We’ve got Major League Baseball on Sunday, WNBA playoffs, and we’re obviously going to have NFL action on Sunday. We’re also going to focus on week four, uh, college football in the days ahead. Between the Milwaukee Brewers and the St. Louis Cardinals final game of this NL Central rivalry series, you got Milwaukee sending out José Kintana for the start in this one. While the Cardinals will counter with Miles Michaels and Michael coming off a solid road start last time out, five innings, a two-run ball. Uh, only had two strikeouts in that start. He hasn’t necessarily been a strikeout pitcher this season. Just 88 strikeouts across 141 and third innings of work. Um but still in his last three starts he’s given up two runs or less in all three five innings plus pitched. So he’s pitching well right now. But the problem is that you know a couple of those games were at home where he’s been pitching better this season. And you know, he’s also had, you know, his most recent start at a very pitcher friendly ballpark against the Seattle Mariners lineup that, you know, still broke through against the Cardinals bullpen and end up, you know, ended up being a 4-2 loss for the St. Louis Cardinals. But the problem also is that kind of on the other side of that coin. The Cardinals only scored two runs in that game. They lost that game four to two. And that’s not going to work against the Milwaukee Brewers lineup. It’s still one of the hotter teams in baseball overall. Yeah. their their last 10 entering Saturday. They’re just five and five straight up. But still, they’re 90 win team. They’re leading the division by a fair margin. They’re looking to really put, you know, put the dagger in and try to lock everything up. And Jose Kintana, yeah, he hasn’t been great in some of his recent outings. He’s given up a combined 14 runs across 16 or third innings of work across his last three starts. But, you know, the thing is is that I trust Jose Kintana in this spot against the Cardinals offense. like I said been rather inconsistent. Um I think the Brewers can get to Michaelis who like I said on the road this season has been you know less effective. I mean at on the road this season a 6.54 erra a 320 opponent’s batting average for Miles Michaels and I just trust this Milwaukee offense to be able to break through and I trust the Milwaukee bullpen a lot more when we get to the later stages of this game. So I’m going to roll with the Brewers in this one and that’s going to be my free pick.
