feeling it out a bit to the paint. Out to Hardway and he can’t answer back. The three-pointer offline. Brown against Teel. Here’s Post. An easy two points on the layup. Post has got the lead up to six now for the Warriors. Yeah, nothing too fancy. just getting the job done when they need to make every possession count. Brown the pass to Joic. Now here is Hardway. Joic with this screen on K and Watson has it in the corner and it’s good. Assisting on the play was Hardway. Draw them in and kick it out. Great execution to open up an easy look from outside. And so Steve Kerr calls for the timeout and clearly an important juncture. He’s going to have some choice words with his team. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. for the Nuggets. Gordon’s checked in for Peyton Watson. Johnson comes in for Bruce Brown and Murray subbed in for Tim Hardaway Jr. Green. He’s checked in for Golden State. Butler comes in for Trace Jackson Davis. outside. Curry pass to Butler. And here is Green. Joic with the steel. Murray outside. The Nuggets moving the ball around to tie it up. Good. And the assist goes to Joic. Joic has got assist number eight here in this one already. And so it’s Butler with it. He’ll bring it up for the Golden State Warriors. Here is Poachki and he banks in the layup. PMski’s got five points now this quarter. And you want him taking big shots for you in big moments. That one was as easy as it gets. Yeah, it’s clear why they go to him in these moments. They know he’s going to deliver for him in the corner. Murray with it. Pass to Joic. Pocket six over Green and it’s Joic missing. The Warriors have gotten exactly two/3 of their shots to find the bottom of the net here in the fourth. eight of 12. Great teamwork punctuated by a strong finish. Yeah, that’s nice execution. Running with purpose and creating an easy scoring opportunity off the break. Pass to Brown driving inside. Kicks it out to Gordon in the corner. Murray with it. Joic sets the screen for Murray. Good work there as it goes. Murray, he’s got 23 and that’s right in his wheelhouse looking to make an impact when it counts. And his team needs every bit of his production if they want to pull this one out. It is neck and neck here in the final period. And he makes that one. He is scorching the D. Exploding offensively. Johnson. The pass to Joic. Here’s Murray. I see him. I see him. Johnson kicks to Joic. It’s the one by Green. Got a piece of it. Here’s Brown. He’s defended by Penski. And now running it up the court. Green pushing it all the way. Yep. It’s going to go in. And that couldn’t have gone better for them right there. Forget about playing it safe. They’re looking to finish this thing off in style. Gordon with a screen on Green. Now here’s Yic. Here’s Johnson trying to shoot. Knocks down the three. So many of the plays they’re running designed to create opportunities from deep. With the way they’re shooting, there’s no need to look for any other shot. Just keep letting it rain. And so Steve Kerr calls for the timeout. And he wants to see some changes out there right away. And right now, Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Moody’s check in for Heel. Here’s Curry. Green with a screen for Butler. Fires the three. He drills the three. There’s the allaround game of Butler. A nice assist to cash in on that possession. Now Joic Johnson fires. What a response hitting the three of their own. And the crowd is loving this long range bomb attack that we’re seeing here tonight. Coming right back to answer a three with one of their own. Now Green outside Butler. Five on the clock. rebounded by Brian and not allowing even an inch of bre. I’m sure they’ll think twice about shooting against him next to it. Down he goes for three. Sounds like a rock concert in here. And guys, that was the bucket they have been waiting for. Murray against Pur. You love to see the competitive fire. He couldn’t see that triple. Oh, you just love seeing a player with absolutely no fear. He knew what they needed here and was determined to deliver. Curry against Murray. Curry looking around and again unable to change the momentum here. You can probably expect to see him slow it down now. Yeah, I think you would have milked your possession. Yic relentless in their approach even with the game firmly in hand. No let up with these guys. They’re going for the throw now. Now a timeout called by Golden State. They’re down by four. And let’s get your take, guys. So, what’s the strategy? They’re trying to stay alive. They’ve got to work quickly. Yeah. No time to waste. They basically have to execute things perfectly from here on out. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Now Kurt Reds lose a three and Down call goes the three. Fearless Curry takes up the challenge and gets that big basket to fall. Honestly, just doing what they have to in order to get the basketball back. And an intentional foul right there. miss. He hits the first one and that will put them up by two. And so he drops them both. It’s a three-point game. And the perfect time to be perfect at the line. Only a three can tie it now. And he does not hit. So it’s the Nuggets taking the W and a close one. That was a fun night of basketball. Fabulous finish as they continued to wait out until the very last moment to seal it. And there are so many times when you see these tight games won at home. That advantage of having that crowd behind you often times is the ultimate X factor. Now let’s send it over to Ally Leforce on the sideline with our player of the game. Ally, take it away. Nola, congratulations on the win. What does a win like this say about your team?
