NBA LIVE! Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns | September 14, 2025 | Warriors vs Suns | 2K

Mark Williams out there with Royce O’Neal. Then it’s Jaylen Green and it’s Brooks in at the three slot. Well, two of the best guards in the league going at it today. Grant, is there a bit of bragging rights on the line? You know, maybe not for the players themselves, BA, but the fans will absolutely use this game as evidence when they argue why their guy is the best. And there’s the basket and the whistle blows. Chance at a three-point play here. Going to the line for one. Phoenix shooting their first free throw of the contest. What? All right, we’ve now got our 2K insider Shams Chirania on the line. He’s got a special report. Shs, it’s all yours. Well guys, nobody is quite sure just how the partnership of Deon Booker and Jaylen Green will play out in the desert. They were just one of three back courts to average 20 points per game each last season. But with so many overlapping qualities, it’s not the most obvious fit. But many in the league feel that Green could mold himself actually after Booker and that gives the Suns another potential offensive focal point. Everyone around the league is curious to see how they’ll make this work. Guys, a dangerous duo. All right, Chs, thanks very much. Now here’s Green inside outside for Booker. Some nice ball movement by Phoenix. Hits a three-pointer. And this is big for Booker’s confidence with this three-point ball falling. He’s so tough to stop outside. Green outside. Curry. Shot to stop the run. Drills it from deep. And both teams running long range plays that are working. Yeah, just going back and forth. It is really competitive out there. Now here’s Green. First quarter of play with about a minute and a half gone by. O’Neal passes to Brooks. Just five to shoot. Here’s Green from downtown. Offensive board lets it go from deep. Here’s Williams. Finally, they hit one. Williams has got five. Yeah, he’s going to work early on the offensive glass. He’s so amped up. Well, those offensive rebounds and second chance points really pay off throughout the game. Now, here’s Moody. Pass to Butler. Fires from deep. Williams grabs the board. Phoenix has gone one for three from beyond the arc. Outside for Green. Now O’Neal. Butler covering. He goes up and it’s Butler with the jam. This is why you must stay in front of Butler. When he’s leaking out like this, he’s focused on scoring. Booker the pass to Williams. Now Green. This one for three again. Green missing. You have to defend the three-point line. They got lucky. He missed that one. Outside Curry outside for Butler. Now here’s Pajki. Green covering. It’s Pajki on the wing. Six on the shot clock. Takes a three. The Suns clear it. All right. Let’s check in with Ally Leforce. I caught up with the head coach for Phoenix. On the topic of Curry, coach said, “It’s like playing a game of tack.” He continued, “We had our wings chase our guards around in practice, and everyone is on notice. We all know how good he can be. The important thing is to not take any plays off. He’ll stay sharp or he’ll remind us. That’s for sure.” Ba, back to you, Ally. Thank you. Now, here’s Pajki still without a bucket. The kick out. Curry and a great assist by Butler as that one goes. Look at how solid Curry’s motion is. Almost like he could have done that blindfolded. And here’s Booker. Williams with the screen. Pass to Green for three. Fires in the triple. You don’t want to let him get into a rhythm from out there. And it’s Butler with the ball for the Warriors. Trailing by five down low now. Oh, here’s Pajki and the Warriors with another three. He made the most of that opening, teaching the defense a lesson. Hooker surveying the floor outside. O’Neal on the wing. Brooks outside. Green. The three ball. Rebounded by Butler. Golden State has gone three of six shooting from beyond the arc. Pass to Pajimski. Back to Green. And here’s Curry over Williams. Golden State needs to get off a shot. The shot by Pajinsky. No good. and he almost made them regret defending him so loosely. Outside O’Neal pass to Green and the call is going to be yes on illegal screen. You can get away with one once in a while, but it looked like he wasn’t completely set on that pick. Though often times illegal screens fall into a gray area, but that time he got called for it. Here’s Green. Outside Curry and here’s Butler outside. Excellent D there from O’Neal. That’s how you stay connected to a shooter. Was right in his jersey. Brooks down low. Tyler covering. You have to respect Brook’s approach to the game. He’s always looking for little ways to improve and wants every year to be his best. It’s his first trip to the line. First free throw is good. and Brooks drops them both. Warriors trail by four. Outside Pajki. Pass to Moody. And here’s Pajki. Butler taking his time here. Just five on the clock. Curry gets the bucket. Yeah, the sweet looking jumper of Steph. It just looks so pure coming out of his hands. Booker against Curry. And there it is for him. Booker’s got five points. He’s a go-to guy for them because he’s that consistent. Time and time again, he delivers. Butler on the wing. He’s covered by O’Neal. Booker against Curry outside. Moody from deep three-point range. And it’s Phoenix with the rebound. Williams has got rebound number five here tonight to the paint. That one’s good from Green. And the assist by Brooks. And now a five-point Suns lead. This is where Green is most effective. He’s got a great feel for scoring inside. Outside Moody. Here’s Curry. He’s got nine. Pass to Pimsky. There’s the triple. Count it. Two for four from the field now. Drawing those defenders to the lane creates space on the perimeter. Beautiful look. And so the timeout by Jordan here, coach probably just checking to make sure everybody’s on the same page here. Heat up here. Heat up here. Heels checked in for the Warriors. Here’s Williams. He’s got five. Green. The pass to O’Neal. Left side. Booker to the middle. Green finds Booker. Shot clock at five. Misses from short range. Well, the defense was solid, but usually I expect him to make that layup. And let’s quickly check out the scoring breakdown here for the Suns. Well, great play down low. I mean, you expect the defense to adjust, collapse maybe, but that should open up things on the perimeter later in the game. And what a great job they have done sharing the ball. This is what team basketball looks like. And I love to see it. Done. He’s checked in for the Suns. Allen comes in for Brooks. The Warriors trailing. Butler. A screen on Booker. Healed from outside and it’s Phoenix with a rebound. Williams has got six rebounds in the game. Pass to Booker. Now here’s Dun. Green for three. The rebound by Post. The green light they gave him early should probably turn red. He needs to get others involved. Outside Kaminga. Now here’s Butler defended by Dunn for three. Allen hits the trifecta and the Suns lead by five. Yeah, defensively you just have to be better than that. You know he’s a very good three-point shooter. Now here’s Butler tightly guarded. Oo, great D that time from Dunn. And he just hasn’t been able to get it going this period. And with each miss, you can feel him pressing just a little bit more. Now here’s Booker. Five points in the game for three. Allen. And again, it’s Phoenix from deep. Yeah, great awareness there from Booker. A selfless team first player. Here’s Butler trailing by eight. You think of the reputation that Grayson Allen had coming into the league. He’s changed the narrative for the better, Tim. Well, he’s still hardnosed, but it’s not necessarily what he’s known for anymore. Rather, he’s a great 3 and D option who can occasionally give you that hard foul. Now, here’s Green. Pass to Allen. Williams. A screen on Kaminga. Down to five on the shot clock. The three. Allen. He drops it from range. And now an 11-point Suns lead. They played with fantastic energy from the opening tip. Yeah, they’ve just been the better team. They’ve been more aggressive, which is why they hold a double-digit lead. Dominga shot is off. Well, he was hoping to respond with a three of his own. He just couldn’t get it to go. A moment to hear from Alli Leforce. Thanks, Brian. Well, Devin Booker grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but around age 15, he moved to Moss Point, Mississippi to live and train with his father. Booker said, quote, “I understood the goal and I just embraced the culture and the inner city. They took me in. It was really important time and it was good for me.” Thanks a lot, Ally. Phoenix leading by 11 Booker with it. Five points in the game and he misses. Only two for six. pass to heel and here’s Post Allen defending to win the drought. Dominga shot is off. That’s staying connected to the shooter and timing the contest. Booker with it and it’s heel picking him up. Here’s Williams and Williams punches it home. Boy, I like their energy coming in. Terrific execution so far. And from the opening tip, they’ve been locked in. Just look at the score. That tells you all you need to know. Now here’s Heel. No point so far. Gets the three ball to go. We’ve got 22 seconds left in the opening quarter. Heel against Booker. Pass to Williams. Green for three. Oh, and the release was before the buzzer, but it’s off target. And so it’s Phoenix ending the quarter up 10. They’ve done well to disrupt the opposition playing inspired defense. Back to the game after this break. And so far through one quarter, it’s been a lopsided game. We’ll see if that changes here in the second. And for Phoenix, guys, what jumps out to you statwise? Well, a big differentiator was their ability to generate offense by pounding the glass. Yeah, when you get a second chance opportunity here or there, it starts to add up. Grayson Allen is out there with Devin Booker. Then there’s Nick Richards and it’s Igodaro in at the fourth. So, that’s the lineup on the floor for the Suns. Well, guys, I’m happy I’m not guarding Steph right now. On nights like tonight, Furry can do no wrong. That’s been the story of their offense so far, getting a number of looks from point blank range. Now here’s heel. No made baskets yet. Here’s Curry. Curry from inside. A skillful shot by Curry. He makes the short range floater look effortless. Pass to Igodaro. Here’s Dunn out of bounds. It’ll be Warriors ball. Well, you can’t let that happen. That seems like a mental mistake. Warriors trail by seven. Now Curry takes the three. Richards pulls it in. Now here’s Allen. Pass to Igodaro and here’s Allen. Nine points in the game. Back to Booker. Shot clock at six. Oh, Booker from range. Pure. You see the level of confidence Booker possesses. Outstanding off the catch. Here’s Post covered by Richards to the inside. The kick out. Curry. That won’t go either for Curry. Phoenix leading by 10. Pass to Dun. And here’s Allen. Three-pointer. Jackson Davis. Grabs a miss. Curry against Booker. Curry passes to Heield. There’s the three. It’s hauled in by the Suns. Done. Left side. Outside. Booker. Allen. The pass to Booker. A shot from the high post again. This sounds good for two. A silky mid-range jumper by Booker. Attacking without any hesitation. Here’s Post. Still no points. Jackson Davis’s screen and he lobbs it up. The pass, the catch, the slam. What a clean play. That absolutely jawdropping. And so the timeout by Jordan here. He’ll take the opportunity to regroup. And Grant, when it comes to a franchise player, how much does it help to have a guy who unites the locker room? Well, you know, BA, when you think of guys like LeBron James or a Stephen Curry or Tim Duncan, it’s not just about their play on the court, but the type of person you see in the locker room that can rattle a franchise. like this is going to take patience checks, but you get it in a year. It might take the greatest service. Oh yeah, I’m always kid. Hey man, the price that you pay in like this is going to take patience. You might lose but you get it in a year. It might take the greatest come to surface. Do you know your purpose? Oh yeah. I’m always some changes for Phoenix. O’Neal comes in for Idaro. And it’s Dylan Brooks in for Dunn. Draymond Green. He’s checked in for the Warriors. Pajimky comes in for Jackson Davis. Just under three and a half minutes played here in the second quarter. O’Neal passes to Allen. Back to O’Neal for three. Booker Phoenix no good that time either. Warriors trail by 10 outside. Pajki pass to Heel. right side. Kuminga back to Heel. Six to shoot. Lets the three fly. Nails it. And he’s one for five with that one. And down in the corner, he’ll look so comfortable. I mean, that’s a shot he knows he can make. Now, here’s Allen. Booker with it. He’s got 10. And Booker gets double team. And just a classic pump fake move. I mean, Booker wants the defender to make a mistake and foul him. Phoenix shooting their fourth and fifth attempts at the free throw line tonight. That free throw good from Booker. Yeah, just an offensive machine. Booker generates points consistently night in and night out. A different look for Phoenix. Mark Williams, he’s checked in for Richards and it’s done in for Allen. The Warriors also with a sub. Post is checked in for Kaminga. Both free throws good from Booker. And one of the responsibilities with being a great player is making free throws. It’s tipped. Now done yet to see a basket. Pass to O’Neal. Now here’s Brooks. to the wing on the left. The offensive rebound tries again and it’s laid up and in by Williams. Williams has got nine and that’s a back breaker for the defense. I mean, offensive boards like that run momentum against you and that’s why they’re behind. A lack of effort, a lack of attention to detail. Curry shot is off. He’s cold from distance here in the second quarter. may want to try a different approach moving forward. Down low and Williams punches it home. That gives him a double double. Nice one-handed jam there, Ba. Hey, little exclamation point pass outside. Curry. Oh, Curry. A sick triple. Yeah, most of the time you assume Curry’s three ball is falling. That’s how good he is. Brooks outside now. Williams defended byky and Williams punches it home and breaking out the one hand slam. Man, an emphatic way to extend the lead a little more. Curry with it. Guarded now by Williams. And there’s a pick. Clock at six. The three from Curry and that comes off the assist by Green. Green’s got three assists now in this one. Exactly what every offense needs. Shooters who can force the defense to extend. Yeah, that’s how you create that spacing and that will open up a lot of options offensively. The easy money there for Booker. You can’t let him get this close with the ball. Pass to post. outside. Curry. Here’s Green. Fires the three. Oh, drew the foul and almost hit the three-point bucket. Thought he’ll head to the line for three. Legs, when you’re watching a young team play, what are the things you’re looking for? Well, look, a lot of teams have young players who are focused on making a name for themselves, but I like to see unselfishness. Those guys who can play with a team first winning mindset. Those are the guys that you keep long term. Play D. Do the dirty work. Stay in the rotation. About sums it up. Heat. Heat. Green’s checked in for Dunn. Jimmy Butler’s checked in for the Warriors. Moody comes in for healed. That free throw no good. And he’s good on the second. And he nails the third. Phoenix leading by nine. Outside Green. Booker for three. And that basket makes him six for 11, shooting a good percentage. If there’s anything Booker can’t do on a basketball court, I want to know all about it because tonight he’s doing it all. outside. Curry beyond the ark. Oh, Curry making it look effortless. Anything you can do, I can do better. That one felt a little personal right there. And within the bigger picture of the game, you have these individual matchups. Hooker can’t get it to go. Warriors trail by nine. Butler on the wing outside. Moody. Curry looking it over. It’s Pajimky on the wing. Green with a screen on Green. Here’s Pimski. Misses the three. Used the pump fake well, but he couldn’t capitalize. And stolen by Green. Left side. Pajki. Curry against Booker. Shoots over Booker. That one a little long. Phoenix leading by nine. Brooks outside. Pass to Williams from outside the ark. O’Neal misses and it’s Butler with the ball for Golden State. Here’s Green and it’s Phoenix with the rebound. Williams has got rebound number 13 for him here tonight. It’s stolen by Curry. Oh, and a fast break for the Warriors. And it’s Butler with the jam. Good awareness from Curry. He sees a chance for a steal and gets a fast break going. Booker the pass to Williams. Here’s Green. Oh, he buries the 20-footer. Green’s got seven points. Willing passes, unselfish play. You have to appreciate this kind of offense. Pass to Green outside. Curry fires the three and that comes off the assist by Green. Green’s got four assists in the game. Yeah, he’s leading the charge for them, but let’s be honest, he needs more help if they’re going to get out in front. He’s doing everything he can to keep him in this game, finding good looks. Back to Booker from deep. It’s down. His seventh make in 13 attempts today. And this is something Brooks must continue focusing on. When he sets up guys, team chemistry improves. Butler passes to Green. Oh, look at Green inside. Getting enough shots in close to play inside out. 146 left to play in the first half of basketball. That one from long range. Booker’s got 23 points. Proving how lethal he can be. Booker’s confidence serves as a catalyst for him draining long shots. And Steve Kerr wants a timeout. I think right now he might be looking at some adjustments. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. and the Warriors making a change here. Heields checked in. Pass to Green. A minute and a half left to play in the second quarter. Outside for Butler. Shot clock at six and that one’s good. And Green with the assist. Butler’s got seven points in the game. Unselfish offense leads to Butler getting something in rhythm. Outside Booker outside Green to the paint. Oh, he remains perfect. Seven for seven. showing no signs of letting up. And that’s exactly the type of pass we expect from a guy with his vision. Butler with the ball. He’s against O’Neal. Outside heel three-pointer and it’s Devin Booker with a rebound. The Suns lead by nine. Pass to Green. 24 seconds left in the first half of basketball. Outside O’Neal outside Booker. The Suns need to get off a shot. And here’s Green from the arc. Warriors with the rebound. And here’s Butler from 13. And Butler inside. Yeah, everybody will remember the bucket, but how about that pass to set it up? Devin Booker, he’s feeling it tonight. He’s been the driving force for the Suns, torching the Nets, hitting four from distance that quarter. And Alli Leforce has something for us on the sidelines. Hey Ally, thanks a lot, guys. Head. All right, Ally, thanks for that. We will see everyone right back after this break. Ready for the second half. Heat. Heat. And we hope you’ve enjoyed the broadcast thus far. We’re halfway through the game. Stephen Curry having a dominant impact in this game. Through two quarters of play, he’s been an excellent source of points. Well, and I expect they’re going to continue to lean on him as we continue in this game. Why not? The way he’s playing right now offensively. Here’s Curry. And so in the game for the Warriors, Curry and Pods pairing up in the back court. Down low to be the tenacious pair of Butler and Draymond. And it’s Moody in at the three. Oh, Green with a block. Such a strong defender. This team appreciates when Green gets up the slide of the way on the wing. Brooks defended by Pajki. And here is Green. Pass to Brooks. Launches a three. Sinks the tray. Brooks has got five now. And you got to at least honor Brooks three-point shot if you’re the defense. I mean he is more than capable of connecting outside Pajki. Second half getting started about a minute played. Booker against Curry. Five on the clock. Moody from outside and it’s Devin Booker with a rebound. And Booker has got the ball here for Phoenix. They haven’t given up any points here in the second half. outside. O’Neal launches it. Yes. And it’s Booker with the setup. O’Neal’s got his second basket. Well, the defense needs to be better there. They gave way too much space. Outside. Curry puts up a three. Oh, the sweet stroke of Stephen Curry. Oh, you got to love the back and forth. Showing real confidence at the ark. And when you give up a three, there’s always this instinct to try and get it back immediately. Booker good. Oh, that was quick. Booker getting those three points back easily. Warriors trail by 13. Last year, Jaylen Green was twice named Western Conference Player of the Week. Yeah, and Green was the first Rockets player to win the award multiple times since James Harden in 2019. And you know, we’ve seen the flashes and now on a new team, can he improve his consistency? Kajjimsky shot is good. And we’re playing about as much defense as they did there. Not nearly enough. Brooks outside. Here’s Curry. Cool. Curry moving fast on the take. The speed of Curry’s drive really makes some trouble for the defense. Just cutting them to pieces. Brooks outside. Booker against Curry. Pass to Green. The three is up. Unable to get that one. Warriors trail by eight. Here’s Butler. Nine points in the game. Good work defensively by Brooks. Green. The pass to O’Neal. Outside for Booker. Chops in the three. Booker’s got 29 and just totally relentless. Only increasing the intensity level. Yeah, he can taste a win right now. He’s just trying to close it out. Now here’s Butler outside. Pajki. Green with a screen on Green. Back to Butler. Puts up a deep three. And it’s Phoenix with the rebound. It’s never easy from that distance. So, we see him drill those and shoot around all the time. Well, that’s not a horrible shot for him to take, but you could still probably find a higher percentage shot. And the foul called on Brandon Kajimki. That’s his first foul of the game. Williams passes to Green. Williams with the screen. Five to shoot. Poke loose. It’s stolen by Green and the Warriors pushing it up now. Oh, here’s Moody with a drive and he dunks it down. That’ll definitely steal away some momentum, stripping them of the ball and then grabbing the bucket outside. Booker pass to Brooks. The three. Pajimsky grabs the board. Warriors trail by nine. Inside. Oh, Brooks with the steel outside. Booker. Booker drawing the double. Now O’Neal from behind the ark. That one’s good. Give the assist to Booker. Booker’s got six assists in the game. And a closer look here at the hustle stats for Phoenix. Yeah, they’ve collected an impressive number of steals so far using fast hands to force some turnovers and then scoring on the other end. And they have made a commitment to crash the glass. They are getting second chance points and playing with force on the offensive end. Butler Williams grabs the board. Williams is Booker against Curry. Williams a screen on Curry for three. Booker. Another three for Phoenix. Awfully tough play to defend. When you honor the roller, Booker just takes advantage. Moody passes to Curry up again. Great positioning on the put back. Moody’s gotten four this quarter. Big time effort on the glass. And when you have a touch that soft, those tip ends are easier to make. Curry against Booker. Outside for Brooks, the three. They get the rebound. Second shot opportunity. Booker showing some fight on the interior. Yeah, Booker putting in the work, finding that second chance opportunity outside. Moody pass to Green. Back to Moody. Now Curry and here’s Butler outside. Knocks down the triple. Butler’s got 12 points in the game. Good play call and good execution. The offense running on all cylinders. gives us a chance to catch up with Ally Leforce. Well, the league is hoping for more competition for the All-Star game, and one idea to motivate the players is more prize money for the winning team. It worked for the Emirates Cup. The All-Star festivities drive revenues and publicity for the league. So, those that are advancing this suggestion say put some money on it. Back to you, Art Ally. Thanks a lot. Phoenix leading by 12. Brooks outside. Pass to Williams right side. O’Neal on the wing. Brooks. He buries it from three. Give him eight points now. And he’s much more comfortable shooting off a pass. Brooks with a nice shot. And Steve Kerr wants a timeout. He might have seen something he needs to review with his guys. You know, I heard Steve Kerr talking about this concept, the ball and stick theory, Tim, that some guys just have natural hand eye coordination and will excel in any sport. You agree with that? Completely agree. Typically, we think of athletic ability involving speed or quickness or verticality, but I think that hand eye is critical and counts just as much as those other traits. Heat. Heat. Allen. He’s checked in for Phoenix. Heels checked in for the Warriors. And it’s the Warriors with the ball. 15-point game outside Pajki. They double team Curry. Pass to Green. Shot clock at five now. Here’s Butler. The three is up. Williams grabs the board. Williams has got 15 rebounds here tonight. Now O’Neal. Brooks outside. Back to O’Neal. Here’s Williams. Here’s Allen. Off target on the 15-footer. Warriors trail by 15. Outside Curry, it’s Pajimsky on the wing. Outside heel pass to Curry. Outside Green and it’s good. Assisting on the play was Curry. Curry’s got four assists in the game. One of the primary ways Green helps this offense operating as a stretch big. Now here’s Brooks. Give him eight. And the foul called on Brandon Pajinski. That’s foul number two for him. The Suns making a switch here. Richards has checked in. Post is checked in for the Warriors. Kaminga comes in for Curry. And it’s the Suns with the ball. The biggest lead of the game, 15 points. Allen with it. Picked up by Post. Just five on the clock. Banked it in. off the glass. Allen’s got 11 points. And trust me, when the D’s slow to react, he’ll be the first guy to make them pay. Well, the way this game is going, I’m actually not surprised it was that easy for him. Now, here’s Pajki. Nine points in the game. Back to Kaminga for three with the tip. It’s good on the foot. Knack. Wow, that is just great work. And he got rewarded with that tippet. Green. The pass to Brooks. Now Richards. Take it away. In transition. Here come the Warriors. Wow. Kuminga gets back in a flash. Did you see that? I mean, going right to the rim. And that’s how you finish in the open floor. And give him a lot of credit for his effort right there running the floor. Allen with a screen on Kaminga. Here’s Green. Oh, a clear foul there on the miss shot. So he’ll get a pair at the line. I love it. Slashing his way inside. Green forcing the issue. Phoenix shooting their sixth and seventh free throw shots in the game and he drops a first. And for Green, it’s about trying to be consistent. He has talent and he needs to play to his strengths. Dunn, he’s checked in for Phoenix. Booker comes in for Brooks. Jackson Davis has checked in for the Warriors. And both free throws good for Green. And so it’s Butler who brings up the ball for the Golden State Warriors. Down by 12. You know, he’s smaller for the center position by NBA standards, but his leaping ability more than makes up for his lack of height. Now, here’s Booker. He’s got 34. Back to Green. Here’s the three. The rebound by Post. Warriors trail by 10. Butler on the wing. Green covering. Pass to Jackson Davis. And with that one, the deficit trimmed to single digits. Jackson Davis has got four points now in the quarter. Well, he’s had it rolling all night. He just hasn’t had enough support to give them the lead. Booker against Heels outside. Green just five to shoot. Green in the lane. How sick was that, guys? I mean, he makes defenders look silly with moves like that. Pass to heel. Here’s Post. Knocks down the long J. Post has got five now. When you can shoot over the top of people and hit a high percentage from out there, you are in rare company. Woo! Ba, that’s lit. Go. Ferocious all the way. Man, that was good. Butler finds heel from the arc. The rebound by Allen. Pass to Richards. Now Booker. Hey. Yeah. Right here from deep and that’s not going to go. Misses at the buzzer and we’ve reached the end of the third. Phoenix out in front. up nine. After a quick break, we’re coming right back with the start of the fourth quarter. Fourth quarter action is upon us. Thanks as always for joining us. They’ve got Nick Richards. Grayson Allen is out there with Devin Booker and it’s done in at the small forward position. So that’s the lineup on the floor for the Suns. And let’s face it, when you’re down this many points, you simply can’t let him get that good of a look. One more miscommunication at the defensive end. Just brutal. It can’t happen. And it’s heel missing. And at this point, the defense is daring him to shoot. Allen outside. Screen Booker with it to the middle. Here’s Igdaro. Oh, and he slams it down. Wow. Yeah, play like that is beautiful to watch. Booker running the pick and roll almost to perfection outside heel and he’s going for the Oh, Kinga popped for days. I would imagine it’s nearly impossible to not get fired up after that play. Grant, check these guys out on the bench. Their reaction says it all. They are fired up. Left side Booker and they pick up two. Booker’s got 13 points here in the second half alone. There’s nothing you can do if you’re the defense. Booker is so solid at musling shots in through contact. Pass to post outside. Curry lets go with a three and it’s Phoenix with a rebound. Allen’s got four rebounds now. Don outside. They set the pick. Back to Allen. Now here’s Richards. Guarded by Heel. A nice shot by Richards. And the Suns lead by 16. And that’s the shot they were looking for right under the hoop. outside. Curry pass to Jackson Davis. The kick out. Curry. Hey yo, from deep three-point lane and again for three burries his 10th triple of the game. Unbelievable. Ba. Unbelievable. Outside Booker out. Done outside for three. Allen and give him another one. He’s six of eight and looking solid. Oh, you got to love the back and forth. Showing real confidence at the arc. And when you give up a three, there’s always this instinct to try and get it back immediately. Now here’s heel. across the screen inside and down it goes. Dunked it through off a beautiful setup. The big time throwd down. Check him out. Keeps the grip on that rim after the finish. A little extra emphasis. And the timeout called here by Jordan looking to get everyone dialed in and engaged. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Phoenix making some changes. Mark Williams comes in for Richards and Goodwin is subbed in for Allen. And Golden State also making a switch. But Jimsky’s checked in. Time now to hear from our reporter Ally Leforce. Guys, over that last break, I listened to the Suns coach address his team. And despite the lead, they are still coaching this team hard. In the huddle, they told their guys to stay alert. Do not give them anything easy. They want to protect this late lead, guys. Thanks for that, Ally. Done. The pass to Booker. Fourth quarter of play and over three and a half minutes have gone by now. Back to Dunn. Fires for three. Warriors with the rebound. Heel to the ball. Now guarded by Booker. Curry draws the double. Heel finds Kaminga. Knocked loose. Outside. Heel. Jacks up a three. Another three for Golden State. This is his shot. The defense must chase Heel off that three-point line. outside. Booker the deep three. Good one. Passes to Dun. And here is Williams for three. Booker on target from range. Booker’s got 39. No question. Booker excels at finding shots. He can be a real point machine. Kuminga the pass to Heel. Booker against Curry. Lets it go from deep. Rebounded by Dunn. Phoenix leading by 14. Outside. Booker. Pass to Igodaro. Here’s Goodwin. Defended by Pajki. Booker for three. The Warriors pull it in. Post has got six rebounds now in the game. Now here’s heel puts up a three. The Suns clear it. Given his range, you’d expect him to capitalize on that open outside. Booker done with it. Now guarded by Curry. Back to Booker. Pass to Igodaro. Takes the three. Pajimsky grabs the board. Kajjimski’s got four rebounds now to the inside. Here’s Kuminga. Kuminga just a menace inside. Well, he led his teammate and hit him in stride. You really can’t do it any better than that. And there’s the whistle. The illegal screen is the call. The screener was leaning a bit right there. His feet may not have been planted. Pretty obvious call by the officials. Also, the ball handler needs to wait until the screener’s feet are set. And Steve Kerr calls timeout here. He wants to make sure everyone is aligned given the situation right now. Heat. Heat. A different look for Phoenix O’Neal. He’s checked in for Igodaro. Dylan Brooks comes in for Dunn. And Jaylen Green subbed in for Goodwin. Green’s checked in for the Warriors. Butler comes in for healed. Warriors trail by 12 now. Post outside. Pajki pass to Curry. Back to post. Green against Williams. Here’s Curry. Fires away from way outside. Brooks with the rebound. Brooks has got four rebounds in the game. Booker and it’s Stephan Curry with the rebound. Golden State has gone two of six so far in the fourth. Pass to Pajimski and the foul called on Brandon Pajimsky. That’s his fourth foul of the contest. And this kind of selflessness is great to see. Textbook positioning to draw the charge. Moody’s checked in for the Warriors. Booker finds Williams. Outside for Brooks outside Booker and Booker gets double team. O’Neal on the wing. Here’s the three. Some solid defense from Butler. Warriors trail by 12. The three from Curry. And again, no good by Golden State. Trying to end this thing with some big threes, but the accuracy just isn’t there tonight. No good on the free throw. And he sinks the second. Here’s Pimsky outside. Green pass to Curry. They double team Curry. Moody with it. Brooks on him. Down to five on the shot clock. Moody passes to Curry. And again, no good by Golden State. The Suns lead by 13. And here is Williams. Booker with it. Green picks him up. Brooks. The pass to Williams. Back to Brooks. Some nice ball movement by Phoenix. Here’s Green and the Suns miss again. That’s great shot selection, just poor execution. If you’re going to take those mid-range shots, you’ve got to knock him down. The three from Curry Pure from three-point range. Curry’s got 37. He’s done a great job filling up the box score, but so far it just hasn’t been enough. He needs help. And it’s Brooks missing. Warriors trail by 10. Outside Curry outside Pajki. The three is up. That drops and it comes off an assist from Curry. Curry’s got five assists in the game. That’s a breakdown defensively. He is far too good of a shooter to leave that wide open. And stolen by Green. And they’re on the break. Here’s Pajki. Count that one. He’s now five for eight. They found strong offensive footing in the open court and it’s why every team in this league now looks to run. The numbers say you have an advantage. Williams with the screen outside. Booker and Booker gets double team. Oh, deflected. Curry with a steal. Curry takes it in using the glass to lay it in. And Steph relishes taking key shots. It’s what he’s out there to do. And the timeout called here by Jordan. He’s decided it’s time to clarify the situation, leaving little room for error. Heat. Heat. And Booker has got the ball here for the Phoenix Suns. Here’s Green. Let’s loose for three. Green. Muddy from deep. You love the confidence Green has. He wastes no time going up with the shot. Curry against Booker. Now here’s Pajki. Screen. A screen. Six to shoot. The three is off. Well, let’s make no mistake about it. If you want to cut into this lead, you’re going to have to generate much better shots than that. Oh, it drops in. A throwback wing. Dylan Brooks is very comfortable working down low. Curry against Booker. They double team Curry. Off on the layup. Well, protecting the rim. Plays like that really bolster your defense. O’Neal on the wing. Butler covering. He’s off from three. Warriors trail by eight. Now Curry Moody. Oh, the smooth three from Moody. And defensively, how do you leave him that open in crunch time with it now guarded by Curry? Here’s Brooks for three. The triple drop. And that three-pointer is big. Cancels out the triple at the other end and helps stretch out their lead. And the Warriors shooting around 51%. That’s a good number. And Steve Kerr calls timeout, rallying his guys to make sure they all know the plan. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Now Green Curry draws the double from deep. Oh, Green rips down the board. Now Booker now pass Williams outside Green. Five on the clock. Hooker fires. Good. Another from three. Woo! You can tell he’s feeling it right now. He’s on fire. And here are the Warriors now. 11-point game. Stephen Curry can’t get the three. So no problem for Phoenix as
