VIKINGS-BEARS RECAP: WINNERS & LOSERS!
[Music] What’s going on, Jeromes? Never a doubt. Never a doubt that the haters and the losers are in shambles, right? As the Minnesota Fund Vikings have a massive comeback and win Monday Night Football 27-24 over the crooked Chicago Bears. And you almost feel bad for Bears fans almost, right? because they’re gonna ruin Caleb just like they ruined Justin Fields, just like they ruined Jay Cutler, just like they ruined every other quarterback that they want. And oh, Ben Johnson. Oh, here we go. After that first drive, you’re like, “Oh, who the man? We the man. Who the man?” I I don’t know why Chicago fans sound like a old like Vietnamese guy. Doesn’t matter. But baby, baby, baby, baby. And oh, what a debut for JJ McCarthy. Front of friends and family. No one told you life was gonna be this way and it was not great. And then all of a sudden the pick six and then and I actually think the pick six was good for him because you could tell like early in the game things were happening a little bit slower than usual. Little bit of nerves in and out of the huddle slow release a little bit slower than usual. Kind of surprising actually. And then all of a sudden the pick six happens and he’s like oh I can just play. And that’s exactly what happened. And also he set a record. JJ McCarthy’s first player since Cam Newton with two plus passing touchdowns and one rush touchdown in his NFL debut. All three of those touchdowns come in the fourth quarter. It’s pretty damn amazing. And the Vikings were down 17 to six. 12 minutes 15 seconds left. This is the NFC version of Bills Ravens except the Bears are going to go five and 12. I don’t know. But the Vikings came back and won and the defense and Flores, they buckled down and they they deserve a ton of credit, too. And it was good to go. So, we got winners and losers. But first off, be a winner. Producer Ally running a fantastic sale. Perf purple fdw.net. Link is down below. 15% off everything using promo code we back. And we are indeed back in a big way. Winners. So, number one is Jonathan James McCarthy, Esquire, MD. Yeah. So, you know, the numbers weren’t stunning were earthshattering. Like 13 of 20 for a buck 43, you know, two touchdowns that that pick 98.5 quarterback rating. Did have three sacks as well, ran ran in a touchdown. But just the way that they came about, all right, cuz if he scattered those stats over a full game, it’s whatever. But the fact that everything was so bad in the first half, the offense was inert. You had the pick six in the third quarter and you’re like, “Okay, today’s not our day.” All right. And also like the the Colin cow turds of the world’s just like, “I told you it’s not JJ McCarthy. They should have kept Darnold. They should have signed Rogers. They should have drafted Shador.” Shut up. Silencio for porqu senor McCarti su mar ombre uh k grande wvos trying to think of the Spanish word for hose doesn’t matter but you know the fact that he did all that in the fourth quarter because let’s be honest Kurt Cousins Sam Darnold probably just would wilted after the pick six. And frankly, a lot of young quarterbacks would have. And also, I I I don’t think I would have blamed JJ McCarthy. Like, hey, it’s not your day. Whatever. We’ll regroup. We’ll do better next time. But McCarthy got pissed. I mean, McCarthy straight up pissed. And we talked about like there’s something there’s something special about his mentality. Like he kind of goes back to the Romans, right? when they kept losing to the Carthaginians, lost battles to Hannibal, lost ships over and over. The victor is not victorious if the defeated does not see himself so or the vanquished does not see himself so or something like that. Paraphrasing, I screwed it up. But you’re only defeated if you accept that. And McCarthy was just like, “Nah, we’re not losing. We ain’t lose this game.” That’s great. Also, Eric Wilson. Hey, Mr. Wilson out there being a freaking machine, man. Uh had that uh block punt. Uh as well as how many tackles did he have? Wilson was just out there flying around. Five tackles, tackle for loss. He was fantastic. And plus, yeah, going to have to rely on Eric Wilson quite a bit because Blake Cashman with the hamstring probably going to be out six, seven weeks. Stinks. But Wilson, love having him back, man. It’s just he was a such a stabilizing force in the middle of that defense. since he was great. Will the thrill record uh good from 59 tied to Soldierfield record also on that terrible ass grass which is fantastic. Uh he was the offense in the first half. Miles Price, we got one. We got one. We’re Miles Price looking like prime Marcus Cheryl’s back there. The pride John Marshall High School Minnesota Golden Gophers walk on. But Miles Price the pride of Indiana go Hooers uh averaging 17 yards per punt return. Also, I’ll see he saved a bouncing punt, fielded it cleanly, had a return where it I think it might have hit one of the return men, one of the Vikings. So, absolutely fantastic there. Plus, Price is really good. We we’ve talked about the hidden yardage in returning punts and not all kick returns can be partners because it’s a completely different skill set. But not letting the ball bounce and judging the trajectory, where it’s going to end up, all of that hidden yardage in the game matters. And coaches certainly know it. Miles Price is fantastic. Jordan Mason the hammer. Doom Doom and Boom is looking really good. Actually, Law and Order is also really good, too. We may go back to that, but Mason was a hammer out there. 15 carries, 68 yards, 4 and a half yards per carry. A lot of that was in the second half. And you’ll see that with power runners that they’ll get stronger as the game goes on because those front sevens are just tired of tackling his ass. And that’s what’s going to be like a Jordan Mason game is going to be one yard, two yard, one yard, two yard, four yards, seven yards, six yards, 10 yards, 75. That’s what it’s going to be. Ivan Pace Jr. a run fits disruption out there. Like he he was certainly getting after things. Ty Felton. Ty Felton looked really good as a punt gunner and also you know helping I don’t know Ryan Wright uh some some of those punt coverage things uh the hidden yardage matters. Aaron Jones obviously uh initially had that DPI for 42 yards was really was the Vikings offense in the first half but then three catches 44 yards and touchdowns. teardrop. Honestly, that McCarthy throw, the pissm missile to Jefferson and that just rainbow teardrop to Aaron Jones was great. And I listed Aaron Jones as a wide receiver because that’s basically what it was. And we had even suggested during the Addison suspension, just play Aaron Jones a wide receiver. He’s the best pass catching receiver uh running back in the game. He runs routes better than most receivers out there, so why not? Yeah. Javon Hardra, two sacks in his debut. That’s why you paid up, man. Jonathan Allen also would have had a sack, but yeah, I think Caleb Williams has the record for almost sacks. Granard was out there, too. Even though he’s he was being doubled and tripled, still uh disrupted, doing some good things. Andrew Van Ginkle, five tackles, two passes broken up. Almost had the gink six, went to 1712. It was like that. It was great. Also, couple of dogs stepped up. Uh Ty Tyion Ingram Dawkins literally is a dog. Had a pass broken up. Also, he’s going to block a couple field goals just like his length and his height. Also, he’s got a long torso, too. He’s gonna block some field goals. It’s gonna be great. Uh Levi Draco Rodriguez had an early tackle for loss. Um also just consistently getting after things. Uh Justin Jefferson had the touchdown and you know, four for 44 and a Tutty on seven targets. He kind of wanted more, right? because you know, no Kyler Gordon, no Jaylen Johnson, uh Nan Wright was out there. Even though Wright had the pick six, I mean, we know about Nan Wright. So, uh Jaylen Redmond had a couple great stuffs out there. Jay Red was certainly doing things. I mean, the the entire defense actually had a good game even though they weren’t necessarily getting home. And that’s kind of what happens against a I know Caleb’s not really a running quarterback, but he he he’s a quarterback that that can run. you know, he’s not he’s not Josh Allen. He’s not he’s not Lamar Jackson, but you know, Caleb can certainly move. So, I think a little bit was a mush rush to try and keep him contained as much as possible because, as you saw, like, you know, Caleb can can scramble for a first down or when he gets on the perimeter and just playing sort of um improvisational football. That’s where that’s where he really hurts you, right? By Murphy Jr. Murf had a really solid game. The sort of ticky tack penalty at the end. Don’t care. Oh. Oh, McCarthy’s getting back in the locker room. It’s good to see. Also, uh Jaylen Naylor had the 20 yard catch setup record before the half. It’s good good to see there. Also, Naylor’s really mixing up run blocking as well. Uh plus Adam Thielen, I mean, he had that drop on third down. Ayah, but then did catch a two-point conversion. Welcome to the team. Theo Jackson’s out there flying around making plays. Ty Chandler, great heads up play returning kicks late. uh making sure that because we we had said that no matter how deep it was like you have to return that so that it got over the two-minute uh two-minute warning so that the Bears defense going to use that as an extra timeout and it was really good uh room for improvement first half can’t start slow against better teams can’t do that and I I I do think that it was just a bit of a growing pain situation where McCarthy you May maybe they should have played the stars more than one drive in preseason. I mean, hindsight’s 2020. You could pick it apart all you want, but McCarthy did settle down. The pick six was just bad. All right. Uh because they had a zero blitz called and McCarthy just telegraphed that thing to Jefferson and Nan Wright made a hell of a play. All right. Hopefully his injury isn’t too bad. Just school was bad. All right. Darasaw, glad that he’s going to be back. Honestly, at a certain point, just put Rouse out there. Go ahead. Uh Jay Ward J carry on my Jay Wartson son is good for at least one special team penalty per game. He is Ryan Wright punting was not good. Yeah when things were going bad had that really terrible shank. Did did have a couple nice punts later on in the game but Oscar Chapman how come you can’t hold man’s good to go. Jeff Auda. I mean, uh, Auda’s in concuss concussion protocol right now, but you know, that that third down he he gave up as well as the Caleb the first Caleb rushing touchdown. Felt like he could have made a play there, but so it is what it is. Soldierfield Field was bad. You’re a multi-billion dollar industry and you can’t grow grass, but they’re just like, “Oh, let’s have five concerts. Can’t have concerts anywhere else. Just have them at Millennium Park. Have them at the Bean. Flick it.” just uh Jefferson had had a couple key drops dealing with drop on third down. Third down offense started out 0 for8. They ended up three for 11 I think something like that. But overall it was a good game. It was a good game and no emotional hangover. Got to get ready for Sunday Night Football home opener against the Hot Atlanta Falcons. But I think we got one. I think we got one again. When everything was going wrong, he was just like, “F you. F this. We’re winning this game.” And the Vikings won. And that that’s what’s that’s what matters. Glorious. Anyways, your thoughts are thoughts. Vikings Bears recap. Winners and losers. Actually, loser. Bears fans who fell for it again. Aya. They they win they win the championship every year in March. And also they they win one play one uh preseason game. Cool. Anyways, that’s it. You guys are the best. You know what to do. Skull production value.
The Minnesota Vikings and QB JJ McCarthy STUNNED the Crooked Chicago Bears 27-24 scoring 21-points in the 4th quarter. Here’s the Winners and Losers from the game.

67 weeks?
😂 I never feel bad for Chicago fans lol
Once McCarthy got settled in holy shit
He is something special. You could see it in the swagger and eyes. Got that killer instinct. He so young to. Coud we have started a dynasty after this game. I think so. Really excited first time super hopeful in my whole 35+ years as a vikings fan
Skol 💜 💛 💜 💛
Aaron Jones (sword) and Jordan Mason (hammer) to use to use a real Viking analogy will do great things for the Vikes.😀
Mr. Price? Yeah the Price is Right!!
Oh Andy we have a QB for a very very looooooooooooooog time !
Spanish Lesson. El Señor McCarthy es un hijo de la chingada con unos huevotes y tiene un látigo de brazo. (PG-13 version)
Have it at the bean, flick it 😂😂😂
This DLine is going to be monstrous. If they coulda contained Williams at all they woulda had like 10 sacks. Murphy jr struggled though not sure how he was a winner. Missed at least 3 tackles and gave up a bunch of yardage
He’s really the one guys
O-line needs to step up
What you said old Vietnam guy!what you mean!so why you don’t say old Hmong guy!
Good game!
This is going to be the greatest season ever the Vikings look sad the the bears are trash and the lions are freaking spiraling without their coordinators; Go Pack Go🧀🧀🧀🧀 you guys had a chance to take the division while we were rebuilding the last couple of years now Big brother's back💛💛
Jordan Mason is really good RB.
Great comment section.
Loved it! As a huge Michigan fan I was so happy we drafted JJ. Slow start but he turnt it up in the 4th! Gonna be a great season!
Damn, sucks to hear cashman is hurt again. I forgot to do my gameday routine due to me being deployed. Blame me for not playing my song.😢😢😢 cashman is the pivotal point of our defense and I watched a video today about how our defense works so well with him. It suffers without him. Sucks. Hope he’s okay!
I think we should make a group decision narrow the winners to 10 max, because I don’t think Jefferson etc was really winner. Winners should be people who really impacted the game or did well above expected
Listen when I heard he asked them “Is there any other place you guys rather be?” While they were down 😈that’s my QB
Honestly, I was ready to turn the game off at halftime. They looked HORRIBLE, everywhere. Very glad they were able to sweat out a win, but the Bears suck…. that comeback woulda been a whole lot tougher if not impossible against a team who's actually good. I'd like to share your enthusiasm but I'm a liar if I say I'm not concerned. They looked reeeeally bad for 3/4 of the game, on both sides of the ball. Also, IMO, it should take more than one good play to get on the "WINNERS" list. That list should be reserved for guys who played well the entire game, not who only had one good play and the rest was ass or just meh.
It’s seems the Vikings are always setting a new record. Maybe we can make a new one with a SB!
John Marshall pride! So glad I got to go there for Highschool.
My one disagreement: “Kurt would’ve wilted under pressure after the pick-6 in this game”. Source: 33-0 comeback against the colts
The game was like ivan drago fighting creed, end of 3rd is when the coach yelled attack! lol.
LOL Chicago fans sound like an old vietnamese guy.
THANK YOU for the Cowturd take! That little weasel hates Minnesota, -tho begrudgingly includes them in his show. He should include a new segment: Colin Boring
The o line will jell. Than you will see JJ shine
JJ did not choke on Monday night football like ole cousins
The word you were looking for was “putas.” SKOL
Bears fans don't ruin their players. Their ownership does.
Caleb Williams will be fine…Kyler Murray with normal size. He needs to study more and play more. He'll be fine. Does fine win Lombardis? No.

When you mentioned the old Vietnamese guy saying "Who da man?", were you picturing Scotty Nguyen?
