So it’s Offerhide Real Paris Gostic and Lacost. This this unit had some good chances uh last power play. Let’s see if we can’t put a couple goals in here. Paris caught it over to Offerhide. Offerhide surveys, walks the line, hits Real. Real looks down low to Gostic in the corner. Gostic looks, moves it down deep to Lacost. Lacost got it now up back up to Gostic. Gostic down to Lacost. Lacost for real shot. Oh, Gostic’s right there trying to get the deflection. That’s a good play. Looks like he has some uh some words to exchange with the goalie. probably just exchanging uh PlayStation IDs or something to play Fortnite later. I don’t know where the kids playing them. Bump it back. Beautiful. Back to uh Gostic. Gostic looks over to Reel. Real looks little stutter step. gets in a little deeper shot into the into the shin pad. Real’s battling in the corner. Little right play right in front of the net there. Uh real got his stick on it. Just couldn’t elevate it over the bat, but got it on net. That’s good. Gostic battling for the puck. Overall, I feel like the Pens kind of dominated the play. They they had the puck on their stick most of the game. uh won won a lot of the battles, but this is this is a 000 game still. Like we got to get a power play goal here. At least get a goal advantage because the way Philly’s playing this game, they’re just throwing pucks to the front of the net and crashing. Anything can happen when you’re doing that. You don’t want to go down one on some kind of uh lucky bounce or a dirty goal, you know? You kind of want to capitalize here on this power play. Get an advantage. Give yourself a cushion and then just impose your will on them. So, we’ll see what they do here. Jerry’s talking to him in the intermission. I think the boys are buzzing today. They’re they’re definitely feeling it. You can tell the boys are all zipping around out there. A lot of good energy. I don’t know when Philly drove in or when they got here. Know if maybe they got a little bit of car legs going or if if they showed up last night or something. But just seems like we have more energy here in that first period. We’re winning more faceoffs. That’s a good thing. I saw the boys working in practice on faceoffs and it’s uh paying dividends. Here we go. Two three on two. Just out of the reach of lacrosse there. Real try getting him. Oh, and Lass takes a shove going into the corner, but Paris comes up with the puck, pulls a little tow drag, gets it over to Lacass. Lacost tried to go back to Paris, but uh they weren’t on the same page there. Out to Star. Star moves it deep to Real. Real looks over. He’s got the puck. Ooh, throws it in front off a Philly player and then off a player again and right on net and uh luckily it just hit the goalie. Now we got a foot race. Philly’s on the puck in the corner. Stars battling. Off rides battle. Star comes out with it. Moves it out off a Philly player. Sticking Lacrosse is on the forche. Takes a swing at it. Paris knocks it down. Tries to move it over, but the Philly player makes a nice play on it. Oh, but then they cough it up. Now Real gets it. Tries to get it over to Paris and just misses getting that puck on his stick. To have the ability to be able to get still get the puck on net when it’s not where you want it. That’s that’s impressive. So, Jack wheels around the net with the puck. comes out, looks across, beautiful pass. Saw Raz on the back door there and uh got that puck over just I don’t think Raz was ready to be I don’t think Raz expected it to get there to be honest. Oh, throw a puck on net. Raz just missed deflecting it there. So, uh boys again, even though they didn’t score on that power play, they’re still buzzing. They’re all over this Philly team. All right, so we we got a change on the back end. We got Frannis and Kelly still out with Zuma Bay, Emma, and Gothic. Zuma Bay steps in for the faceoff. Is his man up. Philly comes up with the puck this time. They wheel it around. Franners is pinching down. I can’t see what happened, but I’m guessing he maybe murdered somebody there. He just every hit is like a car crash. And what is this now? Like Okay, we got a penalty and Francis is going again. I’m not one 2 minutes rough interference. He’s saying interference. Okay, so now Philly’s on the power play. We got Chhattis, McFall, Offerhide, and Star face off in the corner. Scar smashes it up the wall. Okay, got to get that out there. Oh, McFall just got a stick on that Philly player’s tow drag chance and he’s on the forch. Almost stole that puck. He’s diving all over the place. Better get back into play. McFall just misses knocking that away. Philly down in the corner. Good stick there by Offerhide. Offerhad’s got the puck and he’s just going to send it down the ice. We’re going to change some penalty killers. Boys are very disciplined on their changes. I’ll give them that. They’re They do an excellent job of having their shift working hard and getting off. Frannis is out of the net and it looks like we’re going to get called for icing. Just must have bounced over France’s stick stick there. All right, so the boys kill it off which is good. I think we’ll have one more shift here before we go for a nice cut. They’re coming out with Offerh High, Zuma Bay, Star, Lazarov, and Real. Face off in our zone. All right, false start here. A lot of penalties and somehow the refs have managed to swallow their whistles for this start of the second half of the game. So, um, we’ll see how the rest this last period ends up playing out. If it’s going to keep being a, uh, penalty-free period or if there’s going to be calls, I don’t know. I think you’re starting to get to the point in the game where if you call a penalty, you better be sure it’s a penalty. I’ve been watching him so far this this season. He he seems to he does really good at tying up his man. He’s got to talk to his players though and let them know what he’s doing off the face off. Let them know to come in and help him out. But he seems to tie up the stick and usually win most of them. He doesn’t win this one. Philly gets it and they just come easy break out of the zone and they stretch it up. Pence coming back on the back check. Philly just dumps it in. Their first one to the puck. Bel’s battling for it. If you’re going to if you’re going to pass it around up top and you’re going to try to look for the for the alleyoop play, then you can not be in front of the net. But if you’re going to shoot pucks like this, just like Gostic right there, he’s he’s he’s right there. He’s on the doorstep. He gets a stick on that and good things are going to happen. Kelly tries to throw it in on net and Philly gets another stick on a shot. I’d love to know the number of sticks they got on shots for this game because it’s it’s going to be high. Kelly ends up with a battle. Raz comes in and picks it up. Raz walks the blue line, moves it over to Frannis. McFall’s in front of the net and uh Frannis tries to throw it down to him, just doesn’t get through traffic. So now we got Gostic comes up the wall. He’s up at the blue line up top. He throws it in on net and he takes a monster hit while he was shooting which ends up leading to a breakaway from the player that threw the hit and he ends up scoring a goal but the it’s waved off. We have a goal waved off so I’m not real sure what’s what the play is here. There was a slash that happened somewhere. It must have happened behind the play. I’m not really sure what happened here, but uh the goal was waved off. So, 17 apparently took a slashing penalty, which must have happened after the the hit on Gostic. Philly fans up behind me can’t believe it, but it’s true. It’s damn true. They are not happy. Okay, so Paris, Gostic, and Lacass. Real the first power play. Offride up at the point. He tries to do a jump deep. That should be a trip, but Brady ends up getting it out. Looks like Gostic may have been hurt on that. He’s kind of limbering around a little bit. I’m not sure, but we got Frannis out. Puck goes into the corner. Frannis is on it. He wins it and he throws it out, but the point man keeps it in. Shatis tries to get a body on him and he sidesteps. They move it out to the slot. Now they’re jamming at it. Puck’s loose in front. Looks like McInness does a good job. They throw it in after the whistle and the Pens don’t like that. So Jack doesn’t doesn’t take too kindly to a player throwing it into the net after the whistle blow. So he wanted to let him go know about it. So so far 23 seconds left in this power play and the Pens have done a pretty good job negating their their chances. Again, their tactic just seems to be to throw it to the house and crash bodies. Try to out muscle out muscle your players. It’s not working out too well for him. Lacrosse gets comes in on that face off and ends up icing it down. Goalie sets it up for the Philly Dman. He’s waiting for his man to wheeling. So, he picks it up and he’s got some speed. He cuts to the middle and now he gains the zone. He drives wide down and around the net. Still wheeling. Star with a nice little poke check there and just knocks it off that player stick and then sends it up to the to the PK up top who then sends it down the ice. But that was a nice nifty little quick stick there just to get the puck off his off his blade and gain possession. So, excellent job there by the penalty kill. 7 minutes and 21 seconds left in the third period. Onegoal lead here for the Pens. Brady, Real, and Lacost are out with Vala and Kelly. There’s a battle on the half wall. Philly ends up with it. They’re looking it over and they try to throw it into the slot. Real does an excellent job of just taking that puck away. Thank you very much. Now he’s going to drive wide. Philly’s got numbers back, but Real ends up just onehanded it to the front of the net and the and the goal is going to cover it up. Valle in there on the for on the uh loose puck and they gave him a cross check for his efforts. Zuma Bay, Lazarov, and Gostic are going to be the forward line with Kelly and Vala. Rasways in and just wins it cleanly. But we Vala shoots it and it ends up right in the pads. So, Philly players trying to bait Gostic into a penalty behind the play here. He hit him when he didn’t even have the puck. Gostic smart enough to know to just skate away from that. And we got Lazarov wheeling with the puck. He better move that. And he coughs it up. Philly ends up with the puck. Zuma back for a block. And Lazerof picks the puck up again. Now he’s going to wheel the net again. What’s he going to do with it? He’s got men up ahead and he’s just going to skate it. So, five Philly players back. Lazerof wheels behind the net, throws it in on net. It’s loose. It’s loose in front of the net there. Zuma got a couple whacks at that and almost put it into the net. So, good play. Emba looks like he’s coming out the test the wheels. They look good. I don’t know, Emma. You look good, buddy. Hop in. All right, so we got Paris Lost and Real. Paris wins it back to Reel. Real to Julius. Julius is content to throw it deep. Paris the first one to it. He He gets qui. Real up to the point to Offride. Offride just throws it into the other corner. Philly the first one to it. And they’re going to slow the play down. Retreat behind the net here. Setting up the breakout. Real on the for check. Stick tap knocks the puck away. Now they’re Brady’s going to switch with them. Philly stretching the ice widthwise and they get the puck over to the side. Shot up on McInness’s blocker side shoulder. Just a nice little save there. Real’s got the puck. He moves it over to Paris who’s come streaking down the wing. He pulls up, bumps it back to Offride. Offride back down to Brady, but he still had the man on him. So he wasn’t able to retrieve that. It ends up down deep to Lacost. Lacost chips it back into the corner and Brady’s on it. Brady takes the body reel in. He gets the puck up to Offride. Ride walking in. He takes a shot. Philly goender nabs that up with the big glove. [Music] All right, the line change. He wheels in behind the net. Throws a body. Philly player ends up with the puck and then Gostic throws a body on that player. Melted him in the corner. They chip it up the wall. Kelly’s back to get the puck. Kelly chips it off the wall back to Star. Star got it. He moved it up to Gostic. Gostic moves it to Hold and Hold’s just going to throw it in on the go the Philly tender and the tender’s going to play it. This goalie’s throws it up the ice. It actually hit off of one of the Philly players sticks so it’s not icing. Offride ends up with the puck in the corner. He comes out. He finds Zuma Bay which one hand pass reception there. Excellent. Philly on a line change almost ended up with another breakaway but the a player coming from behind ends up with the puck. So Emma EMBA back out. This is his first shift after after taking that shot to the leg. And Lazeroff’s on the puck in the corner. So now Offra’s trying to fight two Philly players off, but they wheel up the wall and he leaves the first point man. Point man tries to move it down. Raz intercepts that. Chips it off the wall. Embo trying to get to it. Neutral zone puck here. Philly ends up with it. They drive wide. Offride with a nice little poke check and then he gets shoved down to the ice. Lazerof tries to chip it out but it doesn’t go. Philly defender walks the line. He’s on his backhand. He’s just got to throw it deep. So, Vala on on the puck with number 21. They thy again just throws it to the front of the net. Ends up to the D man. Puck ends up in the corner. Offride going over to battle. We got a tired unit out here. Uh boys aren’t moving their legs. So, Philly is just moving the puck around now. Offerhides trying to play D. It gets bumped up to the point man. Thankfully, I believe Lazerov got a stick on that and deflected it out of plate. We needed that whistle. We had some tired bodies sucking wind out there. [Music] So, we got Paris, Lacost, and Real for the forward unit. And we got Kelly and Starf on on the back end. They wheel it around. Real can’t get to it. Philly player goes back and dies out two Penn’s four checkers to chip that ahead. Brady ends up with the puck in the neutral zone and he’s just going to flip it deep. Real catches it. Now he’s the wide. Oh, he tries to do a nice little spinama pass there at the Lacost, but it doesn’t connect. Back down in behind the net to Reel, and he’s battling for the puck. He’s got two men on him. Reel’s down. The puck’s underneath him somewhere. Brady’s trying to help and he takes a cross check for his efforts. Puck goes into the opposite corner and Lacost is on it. Real comes over to help and the puck ends up on Brady stick. Oh, he just dangles it to the outside. Oh, but it ends up in front and Lacost gets it and buries it top shelf. So an So a fortunate play for the Pence. Looked like it fell apart there for a minute and then all the stars align and it ends up on Laos stick on the back door. He’s not going to miss that. Puts it top shelf and it’s two nothing Pence. 2 minutes left. [Music] So, this is going to be an interesting last two minutes of the game cuz tempers have been flaring and the pens just pretty much took the took the game advantage here. So, we got Shadish, Raz, Gostic, Julius, and Vala. Gostic’s got the [ __ ] in the neutral zone. He gets hooked down. Vala’s got it. He sends it to Raz. Raz sends it in deep. The Philly goalender went to play it and a puck went on edge so he just misses it. So they move it up to Gostic. Gostic throws a reverse hit and then he lets the know the Philly player know that he went down. So Raz got it. He throws it in on net and the Philly goalender’s just going to gobble that up. Rostic giving a universal sign for your small to the Philly player. as they skate to their respective benches. All right, so we’re coming back out with Brady, Rio, and Lost, Offerhide, and Star. Philly defender throws it off the wall, gets by offerh high. He interferes there a little bit. Could have definitely been a penalty, but it’s not. So, Offerhide and the Philly player just play catch. Offerhide over to Star. Star’s got it in the corner. He’s going to wheel behind the net with a defender on him. He ends up Wow. almost losing the puck from a hook there. Defender shoots it right into Brady Parish who’s now on a breakaway. Oh, and a defender gets back to make a play, but Real steals the puck and he puts it in the net. Real following the play up ice and finds the puck right on his stick to bury it there. So, Excellent play. Stick tuitiveness. Not giving up on the play until the play’s over. Like that’s that’s what happened right there. Brady took off with the puck. He had a defender back. Tried to hit a dangle. Ended up not happening. But what happens? Merry Christmas, Jack Real. The puck’s on your stick and he’s depositing in the back of the net for a three nothing lead. So, one minute left in this game. We got Shhatis, Lazerof, and Cold out on the ice. Philly defender throws it on net. And we got Frannis and Kelly on the back end. Holds throws the body. Now Shattis throws the body. Now the hitting’s picking up. Kelly uses the boards smartly up to Lazarov. Oh, just he needs to move the puck there. Just move the puck and uh attack the zone. Let your players enter in. Be the high man and get the puck back. Lazerof tries to skate through the whole team. Almost does. Puck ends up in the corner and he chips it up to Frannis. Frannis with a ball. Just misses the net. It ends up behind the net. 20 seconds left. Kelly sends it back down in deep. Lazeroff’s going to be the first one there. He gets the puck, keeps it in the zone. Old throws it deep. Shatter on the puck behind the net. What’s he going to do with it? Comes around, tries to throw a bad angle shot on, but ends up on Francis stick at the point. He throws it back down in deep and that’s going to be the game. So, pretty interesting game. Uh, started off the boys the boys had the advantage. Uh, just couldn’t put the pucks in the net and then by the end of the game, everything that they threw on net was going in. So, ended up with the three nothing win here. Um, Emma ended up back in the game. He was wheeling around for a shift. So hopefully he’s okay and uh hopefully we get Greenspan back. Got a little sketchy there. We had a player in the box for the end of the game as well that that kind of like put the boys in a uh in a in a low personnel situation. But uh the boys end up with a W here. Three nothing. And we’re going to play this same team again tomorrow morning at When’s the game?
