Funny thing is, if Drake ends up being our franchise QB, that draft class will still be considered a success
This is basically every draft class we’ve had since Eliot Wolf got hired. Maybe one solid starter in a class full of dogshit
Good stuff
I’d be curious to see this compared to other teams draft picks from the season before a regime change. I guess it’s not Apples to Apples since Wolf is the through line and I imagine most aren’t nearly this extreme. But it would be interesting for posterity.
This will be wolf’s last season with the patriots
I’m glad we moved on from baker and Polk. Williams, Boutte and Pop are young and could contribute to our team for years to come.
You should see the draft thread from last year in here you’d laugh your balls off.
Why is a 3rd round pick being a backup in red?
Realistically, we won’t make the playoffs within the next 2-3 years after having the worst NFL drafts over the past half decade.
2025-
Campbell- starter
Henderson- backup
Williams- backup
Wilson- starter
Woodson- starter
Farmer- backup
Swinson- PS
Borregales- starter
Bryant- backup
Ashby- starter
Minor- practice squad
It’s better so far, I guess, but I am a bit concerned that the 2025 class *may* not be much better as things stand so far.
That’s why we Suk
Oh wow I thought Polk was on IR. I wish him luck with the Saints.
Forget Wolf it’s pathetic that Groh is still here. Just remember you can suck at your job and as long as the CEO likes you you’re set.
Yeesh
Javon baker is currently on the eagles practice squad
Kinda unfair to put guys on IR in red.
Also, a 3rd rounder as a backup in their second year is typical.
Only success so far is Maye being a starter and getting some draft compensation for Milton having a good game. Outside of that pretty fucking awful.
Go back even further it’s still bad
Worse than the late stage Belichick drafts. A fireable offense tbh – especially considering where they were drafting!
I wonder how Wolf still has a job. Like, probably the worst GM in the history of sports, why does Kraft keep him around. I wonder if they know each other from Early Life or something.
Belichick could hide the poor drafting during his tenure with patch players. The current management has a much more difficult time with it.
2023 and 2025 look good
My dumbass really thought baker and Polk were the future, I was also a Mac jones and nkeal believer.
What a wasted, second round pick man. How many years is it going to take to recover from such bad drafting year after year?
Polk and Baker turned out to be terrible picks, but pretending these outcomes are all the same is just stupid
Milton – 6th rounder trader for plus value
Wallace – still on the team. OL depth has some value. Not like he was a 1st rounder.
Robinson/Dial – injuries happen
Bell – 7th round flyer didn’t stick. Shocker.
Depressing this team is doomed for the next few years. 😟
I swear those 5th and 6th picks better hit like a mfer
It’s truly impressive anyone associated with this draft class has a job
Gaddamn
Can’t really Belicheck for that class.
Maye was a gimme so yeah this is atrocious
Can someone post this graphic but include all Wolf’s draft classes side by side
Shit, had to go and check and see if it’s true. We traded the 2nd round pick for scraps after 1 year. Yikes
Are we done with the GM and front office? The 2022 & 2024 drafts provided this team with nothing but an unproven QB. What a disaster.
If you want the reason why we have been in the shitter, it’s draft classes like this. You absolutely need to hit on some of these, and they have been consistently bad.
Any one of us could have drafted better, just by looking at scouting reports, online. That’s not hyperbole. Most of these GM’s around the league are frauds. Wolf maybe the worst of them, though.
Another crap draft. Wonderful!
There was no need to trade Milton, but otherwise it was complete garbage

An awful draft class indeed outside of Maye
