Las Vegas Athletics Stadium Construction Update 09 12 2025
[Applause] Hello, this is Dunto. So, as you can see, today I’m at the Old Tropicana site. It is Friday, September 12th, 2025. So, I am here at the OO parking deck. And as you can see here, this is the this would be the north side of the property along Tropicana, but they have crews here actually starting to take down some of this the pile of material here. You can see the excavator there. it in. It looks like we can see the very top of they’re putting it in that machine to grind up the material even finer there. You can see they’re getting like fed onto the belt right there. So, this material, if you remember, they did it in the center field area. All this dirt or material dirt. I get hollered at sometimes cuz I call it dirt. But you got this material here that is they’re using to fill in where they’re putting all the concrete footers in this area. And this area we can see there’s a lot more columns that have gone up and we got a lot more big forms going up in here. So, a lot of progress. I was here. All right. This is uh first time this week, so I haven’t been here since last week. And a lot’s changed in this area here. These columns are going up higher. And I was told that a lot of these columns you see over here going in, you know, they’re going to be the supports for the seating that’s going to be above it. So, pretty interesting. All right, this uh crawler crane right by me, it’s lifting something up. I could see it. Try to find it on the viewfinder here. Actually, it’s this way again. It’s so bright out here, it’s hard to see it. There we go. Trying to figure out where they’re going to lay that. It looks like they’re going to go all the way across to the in, you know, by this white tent over here. Yep. So, that shows you just how big these crawler cranes are. They could just lift everything over all that work area down below there. [Music] All right. So, since I was here last, we could see that there are a lot more forms coming out this way. And all the ones that were in last time I was here have all been removed back like along the wall there. Or not the wall, but the edge of the stadium. All right. In there. And then if we look past this uh the big forms, we can see how they, you know, fill all that area in. If you look right there up along that concrete, how they’re leveling everything out right up to that. So that’s a lot of material that they got to fill in. So pretty much all this stuff in the middle where you know the middle of the field area is and then I’m assuming what’s on the outfield now also that’ll be used to fill all this in. All right, I’m going to move down a little more. We’ll try to see. I could I do see a the concrete pump truck over there. So, I want to get a little closer. See if we could see what they’re if it’s the columns that they’re pouring right now or not. But you can see the pump truck right here. And I do see one of the concrete trucks getting ready to leave and it is not the athletics one. You can see it there. So, it’s Nevada ready mix. They’re the ones that have the contract at least for right now to be pouring concrete. So, we’ll see if the A’s truck shows up today. If you saw my last video, I did get it did see it here. So, pretty cool. I moved down a little bit. We could see you can see how much dirt they’re actually moving over here. How much of it is done. And this is the stuff that they already ran through that machine to make it finer. And then all the rebar that’s in the ground that on this end. And then there’s a lot of rebar laying on the ground. You got these two big drill rigs here. And then we can see all the rebar they have sitting over here. And they’re pretty long. I’m not sure how how deep down they drill if these are the ones that they’re putting in the ground. I would say probably yes, just by the size of these drill rigs. So that should be what’s holding up this stadium when it’s done. I think we see the smaller excavator here where they’re digging out dirt from between all these uh all this rebar in the ground. So, seems like a lot of work like why they would dig it after it’s already in there. [Music] Heat. Heat. And then if we look this way, we can see the crew actually building some of the rebar cages down here on the on the ground. [Music] You can hear the horn. They’re actually they’re lifting up some stuff right now to lower down into this area where they’re building all these forms. So, I’m assuming they’re going to lower that rate down. You can see this whole crew down here putting putting in the forms down this way. So, Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] So there you go. Getting all this in All right, I just moved down a little bit more. So, I want to show if we look by the tower crane there, we can see them putting all the forms up down around there. I could see people on the sides of it. So, let’s zoom in, see what it looks like they’re working on. I guess getting just all these forms secured into place. So if you look at the perspective of how big, you know, the average person is compared to how big these uh walls are, they’re pretty big. And even in the front in this one here, we could see somebody working up top here. So, check out all the columns that have gone up. How much taller? I think last week when I was here, you know, they had the forms up, but now we can see a lot more of them are poured and already forms taken down. So, you know, they’re going to keep going up with these. I’m sure at the staggered, you know, towards the field this way, they’ll be a little shorter and then get taller and taller, you know, to make the stadium uh seating. So, you’re going to have all those going up. Then, we’re supposed to be having, I think it was six uh big support columns that’ll be used to help support the roof once that starts going in. Not sure exactly exactly which ones those are going to be, but those will be going in also. You know, could it be something like this? If you look on the end here, this big old area with all the rebar sticking out and how much concrete they got poured there. I’m thinking maybe that’s like one of them. Six support columns cuz that’s way bigger than any of these other uh pieces of concrete that you could see. [Music] So, if I had to guess, I’d say that’s part of it there. And they’re going to have six of them going around the stadium. [Music] [Music] All right, they just lowered the crane cable down here. Let’s not sure. So, it’s looking like they’re going to pick something out of the out of this area. Yeah, these guys look like they’re hooking something up. So, it’s a big weekend in Las Vegas. So, we got the Canelo fight on Saturday that is at Allegiance Stadium. And then for like Mexican independence weekend, they have a lot of uh concerts going on around town. all around town. So, a lot of concerts, got the big fight, and then Monday night football is going to be the Raiders against the Chargers. So, it’s going to be a busy 3-day weekend here. Can’t wait. If anyone’s going to the Raider game, stop by and say hi. Or if you see me, say hi. Tailgating. And then if you’re close to section 315, stop by and say hi if you want to walk all the way down the steps. I’m on row one, so you’d have to come all the way down. But I enjoy meeting everybody. So you see me, say hi. All right, let’s see. I’m going to zoom in over here by the pump concrete pump truck. I can’t really tell if the arm is anywhere where they’re pumping anything right now. [Music] Okay, so we can see the end from here. That looks like it’s the end. I can’t I can’t tell I can’t tell if they’re pumping from here, but got that there. And we can see they took the forms off of this area. And then also over here, they took off. We got the forms came off. You can see like where the elevator core is going to should be right there. And how now they’re going to just keep building up with the rebar. All right, we got a little better view here. You can see how they’re uh digging out the dirt around all these rebar that’s sticking up out of the ground. If we go over here, we can get a better view of the crews that are putting all these new forms in [Music] So, where they’re putting these forms up. How you doing, sir? Good. How are you? Good day. How are you? All right. I am now on Reno here. I’m actually in the church parking lot. I was approached by the head of security. I’m not allowed to be on the Oyo parking deck. They’re blaming it on this site saying that they said it’s private property and you’re not allowed to look over, which to me doesn’t make sense when you’re on their own the other property. But so I actually had three people there to tell me I got to leave. So, for now, we don’t uh got views from up on the parking deck again. But this is by gate one here. So, you can see uh we got the smaller crane. I see the smaller crane moving around like they’re getting ready to pick something up. I can’t make out. I mean, they’re not lifting it high enough to see what it is. You can see the cable like right almost. It’s a little bit to the left of the gate one sign behind that wall. They’re moving something. All right. So, I guess that’s all we got for today. If you are not subscribed and you would like to follow along, you know, I’ll find another way to look up over the wall. So, if you’re not subscribed, please subscribe to my channel, Raiders 1967. You can also follow me on other social media. I’ll have all them links listed in my uh description of this video. And anything you like about the video, I’d appreciate if I could get a thumbs up. That just helps the video out. Leave me some uh comments, good or bad. I read them all. And everyone have a great weekend and go Raiders. [Applause]
This is my Las Vegas Athletics Stadium Construction update taken on Friday, September 12, 2025. The video starts on the top of the OYO Hotel parking garage but didn’t end there. Security kicked me off of the garage again. I guess I have to find a different way to get these closer views. Before I was kicked out, you can see that a lot more concrete has been poured and more forms are going in. A lot of stuff is now going vertical. It won’t be long until we will be able to see the construction going up from over the wall.

Thanks for the update Duntov, great progress!
CONSTRUCTION IS MOVING ALONG WELL
Maybe get a scissor lift to film over the wall ? ๐ฅ
Duntov, I followed you during the construction of Allegiant stadium and I'm glad to be following you again on the LV Athletics stadium construction as a former NV resident. Great work always!
And to think this site is much better than howard terminal for a baseball stadium.
are they going to provide onsite parking for events? or do they expect everyone to walk there?
We just call that dirt, thatโs used to backfill a technical name, itโs called โfillโ. ๐
Wait, don't they have a construction camera?
I was looking forward to moving to Las Vegas for the next six months to do some contract work but unfortunately one of the major casinos pulled out last minute and now me and my crew will be looking for work elsewhere.I was looking forward to seeing all the construction happening around Las Vegas ๐ง
Yeah what section you in to say hi on Monday night
I believe that if you go inside and buy a drink and a sandwich. Keep the receipt. Now your a customer and security can take a hike.
One of these days its going to look like something..amazing that stuff gets built so complicated
Back in the day I had some footage of them building the Sky dome ( original name ) in Toronto
Security guards are ridiculous sometimes
Are they still building the casino next to this stadium?
I say go to the owners of the OYO and get permission to film from the garage roof.
God made dirt, dirt dont hurt.
Carpenter's sending unsafe loads across the job.
Oh man, I really need to go check out Jamie Kennedy at the laugh factory ๐
What's some gang out here last night? Spray painting graffiti on the top of that black sign for the advertisements where the old Tropicana site I say used to be. I think it was wrong for oyo to just kick you off of that thing how you going to do a videos now.
Looks like you got kicked from the OYO parking garage for the second time, this time in video! I wonder what is going on with the security sometimes as they don't allow filming. Maybe get some piece of equipment to look over the walls with or something.
8:18 Top floor of Mandalay Bay, what is going on there? Is that where the Foundation Room was?
The Oyo should be happy that ANYONE is willing to walk near that craphole. Worst waste of Vegas real estate right now.
Your the Best. Thanks 4 your work
Aโs one loss away from yet another guaranteed losing season that will make 5 years in a row coincidentally coincides with Fisher buying the majority of the team .. Way to go Nevada legislature giving 380 million of the peopleโs money to bring the worst MLB owner to Las Vegas to join the worst owner in the NFL .
That large green steel form/box behind the elevator core is one of the 6 Buttress Columns. It will receive an arched roof truss that flies across to another buttress column that will sit on that large pier cap with the angulated dowels that you pointed out. Then from there another arched truss will get sent to a third buttress form down the 3rd base side and so on so forth zigzagging back and forth
Is it possible to film from the pedestrian bridges over either Tropicana or Las Vegas BLVD?
As construction proceeds along we see the SacraVegas Athletics become the Las Vegas Athletics more by the day. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Once again thank you for the video. ๐๐๐
I still can't believe how long it has been since I started watching the original Tropicana videos. Thank you for posting this and the Mirage to Hard Rock ones. ๐
Hi Dontov, ๐Thank you for the update videos. I'm enjoying them all. I live in LV now. I've been here for 3 months going on 4. I love ya Dontov. Keep em coming!!! Go Raiders!!!!โคโคโคโค
Funny how places like TI, Venetian, and Caesars don't have a problem with you recording on their properties, yet Oyo has an issue? DUMB. Sorry they kicked you out, Duntov.
Hello everyone from Aurora Colorado USA ๐ ๐บ๐ธ ๐. The A's new stadium ๐ is moving along at a good rate. There's big news out of Denver this week is they have picked a site for the Broncos new stadium ๐. Go Denver Broncos! 2025/2026
They canโt stop you from recording on a public sidewalk. Itโs your first amendment right itโs a public easement. Just an fyi
Hellooo Dontov, What a bummer getting kicked off the OYO parking deck ๐ Was that Mortenson & McCarthy saying that or the OYO head of security? Another thing you could try, if so inclined is to, try and schedule a meeting with Mark Badain(A's Pres.) and explain what you are doing and to try and find a solution. You could show him a demo of your construction video updates from Allegiant Stadium to present. Perhaps, they could make you a volunteer videographer of the A's Stadium Construction. Is the alley way between the OYO and A's Stadium closed off, perhaps that is a good vantage point for over the wall shots? If it's a liability issue, perhaps you could offer to sign a waiver.
What would be really awesome If one of those tower Crane operators would throw up a GoPro for you LOL That would be ultimate observation level 10! Great work brother!
Thanks Duntov
What happened to the tree?
So itโs Vega$ so $20 hot dogs? $30 beers? ๐
Hey Dontov, just wondering if there is a vantage point from the MGM parking structure? Is there a possible vantage point from inside the MGM? What about the Tower that has the banner on the windows(below the A's construction cam) might have a hallway with windows that face Tropicana Blvd. and the stadium? Yeah, OYO's security explanation made NO SENSE. Oh well -bummer.
Thank you.
4:03 these dudes are called Rodbusters all they do is just inspect and tie rebar all day long.
Lets go! Thanks for sharing and enjoy the game Monday night!
TIE faster guys IW229
I can't see where the new resort will be. It looks like the stadium is taking up the entire property
