hitter number 99, Harry Judge. [Applause] And deep down inside, you know, it feels good to get booed by your rival, right? That means they respect you. Swinging a miss by Judge Jarrett Fenway. He’s only at 203 in his career. That’s his worst at any major league venue, but a 322 average. leads all of baseball this season. And Judge rips one out toward left center field. This one headed way back beyond the monster as Aaron Judge catapults the Yankees to a one- nothing lead. One big swing at Fenway to pass Jolton Joe on the alltime Yankee home run list number 362. [Applause] Only Ruth, Mantle, and Garrick stand above Judge. Here’s a check swing bouncer in a perfect spot from Ben Rice. He has a base hit after the Judge home run. I said it in the open, Wayne. He’s starting to swing the bat like he did in the first half. That’s a mistake. a foreseen fast ball right over the heart of the plate and he stood up on him because he knew that baseball was into the night. Not coming back. That’s a pretty swing. 2. The difference is that neither Joe DiMaggio nor any of the players he passed had juiced baseballs while they played. His "mark" on Yankees lore is tainted, but Yankee fans, nor any of the sports writers, have the integrity to admit it. MLB did him a disservice by juicing baseballs so he could hit 60 homers in a single season, and that puts him right there with the other juice squad.

  3. Joe D's HR total seems low, but that's because he missed three prime years to WW2. Age 28, 29, and 30, which could have been three of his best seasons, he lost to war. I just wanted to point out about Joe D because he has become criminally underrated. Congratulations to Capt. Judge!

  4. Joltin' Joe was known for his long home runs. Did he not actually hit one completely out of Yankee Stadium once? Fitting that the one Judge hits to pass him is one of the longest home runs I've seen from him. I know it said 442 but ESPN clocked it at 468…wow.
