Can the Chiefs GET REVENGE on the Eagles in Week 2? 🔥 ‘I’M CONCERNED!’ – Harry Douglas | Get Up
Some bold predictions from Mike T. Mike T, give me one. Jets Bills this weekend. What do you think, Greeny? You’re going to like this. The Jets beat the Bills. And let me tell you why. Justin Fields is going to run for at least 100 yards. If you look for a vulnerability in this Bills defense, they have struggled defending rushing quarterbacks. Uh Kyler Murray average over 11.4 yards. Lamar Jackson last two games 11.7 yards per rush. So, as well as Justin Fields threw the ball against Pittsburgh, I think he’s going to beat the uh Bills with his legs. Bart, I I’ve got too many people up here telling me the Jets are live in this game. It makes me nervous. What do you think? Well, they’re always live against the Bills. They’ve played them competitively for the last couple years. They’ve turned Josh Allen over a lot and I don’t see that slowing down with Will McDonald coming out with two sacks showing how explosive he is. But the addition of Harrison Phillips have freed Quinnon Williams and Germaine Johnson own Spencer Brown and he is having nightmares right now. He’s stiff as a board. All right, so we got the Jets beating the Bills for number one. Mike T, give me another one. Give me the other New York team. Jackson Dart on Monday will be announced as the New York Giants starter by Brian Dball. He should have done it three months ago. Russell Wilson had a really good career, but he was terrible against the Commanders. Sacked twice. They couldn’t move the ball. I don’t expect that to be any bit better against Dallas this week. This is a no-brainer. What are we waiting for? Trager, you buy it? I buy the the fact that Jackson Dark could be starting. I think the timeline has been expedited and I think there’s a real opportunity. I would also argue I don’t know if Joe Montana, Steve Young, Michael Vic, or anybody was doing anything behind that Giants offensive line on Sunday. Russell Wilson is not fully to blame. That was a complete complete disaster. And I wouldn’t point it just at the quarterback. All the good vibes the Giants had for the entirety of camp disappeared. Three hours. Three hours. Three hours. Three months of hype and positivity and all this love. Three hours is all it took for Giants fans to be looking at apple picking dates. That’s known as a New York minute. That’s That’s exactly right. All right. Last one. Mike T. Super Bowl rematch. Yep. The Kansas City Chiefs are going to beat the Eagles Greeny and it’s going to validate about upfront football. Meaning the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line is better. Most notably, Josh Simmons at left tackle. And this great Philadelphia Eagle pass rush that dominated the Super Bowl wasn’t the same against Dallas. Milton Williams is gone. Josh Sweat is gone. Brandon Graham has retired. And I think that’s going to be the difference in the game. I know Kansas City may not have all their weapons, but give me a wellprotected Patrick Mahomes. Harry, but that’s a big deal to me. Like you watch it the the last two games that we’ve seen the Chiefs play and no one is taking anything away from what they are. They’re dynastic. They’re brilliant. They’re all of that. They’ll figure it out. But for them, it’s championship or nothing with the what with what they have on the outside. Are they ready to go back and try and make this run again? I I I don’t know if I can say that right now. I don’t feel too confident. Now, when they get Rasheed Rice back and you know Xavier Worthy is going to be 1,000% healthy, then maybe yes. But right now, I am concerned about this wide receiver group. And Patrick Mahomes, look at that game versus the Los Angeles Chargers. He had to pull a rabbit out his behind three or four times and make miraculous plays for them to even look feasible on offense. But here’s the thing about Kansas City. Get back to the basics. Run the football. Get Isaiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt going. Mahomes was the leading rusher versus the Chargers with 57 yards. But then here’s the second thing about the Philadelphia defense. Attacker Dory Jackson. He is the corner that is opposite Quan Mitchell. He was targeted seven times for 103 yards versus the Dallas Cowboys. That’s the way that Kansas City can win this football game. Granny, yeah, here’s here’s a little bit of that. We talked about it that whoever was going to be starting opposite Quinon Mitchell and it was a Dory Jackson and we’ll show you some of the plays the Cowboys were able to make against him will have it spot shadowed so you can get a full sense of where that deficiency is. Peter, to me the question, I get it and it makes sense. The question is, are the Chiefs right this minute equipped to take advantage of that? Particularly, is he playing as is as is worthy is listed as he practiced? I would be I would be very surprised if he was out there on Sunday. Oh, he practiced. But but but greedy, I will tell you this, we got a couple Well, we got B as a defensive player here. Xavier Worthy will garner attraction whether he gets the ball or not. So, he helps the team even if he doesn’t get the ball. And to Harry’s point, the whole overlay about what we’re talking about running the ball, it comes back to this is a better offensive line. So even without Worthy, it’s gonna make a big difference if Mahomes has time. My frustration with this is all off season we talked about how Mahomes didn’t have the weapons last year, didn’t have the weapons this last year. There could have been a move to be made and now already you’re looking without Rasheed Rice for the first few games and now Xavier Worthy might not be out there. Now we’re talking ourselves into, okay, Adori Jackson isn’t great, so Ju Guu Smith Schustster is gonna go have a big game. Is he? This is what’s going to be the holdup for the Chiefs to me. Do they have that exploit? We know they’ve got the winning abilities. Do they have the players? Do they have the horses? And do they have the players when injuries happen, which they have been snake bitten with injuries on offense the last few years. They they won a Super Bowl when we thought they were going to rebuild and was going to be a step back. So they understand Andy Reid has a game plan that whatever the personnel he has that he can be effective. And if you have a guy like a Dory Jackson, that is a that’s going to stick out like a sore thumb. They’re going to attack him every single way that they can. You know, the only difference is on the other side, Jon Taylor’s really struggled. You know, you talk about protection pract. He did not. So, he’ll be out there. So, I’m hearing they need to get the the Chiefs need to get the running game going against the Eagles. Can they do that with that monster of a man looking to make amends in the middle of the defense? I mean, Trey Smith is a dude, right? I mean, Creed Humphre is a dude. I I I don’t worry about that. I understand, you know, how how effective he is, how disruptive he is, and but I don’t know if they have the elite pass rushers on the outside to be able to benefit from the fact that you’re going to put two guys on him to win that one-on-one coverages. And I and and for me, Jaylen Herz didn’t really particularly play well his first game either throwing the football. He’s real with his legs. But, you know, Jaylen Carter is a disruptive guy and they but I think that the perfect team that matches up with them is the Chiefs because the strength of their team is their interior. So, get the picks up on the screen because I’m just looking down here and I’m fascinated. I I am very surprised at all of the red up there. You you you were telling me in the meeting this morning, which I I will buy, why it is you’re willing to give Casey a little bit of a pass. Friday night was wacko stuff. Friday night is not what’s supposed to I understand the Chargers also had to play there. Someone had to win. But when you’re going to your first game and it’s on a Friday night, it’s in Brazil, your hotel is God knows how far from the field, you’re getting there, you’re on short rest, you’re trying to figure out your jet lag. Let’s let’s cut them a little bit of slack. I know you’re on the violin. I get it. But let’s at least see Momes and Kelsey and those guys at home in an actual real game in a real time. I’m not taking it away from the Chargers. I get it. They outplayed him. Wait, you had Zack Pearlman over here? What going on like that reference? another statement win and you can see the fans in Green Bay who are a unique bunch have this fence. Thank you, Jerry. And it as I was looking at that video in our break, Peter, the thought jumped into my head. Could this be the second season in a row we have something like this? Last year the whole the story of the league was Saquon Barkley new place dominating leading a team to a championship. Is Micah this year’s Seaquan? It’s eerily similar in that Joe Shane was on Hard Knocks the Giants GM and we had it all on video. We had him saying the words that were going to move on from Saquon. So, it was almost like this smoking gun of here’s the mistake that was made. Jerry has so many quotes on camera and so many things in paper that he actually has said we’re better off with Micah. We need to improve the rushing game, the run defense game. Kenny Clark improves us. It’s all right there. We saw it all on video. Micah Parsons could be the Saquon Barkley of this season. Which leads me to ask you Mike Tanab like inside that building right if you’re inside the Cowboys building and they’ve got their game with the Giants to deal with and we’re going to come we’re going to make picks on all these. We’ll get to the Cowboys in a minute. But if you’re not Jerry Jones, if you’re someone else in that building and you’re watching Micah right now becoming the story of the league, what thoughts are going through your mind? Massive regret that again how we approach things strategically. Greeny puts us at a massive competitive disadvantage. When you have a future Hall of Famer by any metric who’s 26 years old and you hit on your own first round pick, sign him right now. A year ago, they should have signed him. The fact that it got this far, we talked about it for months. Greeny Dick Boser was at 35 million. Now we’re all the way up to 47 million. It is as deflating to the Dallas Cowboys as it is invigorating to the Green Bay Packers. They are human. They all saw that game last night. He’s a great player that makes everybody else around him better. I mean, but he didn’t make the the Dallas defense that great. They still got the ball ran down their throat. So, it’s like one of those things. They weren’t winning with them. It’s not like they had the number one. Yes, they were. When Dak Prescott was healthy, they were going to the playoffs. They won 12 games three years in a row with with or whatever it was with Micah at the beginning of his career. And they got sent home because Green Bay did what to him? Ran the ball at Michael Parson. Okay. So, it can work out for both teams. We we can’t determine who wins this trade into what we see Dallas does. I push back Bart because in week one on Thursday Night Football when Jaylen Herz was standing back there with all kind and then he did rush for touchdowns. It was because you didn’t have that relentless pursuit from a guy like Michael Parson. So Jerry is willing to die on a hill that I’m not willing to sitting here continuously saying that hey we’re going to get multiple players. You have a generational type player. You don’t trade a player like that and and you just don’t do it. And and if you do, Peter said earlier in the show, Greeny, 70 cents on the dollar. I would probably go 50 cents on the dollar. Why not trade him to the 88? Yeah. Why don’t you just trade him to the AFC and then and and those two first round picks are going to be really low pick, but there’s no need to relitigate it. I just think it’s an interesting storyline to watch all season long. We talked about Mike. I want to go to the other side. So, we’re having breakfast this morning. A delightful egg white omelette courtesy of our our friend Beggy Benny, the the omelette chef upstairs. And Harry’s sitting there on his phone and he just turns to me and he goes, “Greenie, Matt Lafleur put on a master class last night. What were you watching?” Yeah. Number one, your job as a offensive coordinator in a play call is to put your players in positions to have success. This first play is going to be a third and three situation. You’re going to see them send this receiver in motion across the field. The Washington Commanders, the DB, he’s in man coverage in trail technique. The receiver is going to run a six-yd out and it’s literally like taking candy from a baby greeny. Look how easy this is for the receiver and Jordan Love to complete. First down, Green Bay. Now, the second play that I have, they’re backed up in their own territory. And watch the eyes of Jordan Love. He’s going to tell this receiver, “Hey, come in and block this safety.” But the the safety falls for the banana in the tailpipe. Watch Tucker Craft. Be detail oriented in your work. Make it look like run blocking. Did a great job. Next thing you know, he’s catching the ball behind the line of scrimmage. This is a 15yd gain for the Green Bay Packers. They go out on this drive and score a touchdown. Now, the next play I really, really love. You’re going to motion this wide receiver across the formation. You’re gonna create a 4×1 uh formation. They’re going to run triple seam. You’re going to see the vacated area for this tight end to catch this football. Jordan Love definitely is not going to miss this one. Another explosive play for the Green Bay Packers. Matt Laflur is running a master class. He was three steps ahead of the Washington Commanders head coach and also defensive coordinator. He’s playing chess. Everybody else is playing checkers. Is it even Checkers? It’s It’s not. I think it’s like um Pick Six or Battleship or or maybe even Candyland. That’s Yeah, I go I go Candyland cuz it’s like taking candy from a baby. Like when you talk about it, just talk about intimate knowledge about what Dan Quinn’s principles are. Because when you send a guy in motion and it makes a bunch a mini bunch, a bunch is three receivers with inside a short area. You got to press the point. You got to throw the timing off and play area. It was all schematics. I mean, it it was a master class. understanding what their rules were from the Washington side. So, here’s another thing. What I love about Matt Laflur as well, when they had had success with five or six plays in the first half, guess what they did in the second half? They ran those bad boys over again. He didn’t say, “Hey, let’s just see how many plays we can run and come up with.” No. If something had success in the first half, they ran it again in the second half. And they continuously hit them all night long. They they they they pointed out repeatedly on the telecast last night on prime that Bart Star won a Super Bowl at the age of 27. It was an NFL championship then. It was before the Super Bowl. Brett Favre won a Super Bowl at 27. Aaron Rogers won a Super Bowl at 27. And during this season, Jordan Love will turn 27. Maybe history repeats itself. Final word. And why sustainable Greeny is Christian Watson was hurt, Dantarius Wick gets hurt, and now we’re talking about Tucker Craft. Every week it’s somebody else made those a parlay. They’re on ESPN Bed Sportsbook right now at plus 541. Look for the more or less featured parlay on the homepage and in the parlay lounge. Meanwhile, we mentioned Pickins. I want to dive into that game a minute here. Giants Cowboys and Harry have been waiting all week to get you in here. I want to show a tape that Dan Orloski brought to the show the other day and it was something that I hadn’t really seen much coverage of. The Cowboy game was a whole week ago already, but he pointed out a few plays in which George Pickkins does not appear to be giving maximum effort. You played the position. Let’s roll the tape. I want you to tell us what you see, Harry. So, number one here, you’re going to see George Pickkins at the top of the screen. This safety is coming down to fit the run. You have an opportunity, if you’re George Pickkins, to earhole that guy because every opportunity he gets to take your head off and delete you, he’s going to do it. Here’s another uh version of it right here. Don’t take plays off. Why are you letting this safety off the hook and allowing him to just take a play off? I don’t like it from George Pickkins. And then also, if they throw this bubble screen to a guy that’s in the same re receiver room as you, and you’re lolly gagging and not blocking for him and he gets blowed up, I’m going to be upset if I’m any other receiver in that room. And here’s this one right here. Just let me go through the motions. I’m not getting the football. Let me just jog through things. It all comes down to this greening. They’re trying to change the culture in Dallas. You cannot be onedimensional in this league. Brian Shottenheimimer is trying to run the football. You You want to know who’s a part of the run game as well? The wide receivers when quarter cover quarters coverage is there and that safety is coming down to knock that running back out. The receiver must do his job. What if that that running back breaks free and your your guy is the man tackling the the the play every time. You don’t want to be that guy in the film room. For a guy to be in a contract year, Yeah. and to take plays off, I don’t like it. I played the game with Rody White and Julio Jones. You know what those two guys took pride in doing? Blocking. Blocking damn DBs when they had the opportunity. You want to know why our receiver group was one of the most feared one in the National Football League? Because we’ll knock your block off every chance we had. George Picking, he has to have that mindset. So watching that is disappointing. The other one, it’s it’s the blocking and then it’s the not giving effort, not selling out when the ball’s not coming to you because you’re just sort of motioning to the defense that you’re not a part of it. So, if you’re on that team, look, we just went through this in Pittsburgh. We literally went through this. Here we are, week one. Like, what do the leaders of that team need to do? You got to bring them to the front of the congregation. We got to have a closed meeting talk. Like, listen, you can do it or not do it, but um it’s going to be some consequences. And if we got to throw hands, we can throw hands, but this this not acceptable here. You might be able to get away with that somewhere else, but we not going to tolerate it. And Shotti’s going to have to back them up, you know, because this is the thing. Not only talking about the penalty that he got when he just grabbed Cooper and the the gene, you know, down there when they when they were in scoring position, you better Yeah. Damn defender, right? So, you know, you got to understand it ain’t always about you, right? It ain’t all this this ain’t the greatest show on turf where we’re going to throw the ball 50 times, right? But we need you to do your job. It comes with two things. Number one, the word trust. Y can I trust you, George Pickkins, as a coach, as a teammate to do your job every single play? What are you willing to sacrifice for us to be great? It’s bigger than the individual. I agree. When we would trade for him, I would say to him very simply, and I said it to San Antonio Holmes, Brilen Edwards, amongst others, like, let me give you the answers to the test. We’re going to try to sign you. There’s a salary cap. Every play you put on tape is a job interview. Do 31 other teams want to sign you? So, the pen is in your hands. What do you want people to think of you? That said, and we could put the picks up on the screen here quickly. Do we think the Cowboys Well, there it is. We think the Cowboys bounce back big against a Giants team that really struggled week one. Giants need this one, too. And the Giants do have a very formal front four, but it didn’t feel that way against the Commanders. It did not feel like this is the greatest defense we’ve ever seen. [Music]

Imagine being 19/23 (82.6%), no turnovers. And hearing you didnt play well. Theres literally nothing hurts can do to prevent being hated on by sports media outlets. Its insane
Mike Tannenbaum knows nothing about football. How was he ever a GM?
The Giants best 4 pass rushers played 8 snaps total together. Our defensive coordinator sold our defense and then the offense didnt help
Bart Scott talking about Creed Humphrey and Tre smith like they didn’t get dog walked in the Super Bowl too.. get these Jets fans off the show.
Dart should not start he should have this season to learn the offense
Mike T just got caught box score watching lmao. Jalen Carter didn’t play a single snap and that Eagles defensive line was definitely getting pressures without him. NOW IMAGINE WHEN CARTER PLAYS!!!!
How does bart Scott still have a job
hey Peter, the Chargers had the exact same conditions as the Chiefs. Stop making excuses for them. They are a team on decline.
"Jalen Hurts didnt play well." 🙄
Bart is such a big a** kid .. Fn troll
Its the new thing to give away Penn State products. Nittany Lion Domination
Mike Tannenbaum is a dumbazz….the KC Chiefs O-Line was below average at best in week one against the Chargers. How does that show you that their O-Line is better than last season? Rookie LT Simmons had 2 false starts and gave up 4 QB pressures. He was ranked 65th of 81 tackles rated by PFF week 1. Also, Kingsley Samuamatai who plays next to JS as the Left Guard was ranked 43rd out of 78 guards who played week 1. Also, they are both only 22 years old with limited experience. Hey Mike T, be better and stop shoving your entire head up the Chiefs azz…..smh
Mike T and the Haters! lol Go Birds!!
Pickins was a head case in Pittsburgh. Nothing will change. I love it! 💚🦅 Fly EAGLE'S Fly 🦅💚
Mike tannenbaum is such an idiot. How is he on tv?
These clowns are unbelievable talking about the eagles like this. It has to be pure ragebait at this point.
Mike T openly said KC has a superior offensive line compared to the Eagles. Mike T validates being fired twice as GM every time he opens his mouth.
considering the chiefs showed the whole world just how “good” they actually are, without help from refs should tell you everything. chiefs are a garbage football team. their week 1 performance was hilarious. felt like i was watching a little league team.
😂 These dudes have no clue how good the Eagles actually are. Now Jalen Hurts didn't play well. Get these people off TV please. Stop paying them for these horrific opinions based on literally nothing.
Chiefs offensive line is better? Based on what? Feelings?
Thanks bart Scott because he just making excuses for chiefs as if the chargers didn’t have to go through all the same things tired of the excuses
1:55 What a horrific take omg
30-18 eagles win
KC is gonna get smashed
Hollywood Brown is being talked about like Art Monk in Washington cause it was Ricky Sanders or Gary Clark not Art Monk I feel 4 U Hollywood 🏈⛓🎞
Does this fool realize Jalen Carter didn’t play last week smh 😂😂😂
Terrible take by Mike T of course the D didn't look the same Jalen wasn't there and will be vs the Chiefs heh the Eagles win 30-27
Bart is insufferable – all of his takes are "What did the last guy say? I'm going to disagree with that because I'm trying to go viral"
This seems very familiar…same thing these ppl did with the superbowl
I like how they said the whales line wasn’t as good … bruh carter wasn’t in
Bart Scott is a clown!
5:56 Jalen hurts didn’t play well. Wow it’s amazing eagles just won the Super Bowl being a run first offense and this guy still thinks throwing the ball 8,000 yards is the only way to win
Anything Mike T says , I take the complete opposite
its amazing to me to listen to all of these “experts” sound like they’ve never watched any of these teams. wth
Jalen Hurts didn’t pass the ball well??? Thats my EXACT point. Dudes are so out of touch. Disappointed
And why don’t they talk to the viewers? They address “Greeney” every time they say something. They need his approval?
Mike T make sure Yu apologize when my Eagles beat them broken arrows😈😈😈
Mike taanbuam hates the eagles. Always goes against them
🦅🥱
Can't wait for Fields to look like garbage again and the Jets to get smoked like usual…
Bills 42-6 EASY… and I’m a Chiefs fan. Not Jets are not in the same
League as the Bills.
GREEN BAY AND DALLAS WILL MEET AGAIN……..
BART SCOTT HATE THE BROTHERS
I think I will take the opposite of whatever Bart Scott bets. He’s been wrong a lot.
Carter will be back they getting to Pat
5:45 They don’t have the elite pass rushing ability WITH JALEN CARTER lol this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about at all
That’s why he don’t got a job now
Trey got bodied in the Super Bowl stop it Bart 😂😂😂
We hav da same d line from last year plus more u just didnt c it bc da best DT we hav was out no sht it’s gon look different & we actually hav better edges 💯 lost 1 edge & replaced him wit 4 more… Z smith, azeez , uche & ogbo… uche was rank the highest defensive players in week 1 without JC… JD was suppose to hav 2 sacks but somehow dak got away… & idc I think the cb2 is already on da team just not playin bc he came late
