Are the Brewers Legit?

Are the Brewers a legitimate World Series contender? Absolutely. I mean, they’ve they’ve proven, I think, that they’re they’re contenders. I mean, they they don’t have as much talent. They don’t have the payroll. Uh I don’t think anybody would take the Brewers against the field or anything like that, but they they have those intangibles that sometimes clubs that don’t have as much talent as other clubs find a way to keep winning. And I I wouldn’t be shocked if they took this all the way to the World Series. Yeah, I I wouldn’t be either. I mean, there’s a bit of a stigma against the Brewers that, you know, they’ll put up these really good regular seasons and then they find a way to kind of melt in in the playoffs and they need to get past that. But they’ve changed over their manager. They have a lot of new parts.

Something is brewing in Milwaukee

  1. This is my biggest fear they gonna do all this get my hopes up for them not to be able to do anything in the playoffs and that’s gonna piss me off

  2. I’m getting tired of the “they don’t have as much talent” argument. Baseball talent comes in many different forms. The truth is that people have gotten used to seeing baseball talent as hitting home runs on offense, and striking people out when you’re on defense. Those are only 2 of the talents that it takes to be good at baseball. I understand that when people say the Brewers have “less talent” than other teams, what they are really trying to say, unless they are just downright wrong, is that the Brewers have less high-paid, top end talent than other teams. But let’s kill the narrative and dispel the rumor that the Brewers are doing this with less talent than other teams. If you watch the Milwaukee Brewers play, their entire game plan is predicated on having a lot of baseball talent. They do all of the fundamentals and basics right, and not only that, they do it better than everyone else. So essentially, they play the game of baseball better than any other team that sends out 9 guys this season. That sounds like talent to me. And the thing that makes them even better, is the fact that their gameplan is to not only play better baseball than their opponent, their gameplan is to force their opponents to play the game of baseball and do the little things better than the Brewers. And the proof is in the pudding so far, cause it doesn’t seem like many teams, if any, can keep up with the Brewers when it comes to how they play

  3. The Crew has a very good TEAM. Great formula for a championship. They remind me of the 2004 Detroit Pistons who beat the Kobe and Shaq Lakers in the NBA Finals. 2 different sports but same concept

  4. The brewers play team and situational baseball on offense and defense…. They can win a World Series because they don’t rely on 1 or 2 sluggers everyone is a threat to at least get on base, due to keeping the ball in play… mixed with great base running and defense as well as very reliable pitching!

  5. If you don't come with your "A game" the Brewers will beat you. Everything experts say you need to win a World Series, the Brewers have except power hitters. They have a bunch of 5'7 guys just getting it done! October will be interesting!

  6. What more do the brewers need to do? Three 8 game + winning streaks. Sweeping the top 2 payrolls (Dodgers and Mets). Dominating, probably the best pitcher (Paul Skenes).
