What is going on guys? Brad here for pits.com and I got a pick in this Diamondbacks versus Twins game going down on Saturday, September 13th, 2025. You will find all my plays there. But let’s get right into this one, guys. We got the Diamondbacks and the Twins going at it. This will be game two of the series. These teams do play a game on Friday. I’m recording this Friday afternoon, so I don’t know what the result of that game will be, but at least it’s a game two. And if you guys see, I’m looking down right now because I want to see what the playoffs are looking like for the NL. Obviously, this game doesn’t mean [ __ ] for the Twins. Their season is absolutely cooked. But the Diamondbacks are currently three games back. Just three games back. Um, so they have a shot. They have a shot. This game means a lot to them. This series is absolutely massive for them. And luckily for the Diamondbacks, they are matched up with a team like the Twins that, like I said, have already packed it in. This team has been horrific down the stretch. And a team that I don’t want to back right now. This is a Twins team that’s two and uh two-8 straight up in their last 10. Um whereas the Diamondbacks five and five straight up in their last 10. They did lose a series against the Giants um this week. It was in it was at Oracle. Kind of a tough series for them. So, they’re looking to bounce back. They need a big one here. They are going against Joe Ryan for the Twins, which not the easiest matchup. Um, Joe Ryan is, in my opinion, still one of the better guys in this Twins rotation, but with that being said, Joe Ryan has definitely kind of came down to earth. You know, Joe Ryan, I I looked at him as kind of a premier pitcher all season long until probably a couple months ago. It kind of seemed like after the trade deadline, we saw the Twins make a bunch of moves. They started losing games. Their season just kind of took a [ __ ] And Joe Ryan, I’m not going to say he kind of gave up on the teams, but he’s really not pitching with that same intensity. He just doesn’t look like the same guy at all. He’s given up five or more runs in three of his last five starts. It’s tough. You know, Joe Ryan comes into this one with a 62 er his last five starts. Brutal. On the other hand, you do got Ryan Nelson on the mount for the Dbacks. I mean, he’s been all right. You know, he was he was a little bit better in the beginning of the season. He is coming off a solid start giving up one ear and run against the Red Sox. We’ll see if he’s able to kind of carry that momentum into this one. But I really don’t care who’s pitching, guys. I don’t care. I’m taking the Diamondbacks here. This game just means so much more to them. They’re in much better form. Like I said, the Twins have absolutely packed it up. There’s not many teams I would I mean even if it was like Rocky’s Twins I would probably lean the Rockies. Like that’s how that’s how bad I I think this Twin team is right now. So I’m going to be on the Diamondbacks even even with the Twins having the better pitcher. Joe Ryan just hasn’t looked that great. So or hasn’t looked that great as of late. Like there’s no question Joe Ryan’s a more talented pitcher than Ryan Nelson. I’m I’m not saying that. But yeah, it it’s diamond backs for nothing for me. It’s it’s as simple as that.
