Detroit Tigers vs vs Miami Marlins – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 12, 2025 MLB Season
We’re coming to you live from Lone Depot Park here in Miami for game one of a big threeame weekend series between the Marlins and the Tigers. And tonight folks, it’s the best pitching matchup in all of baseball. One that’ll pitch Sandy Alcantra against the reigning Sai Young award winner in the American League, TK Scubble on Dollar here at Lone Depot Park. But lefties [Music] have struggled. It’s been less of a weapon against righties, which I think is strange. So lefties struggling against that sinker, which has the good run. Just something to watch tonight up the middle. Diving stop. Lopez gets Medal’s fine play. This is a very young Marlins team. Lot more effectiveness this season. 02 coming. That’s a fly ball in the air to right field. Pretty deep sending Weame back shy of the track. He’s got it. Two up and two down for Sandy. Told you he swings and misses quite a bit. And there’s a swing and a miss on a curveball. Alcantra works around the two out single by Carpenter here. The most devastating pitch that anybody features in the big leagues. Swing and a miss on a change. He went 02 and he punched him out. One up and one down. Here is Augustine Ramirez in the 10 pitch. just hit in the air to left field. Pass is deep and it’s gone. Augustine number 20 of his rookie season off of Scooble. It’s one- nothing Miami. Fast ball top of the zone mid90s left Augustine’s bat at 110. He’s not afraid of anybody. And one thing we do know about Marlins have jumped out to an early one- nothing lead and Marcy punches one into shallow right. Torqulson is going out. He’s got it. Two away. It’s one and two on Ottawa. It’s one- nothing Miami. And the two strike pitch is cut on miss. Side retired. Damage done. A run on the head. Ramirez with number 20. It’s one- nothing Miami after one full inning of play. Another strike out. 02 coming. And that is called strike three. Good fast ball on the outside corner at 99. Two. Popped him up left side. Shallow left. Lopez is there. Two away. Swing and a miss. Inning over. 30. Pair of strikeouts in a scoreless second inning for Alcantra. Hernandez with a fly ball to right field. Carpenter looking up and gone. An opposite field bomb for Ariberto Hernandez. [Applause] Two nothing Miami. It’s hard enough to get a hit off this cat teroo, let alone left center, left field. But that one went the opposite way. And now Eric Wagaman blisters one out towards the gap in right center field. And that’s down for a base hit. He’s on his way to second with a double. One and two on Weame, who’s also been hot at the plate. He shoots one back up the middle behind the bag at second. Torres has got it, but a productive out sending Wagamin from second to third. 01 pitch to Senoha is hit out towards second base. Torres has got it. He’ll go to second for one. That’s all. Wagamin will score from third. That’s how you get the job done. It’s three nothing Miami. You know the count is two and two. Edwards hits one out towards second. It’s caught. The inning is over, but the damage is done. Number eight hitter followed by Rogers and then Meadows here in the third. That’s backhanded by Wagaman who gives a nice little solid flip to Alcantra covering working deep into games. It’s the 1-1 to Rogers is bounced to third. Plenty of time for A Costa who sets his feet, fires the first. Two up and two down for Sandy here in the third. That’s how you win games. 1-1 to Meadows. Tapped out in front of the plate. Sy’s got it. He’ll flip the first inning over. A perfect third inning for Sandy. 1999 and 2000 when Pedro Martinez did it. Ramirez shoots one into shallow center field. Coming on Meadows, he’s got it. One away. Do with that. That’s right. Two-2 coming. That is grounded to third sharply. McKinstre’s got it. Throws it to first. Lopez is out. First perfect inning of the night. Are looking at the kids that make good decisions in the batters box and the kids that put the ball in play. Now Green skies this one to left center field. Marcy’s going back and this is gone. Wow. Are you kidding me? That is some serious power. But how about the hang time? The hang time was incredible. Riley Green has got the Tigers on the board. The O2 to Torlson. Swig and a miss. Strike three got him. Inning over. Run on a hit. A solo shot by Green including the manager. You’re 100% right. Strike three called. Good splitter for Montero. It looked like he might have missed a little bit outside. There’s two away. Roberto at second. A Costa’s at first. Two away. And Senoha gets jammed and he punches it into shallow center field. Here comes Manos. He dives and he can’t get it. One run will score. A second run will score. That’s a two-run double for Javier Senoha. And a little insurance, a little cushion and breathing room for Miami here in the fourth. Edwards looking for another knock. and he hits one softly. Monto snags a little snow cone grab. He’ll take it to the bag and the inning is over, but the Marlins get two more runs on three hits here in the fourth. Contra rolling. This is pitch number 71 and Rogers pops it up behind home plate. Ramirez has got it under Detroit Tigers bats. Swinging a miss. Dirty tonight. 99 and he just blew his front doors in. Does he have a CG in him tonight? He’s pitching like he wants to pitch his first complete game of the year. High chopper off the plate. Sandy’s got it. Nobody’s at first. A little flip and they got him. Wow, what a nice job by Eric Wagaman to recover and get over there. There’s a drive in the air to left field. Forget about it. That ball was hammered by Joey Weamer. It’s his third home run as a Marlin. Wow. We got a lot of sock in that bat. It left his bat at 107. Launch angle 24°. It was a breaking ball from Paddock up in the strike zone and 509 career homers, over 500 doubles, too. Slashed towards first and it’s picked by Torqulson who flips an underhand to paddic covering to away. should be the first Marlin in the Hall of Fame in New York last night. Edwards bangs one to center and Meadows is waiting for it and the inning is over. But three runs, two hits and a three-run homer by Weames made it eight to one. That is stung out towards left center. Rolling out towards the wall. Carpenters headed towards third and Green’s got himself another extra base hit. This one’s a double. He’s got a lot of weapons. 02 got him on a sinker. The most 01 gets right through the wickets of Augustine. I don’t know how they’re going to rule that, but if you’re Augustine, you got to keep that ball in front of you. There’s no doubt about that. One, two. Ground ball hit sharply to second. Edwards to Wagman. The inning is over. His 900th career strikeout. And that’s grounded to third. McKinstry’s got it to his left to Torqulson. Other say a Conine. I I would expect this team to hit plenty of homers. Kind of middle of the pack as Lopez grounds out. We’ll get more. We’ll we’ll get back to that as we go to the top of the eighth. Eighth. He’s not facing Sandy Alcantra. Instead, it is Kate Gibson. McKinstry bounces one to first. Gibson gets over to the bag at first to cover. Talking about elite company. It’s flown into shallow center. Marcy’s got to get it going. He’s got it. And a message here. [Applause] Another pitch coming. Struck him out on a curveball to retire the side. 8-2 Miami after 7 and 12 WBC. Bberto Hernandez. First pitch swinging off of Chris Paddock to begin the bottom of the eighth. He flies out the shallow center. Third one to Eric Wagamman is lifted in the air to Ray and the aforementioned Jones has got it. There’s two away. And let’s get you a quick word from Leon’s bullpen and left. And Marlins have had their big boy pants on tonight. We a home run. Hernandez with a home run. Ramirez with a home run. And a ground ball the third ends the inning. you have been watching all season. There’s a swing and a miss. Good slider from George to punch out Green on a back foot breaking ball. You cannot locate a slider any better than he located that last one to the very talent. Ground ball hit weekly to second. Edwards to Lopez to first. Not handled by Wagon. Swinging miss for Soraniano. Ground ball out towards second. Edwards has got it. He’s going to apply a tag on the runner and the ball game is over. Sandy Alcantra outdo and the Marlins down the Tigers eight-2 in game

Valente Bellozo hasn't been on the mound recently, is he in the minor leagues? Or was he in the bullpen all game today?
Who do you fink we are? Baggage handuhluhs?
