The most shocking thing is hearing Paredes is doing defensive work. Is there a chance he actually could play 2B for us this season?
Who gets optioned when he returns, Trammel or Urias?
So what’s going to happen ? He comes back and then after a few starts he’ll have a sore leg and then they’ll have to amputate?
I’m a big fan of him going after the second opinion and rehabbing to come back. I really don’t want him to get hurt worse while doing it and losing him for more time next season but I think that he’ll be great when he comes back and I hope we can wrap him in bubble wrap for a bit to ease him back in. We need him and he wants to come back. I guess the question is how much time he spends at DH, whether he splits any time at his standard 3B sending Correa to 2B or 2B which he has played in the past long ago and leaving Correa at 3B. Regardless, if he plays the field, Altuve spends more time at DH or in LF. Might cause issues with Yordaddy spending time in LF or DH.
TL;DR is that I’m excited for his return but I’m also glad I’m not the manager figuring out where people fit into the lineup and field.
