Season has already been over for a while anyway.
I’d heard he wasn’t responding to treatment like they wanted.
I don’t even know why this was a question. We’re not doing anything this year. Go give him a head start on next year.
Good he has no business playing injured in a season where we’re already out of the playoffs.
Another silver lining of sorts is maybe getting him a head start for working on the next level of the batting side of his game.
A third is giving Saggs a few weeks of straight play to see more of what he might offer ahead.
