Tyler Booker: We Can Be More Physical | Dallas Cowboys 2025

what this team wants to be. Yeah, we want to be known as one of the most physical teams in the NFL. And I feel like that only happens with us practicing as hard as we do, coming in with the intentions of being a physical team. Like that’s a part of our identity. That’s something that we spoke about earlier and that’s what we want to be known as. So, in order to be seen as one of the most physical teams, we have to play like and I feel like we play very physical on Thursday and we just have to build upon it this Sunday. You feel like it’s a good starting point at least? And I mean there’s no moral victories I guess but you know at least you know to start out week one and set that tone good about it at least or no? I mean I mean we lost you know what I mean but there are positives to take away from the game and one of those positives is how physical we were for me. No problem. Of course. No problem. This has already come up but how did your first game there and what you thought it might be? Um it was very exciting. I I don’t think I could ask for um a better environment, better circumstance for the first game, you know, just me playing in SEC, playing in some of the most rockous environments of sports, and then getting that same kind of environment playing um at the Eagle Stadium after they just won a Super Bowl. So, I I I just love playing in competitive environments like that. So, it was a lot of fun. Um I feel like I definitely need to get better at a lot of things. So, I’m not going to sit here and tell you it was my worst game that I’ve ever played, but at the same time, for where I want to be, for who I want to be, I feel a lot better than what I played on Thursday. Sean said the physical part of it was happy with Do you feel like you guys were physical enough? I feel like I could be more physical, but as a team, I feel like we were physical. Would you compare any nervousness factor going into this versus going into like your first college? Um, I was definitely probably a little bit more nervous going into my first college game only because um, just that I there’s a there’s a big jump from high school to college and there’s also another big jump from college to the NFL. But playing in the SEC, playing against similar talent that I’ll be playing against week in and week out, I feel like that definitely helped prepare me for what I would see on Thursday and the rest of my career.
