Astros vs. Braves Game Highlights (9/13/25) | MLB Highlights
And the Braves are hoping for a good start from the double nickel. Bryce Elder has been on a roll. We will see if he can keep that going tonight. A double nickel has been on a really good run. Throwing the baseball well over his last four. Jeremy Pena. The shorts stop digs in and the first pitch. He hits a mile into the air. Harris sets up shop and makes the catch. The efficient Bryce Elder. One pitch, one out. Here’s Jordon Alvarez. Last night he was 0 for four, but that’s a big stick in their order. And he swings and catches the breeze. Missed that fast ball. Strike out number one for Bryce Elder. Great start here for Bryce Elder. That’s tough for Bryce Elder. Looked like you got a one, two, three inning, but now Korea down to first base. From the Astros fans that are here, they always appreciate José Altuve, the longtime veteran. And he’s going to dig in here with two outs. Two two with two down here in the top of the first. reaches for it out to Harris. Two out walk. No damage done. Bravo’s coming up. Here we are back in Atlanta. The diesels on the mound for your Houston Astros. 28 starts this season and he has amazing numbers across the board. 225 is at erra leading the American League. The whip right around one since August has a 1.44 erra. He has been nothing short of brilliant and consistent all season long. Looking to continue it right here in Atlanta. Juring Profar is one of the switch hitters in the lineup. Two two pitch is a tapper over the head of Hunter. Jeremy charges, flips it and not in time. Jeremy knew he had to get rid of it in a hurry and Jurgen Profar beats out that chopper over the head of Brown. That brings Matt Olsen to the plate. He was 0 for three last night. Profar with a huge lead and he takes off. The throw by Yiner is Wow. What happened? Juriken had an incredible lead and a great jump and Yiner gunned him down somehow. Only the second time Proar has been caught stealing this year. Great catch and throw and tag. This one is towards Cole. He’s going to drift to his right. He has time and room and puts it away for the second out. Here’s Ronald Akuna Jr. right-handed hitting right fielder. Had a home run yesterday on the ground towards Kareah. Carlos will pick it cleanly and throw a strike to Christian Walker. And that’s a good start for Hunter Brown. Leadoff hit wiped out by Yiner Diaz as he faces the minimum. Walker hitting .236 22 homers 78 driven net. Walker last night a three hit game including a two-run single. That one is going to get through. He’s got a hit in seven of his eight games on this road trip. He’s a one out base runner for the Astros here in the second. And Myers draws the walk. Second one issued by Elder already. You’ve got first and second now with Yiner coming up towards the middle and that’s through for ahead. Christian Walker being waved home. He’s going to score. One- nothing Astros thanks to Yiner Diaz. RBI number 64. There are two out for Jeremy Pñena with two on. Jeremy with good numbers with runners in scoring position. Pñena hits one to the wall. That’ll score two. In comes Meyers. Here comes Yer. He will go in standing. It’s three nothing Astros. JP3. A two RBI double. That was a beautiful thing. Laid off a couple of pitches outside the zone. Got a change up hanging out over the plate. So the Astros are off and running again. Carlos Kareah with another double here for the Astros as he leads off the inning with his 25th double of the year. And that’ll bring up Altuve. That ball in the right field’s going to be down. Kareah is going to get the hold side. No reason to take a chance here with nobody out. That’s another base hit for Jos Altuve. He’s got a three hit series going. This is a guy Sanchez has great numbers against. He’s currently 0 for his last 18, but against Elder, he’s got two doubles, two triples, and a home run. This one’s going to be grounded to second. Needs to hustle to get an RBI. He will get an RBI on the fieldielder’s choice in to score Carlos Koreah. And Sanchez reaches as Altuve is forced out at second. It is now four nothing Astros. And it’s a stolen base for Sanchez. His 12th in 14 attempts. Four nothing Astros. Here’s Walker. Walker singled and scored in the second. And he drives this one to deep center field. All the way back goes Harris the second. This is a bomb. A towering cannon shot to center by Christian Walker. His 23rd home run of the season and he’s now up to 80 RBI. That was a majestic shot. Christian Walker foot flailed at that previous slider and then stepped on this sinker right down the middle and hit that one 431 ft. Skywalker in flight. Kind of like when Hunter works with a lead like this. Usually get him four or more. You feel pretty good about your chances. Yeah, like you said, I feel like this is the earliest in a game that he’s had this six-run lead. Here’s Olsen. Olsson flew out to left field his last time up. Good power to all fields. Matt Olsen down the line. Stay fair. She will. That was a blast. Top level of the chop house for Matt Olsen. Third long ball in the last eight games for Olsen. You know, last night Olsen went hitless, but I thought he had some pretty good swings. He’s pretty locked in. That was a curveball right in his wheelhouse. Michael Harris the second the batter. We got to get him going. I don’t want him to finish on a bad note after that rally he put on after the allstar break. And he gets a wave and a pitch down on the curveball and that’ll do it for the Braves. One, two, three inning for Hunter Brown. He picks up his first strike out of the night. Right foot issue. Yes, for Aluve. But he looks to be in pretty good spirits. Yeah, that’s a good That’s what I’m saying. It’s a good sign. He’s on the in the dugout hanging out with the boys. Hunter so far, five innings of work. three hits. He has not walked anybody and he struck out just one so far. There’s a swing and a miss. Hey Hunter, back to back strikeout. There we go. Get the swing and miss going for Hunter. Didn’t have any for his first 14 outs. Yeah, back to back strikeouts and using the curveball for both of them. Nacho Alvarez flyed out as popped out to short his last time up. Hit on the ground backhanded by Koreah. Spins, throws. Oh yeah, Carlos Caraha not only made the play, he got Nacho by about three steps. Did did a great job of fielding a tough hop and immediately pops up and unloads. There’s a great visual of the athleticism of Carlos Koreah and then you get to see the great arm of Carlos Koreah making a tough play look brilliant. Gosh, he did that so quickly. And it looks like it’s going to be a pretty quick bottom of the six. One, two, three go the Braves. Seven straight sent down by the Astro right-hander. Astros lead by five. Olsson goes to second base. Here’s Baldwin, their catcher, who’s 0 for two. That one hit to right. Backing up is Sanchez. Olsson’s going to tag. This will be the second out of the inning. Olsson’s going to head to third. And the throw will not be in time. He’s already matched his career high. This next one will be a new careerhigh in pitch count. 107 last time, now new careerhigh 108. And that’ll be the first walk of the night for Hunter as he misses up top to put runners on first and third. And Joe Espatada hops out of the dugout and will come and get Hunter Brown. Six and two/3 innings tonight for Hunter. He’s a little frustrated he couldn’t get that final out of the inning. He’ll lead with runners on first and third in a five-run game. Butters on the corners for Atlanta with two outs. New pitcher for Hunter Brown is Angel Deas Santos, former Atlanta Brave. Hassan Kim, the batter, their shorts stop, who’s 0 for two, a ground out. And Hassan Kim, RBI single to center field, six-2. Good at bat by Kim. RBI number 10 for Hassan Kim. That run goes on Brown’s latcher back here in Atlanta. There he is. Left-hander Brian King is now into this game. Down to third base for Proar throw. Wilson two for three tonight against Hunter Brown with a home run. Sends this one into left. Playable for Zack Cole. Cole coming in towards the line and will make the catch for the final out of the inning. The Astro Strand, a runner at third base. Brian King gets the lefty out to end the eighth. It’s still six-2. And the Braves are down to their final out. Here’s Azie Alby’s last hope for the Braves. 0 for two with a walk and a ground ball to short. This could be the game. Jeremy Pñena takes his time and the Astros win it by the score of six-2. Hunter Brown gets his second win on the road trip. Two in a row for the Astros. Taking the first two games of this threeame series. They’ll look for the sweet tomorrow.

Absolutely amazing plays lads. Diaz’s throw was shinier than any dime and Correa’s grab was just chefs kiss that’s the kind of play I dream of playing everytime I get on field lol. GG Atlanta can’t wait for the next game❤
Kinda disappointed Walker's unassisted double play isn't in the highlight reel.
