Why is Jensen up if they’re not going to play him?
What?
On the one hand, playing the best we have against one of the NL’s top contenders seems advisable to keep our waning playoff hopes alive.
On the other hand, it’s interleague play, the Phillies are really good, and they’re probably gonna roll our shit in any case, so why not let the kids play?
Yeah I don’t get it. play the kids or don’t. But why half ass it both ways. Cag as DH is basically already throwing the game. Let them all play if we’ve given up. Let none of them play if we haven’t.

A legit question: has Jensen caught any of these guys before?
Because trying to learn on the job in a pennant race is an awful way to learn tendencies and preferences.
Until it’s over and they’re eliminated, Jensen should only be catching pitchers he knows.
