Cowboys Trading For Trey Hendrickson? Don’t Get Your Hopes Up! #Cowboys #shorts #nfl

Clarence Hill twitted this out about Cowboys who trade for Trey Hendrickson. Cool. Sweet. How does that make any sense for Cincinnati? Why would the Bengals who are 1 and0 harboring legitimate playoff aspirations trade away Hendrickson after they finally got him to show up, make an impact in week one, and gave him more money? Why does that make sense for Cincinnati? The answer is, well, what if the Cowboys blew him out of the out of the water with a big time overpay? Why does that make sense for the Cowboys? Why would they give up people like throw in throw in a future one a future one for a 30 plus year old edge rusher? I don’t want to do that. Who also wants a big time contract? No. Like does it really make sense for either side? It’s a fun if the Bengals collapse. We can revisit this idea. But right now I don’t I don’t get why it makes sense for Cincinnati and frankly why it makes sense for the Cowboys at this point. Like that that race kind of been run. You want edge help and you got to go in a different direction.

  1. Jerry is scrambling for players now because he traded Parsons. Dallas cant stop the run. Horrible secondary. He needs a GM . Another Superbowl slipping away. 30 years and counting, and im a Cowboy fan

  2. I say a 2nd round at best for Trey! He is older but he is producing at an elite level and his number speak for themselves! He’s very underrated when it comes to pass rushers and his numbers are up there amongst the parsons, max Crosby’s, and garrets of the world. He isn’t talked about a lot not sure why but he would be a great fit! I’d personally trade 2 maybe even 3 first rounders for Myles Garrett though!

  3. Doing all this and just could of paid Parsons like it doesn't make sense just the same way how they gave away Wilson, cooper etc like man it's starting to be hard to be a cowboys fan man

  4. Why trade Parsons because of a contract dispute to trade for a replacement that will be a contract dispute?

The Cowboys will look to bolster the DL in the off-season without taking on a $35 million per year player.

  5. This is not a great take. To say that the Bengals have playoff aspirations at this point in the season is a reach at best. They looked awful in week 1 on both sides of the ball and won by the very skin of their teeth against an opponent that literally everyone agrees is a bottom 5 team. I think that giving up a 2nd and a 4th for him as well as some o-line depth (or less if you can get away with it) would be enough to get him and he's on a one year deal anyway. If he doesn't make an impact then you just let him walk 🀷. It seems almost like a win-win trade
