  1. Never ask a woman her age, a man his salary, or Andrew Kittredge which side he was a general on in the battle of Gettysburg.

But he sure has been a solid BP pick up, considering how a lot of the other deadline arms that moved have fared

  2. Really nice win considering how that top of the 1st went. Boyd is clearly hitting/about to hit a wall, so good on him that he was able to get through five and keep things relatively good after the Morel homer.

Small sample size, but it might not be a bad idea to consider what the back end of the bullpen is gonna look like the rest of the way with Hodge looking sharp again and Kittredge doing a nice and quick job to nail down the last two saves.

  3. ‘Member when there were rumblings of trading Nico (to the Mariners I think) at the start of the year, and some people in here thought that was a good idea?

And holy shit, bullpen. 4 innings, 0 hits, 0 walks, 5 K’s. Just dominance.

  4. Happ is gonna end up with the same numbers he ends up with every year. The most consistent streaky hitter I’ve ever seen. I look forward to us all begging for him to be DFA’d again at some point next season

  5. I like PCA, but I’d rather see ANYONE else on the offense come to bat with runners on base right now.

  6. Man, absolutely spaced on the game today trying to get some stuff done around the house.

Always fine with missing a game if we W.

  7. I get it he probably doesn’t have a spot right now but mo should be on the roster the rest of the year. Batting .500 his last three games with two huge rbi knocks.

  8. Two of their last 3 games they’ve scored 6 runs. Hopefully the offense is starting to wake up. PCA needs to come out of his slump

  9. I gotta give Counsell some credit. I was certain that after Palencia went down he’d move Keller to the closer role. But instead he’s looking at the hard outs to get and making sure Keller is in there for them, regardless of the inning. So far it’s worked

Kittredge has been sharp in the closer role as well. Those 2 make a good tandem.

  10. How can a team constantly get all the breaks? Brewers tonight. 4 runs on two walks, an error on a bunt loading the bases, another walk, a sac fly that scores 2 when the throw home hits the runner, and a grounder to 1st, hit too soft to get an out at home. Zero hard hit balls, an error, three walks a sac fly, and a fielders choice, no out recorded.
