  1. Shaw has turned back into a pumpkin, as has most of the lineup. If the bullpen isn’t lights out these guys can’t win games.

  2. Having guys on first and third, no outs and not tie? That’s bad. Tough loss.

Fairbanks completely bottling it and we bottle it even worse. Terrible ABs after Willi.

  3. Pete Fairbanks looks like he would steal you and your friends lunch money

Today he stole our happiness on Anthony Rizzo day

  4. I feel bad for anyone at the game outside of the Rizzo stuff

This team is just last years team + Tucker. No offense, fake rallies, choking bullpen when it matters most, mediocre pitching

  5. C’mon man, how you gonna do fuck all with 1st and 3rd, no outs. Then again, you don’t expect to win many games getting outhit 14 to 6.

  6. That’s why even though we’re going to make the playoffs and will probably get 90 wins but theres like no enthusiasm for this team. That 9th inning is the perfect example, just can’t get it together

  7. Good teams can lose games like this. Special teams wouldn’t. This team is really good, just not special

  8. The last highlight showed Swanson stealing second base with no outs. Why didn’t we just bunt twice to tie the game?

  9. They had the Rays closer on the ropes and couldn’t break through with a run. Bullpen couldn’t keep the lead for once. Get the series win tomorrow

  10. God this team has absolutely no juice, can barely get excited for wild card. Rizzo home run was awesome atleast

  11. I thought I was going to be sorta OK even with a loss today because it was an otherwise fun and entertaining game. But then that 9th happened and now I’m mad about it

  12. Can someone who knows more than me tell me if it matters anymore if we win or lose at this point? We won’t win the division or lose the wild card spot regardless.

  13. Crowd didn’t deserve to see them lose like that. Probably the best one I’ve been a part of this season.

  14. The Cubs are still playoff bound even if it they are dragged kicking and screaming into the playoffs

  15. Sucks, but I still had fun because of the Rizzo stuff. So happy to see him entering an ambassador’s role with the team.
